1st Class Out of Hours Emergency Service. I called with no power on my boat and within the hour I had a technician on my boat and diagnosed a melted main isolator. Replaced and I was up and running again within 90 minutes. I can't fault them. Excellent service all round.

Liam was excellent swapping out our leisure batteries on our narrowboat and fitting a semi-flexible solar panel. He was very knowledgeable and gave us good advice when asked about other electrical matters on the boat.

I was in need of an ev charger installation and as were new to the area had no tradesman. I put and avert out on one of the sites, and Luam contacted me. He visited to scope out and quote as the cost was reasonable we arranged a date. Luam returned, and the installation was completed with no issues. Very professional service at an affordable price. While installing exterior lights and outlets, a few major discrepancies were annotated and corrections were made by Fogsons Electrical straight away. The repairs to the discrepancies were absolutely necessary and critical to ensure the home's electrical outlets were functioning properly. These discrepancies were previously overlooked by other electrical companies, but thanks to the experience and diligence of Fogsons Electrical, they thoroughly checked the entire home during their installation work. The exterior lights and new outlets installation went smoothly and look amazing. If I could more than five stars I would. I am really delighted with the installation of my new ceiling lights, loft light, outside security light, ring doorbell and ring security light. I would like to thank Lawrence for setting up my ring devices in the ring application that I know I would have struggled with. So a massive thank you to Lawrence and Paul for their outstanding work and it was a real pleasure/honour having them both in my house. I used LS Elec Ltd to channel an electrical cable into a wall and upgrade an extremely dated fuse board complete with testing and certification.. i had an outstanding experience from start to finish. We contacted Vince based on a recommendation for spotlights to be fitted into our kitchen. Vince couldn't have been more helpful with a quick quotation and booking us in for the work to be done. I was being messed around by a 'Emergency Breakdown' Insurance Company who said they couldn't attend for 7-10 days, even though they knew I had an electrical fault, which was a potential fire hazard! I rang Vince at Fletton Electrics and he attended afternoon to assess the problem and make it safe. A new hard-wired appliance was ordered and he fitted it a couple of days later. Excellent clean and tidy service and I was more than happy with the price charged, (price was given upfront). Needless to say, I will definitely be keeping his number close by for future use :-)

I reached out to Adam to discuss his availability in fitting a home charger for an EV, as I saw he was listed as an approved installer. From my initial email to the charger being fitted, the process took just six days. He responded almost immediately to my first email, called round on time the next day and talked me through all the options. He called around again to confirm the appointment - when he could easily just have emailed instead – which was a nice touch, and was in touch again on installation day, to re-confirm times. The work was conducted by two of his colleagues. They were polite, professional and helpful, taking the time after the installation to talk me through how to download the charger app, the functions involved, etc. Very impressed.

Job was done to a high standard and to agreed timescales. Had an EV point fitted and can't fault the care and attention given throughout. Mark talked me through the options, giving me all the advice I needed. The work was done by one of his team Michael, who did a fantastic job despite arriving with a flat van tyre! Very professional and clean and tidy. Mark had to finish the job another day( no fault of his own) and got gave me all the info needed to get my EV point up and running. Great team..can't recommend enough. I recently bought a property with my partner that was in desperate need of renovation. We got Franco round to completely rewire the house ASAP. We made an enquiry to have some electrics installed around the house, they came out to us and gave an intensive quote covering all the items that we wanted installing and exchanging. We were sent a quote and agreed to this, a week later all the work was completed, the staff arrived on time and were very polite. Once all the work was completed they left my property as found and tidied up after themselves. Optimum Electrics added battery storage to our existing Solar PV installation. After some research I chose SunSynk products. I had choices of local installers but selected Optimum Electrics because their quote was the most competitive and I felt that I was dealing with competent and knowledgeable people. There was a small hiccup at install, rectified the following day, and the system has performed flawlessly since installation. The addition of batteries hasn't compromised our ability to benefit from FIT payments, which was an important consideration, and it works alongside our Solar iBoost installation, which heats water when we're net exporting power. The data I've collected since installation in March confirms that we've seen, over summer, a 65% reduction in electricity consumption. The system is easy to control and monitor and I will alter some settings as autumn approaches and daylight hours reduce. We're very happy with this addition to our home.
