Lovely relaxing space with a meandering feeling that flows from Orchard to ornamental to sculptural to kitchen and to pleasure. Lovely staff that have plenty of knowledge and don't mind sharing their know-how. Nice little café, good coffee and cakes. Just go and soak up the love of the garden

What a 'different' garden to visit. From driving from the main road down the forest track. Passing at least 100 deer in the fields parking in the woodland. Down through the woods to the garden. Welcomed by a lovely assistant. I wandered through the gardens, not much growing, as it is January, listening to the birds, nuthatch in the oak tree peeling off the lichen. A really peaceful experience. Coffee and cake great. Then on the way back into the 'Berlin Wall' set in the forest - interesting to say the least. What a great place. I look forward to visiting again when we are in the area.

A beautiful experience, hidden away in woodland and featuring a wide variety of plants grown with a conservation viewpoint. The walls of the garden are a beautiful element in themselves and provide the backdrop for a range of espaliered and other trees. Lovely coffee and vegetarian goodies from the cafe. Don’t miss this place.

The Secret Garden is a tranquil variety of plants, flowers, herbs and colourful vegetable. All eco friendly and full of hidden growth in animals, trees and further natural development. Check out the Berlin Wall area and art displays very good.

Visited to see the Ospreys & their chicks on the nest from the viewing platform 350 yards from nest. The secret garden was a real bonus as was seeing & reading about the sections of the Berlin Wall in the woods. The location is stunning, there are scopes trained on the osprey's nest so best possible views without disturbing these amazing birds. Our guide Mia was fabulous, sharing so much information. Coffee & cakes available to complete a truly memorable visit which we highly recommend.
