adorable little place next to the green, we sat outside on a little table with our dog and enjoyed some savouries, cakes and coffee. the sausage roll and ham and cheese croissants were delicious! the staff were lovely too, thankyou 😊

Waiting for the car to get new tyres fitted at National Tyre (a Halfords Company.....) I stumbled upon this lovely little cafe and all of its quirky contents - staff included. A lovely Americano and a rich, crumbly and packed sausage roll proving to be just the restorative I didn't know I needed - even if it was proffered by the waitress to everyone before finding its way to its rightful consumer... hilarious, as I watched it unfold, and no grudge at all, it should probably write its own travel memoir).

Lovely owners. Mum makes the savoury food and her daughter makes the cakes. A choice of vegetarian and gluten free options alongside full English breakfast etc. Not a huge cafe but charming with seating upstairs as well as down. Chairs and tables are also set out on the green. Supper evenings available and the downstairs setting is super romantic.

Hello 👋 Tiny village atmosphere. Outside on The Green, time stands still. Inside, cosy, creative chic. The array of cakes looked delicious 😋 Simply the best coffee and lovely helpful service.

Liam has just replaced a bathroom extractor fan for me and having been guided by the other reviews, I concur completely with all the positive comments. He is very personable, professional, efficient and does a great job at reasonable pricing. Additionally, as he knew I needed this doing urgently he came the day after I telephoned him. Highly recommend!

Stopped for lunch at 'The Posh Partridge' when visiting Dorset on a combined business / leisure trip. It was a relaxed and pleasant place for lunch and both the service and the food was quality and nicely presented. The hot Pastrami sandwich I had was very tasty, as was the toasted Brie and Cranberry Panini. The cost for two toasted sandwiches and two diet cokes was £20.80

Had the best Greek salad outside of Greece and my husband had the best Dorset Ploughman's lunch. Really delicious and well-presented food in a small, friendly café. Generous portion sizes too. You can't see the huge chunk of cheddar in the pic as it was behind the huge hunk of wholemeal bread! Highly recommended.

Lovely little place. Actually more space in there than you might think. Very nice & friendly staff. Didn't have to wait too long for service & food. Very tasty meals, & excellent sized portions at a very reasonable price. Will certainly visit them again next time I'm in Dorchester.

A fantastic cafe, serving delicious, well priced food. We stopped for lunch and enjoyed sandwiches, soup of the day, and the crab bisque, followed by treacle and ginger tart and Bakewell tart. All of this was homemade and the portions were excellent. This cafe is not to be missed!

Carl and his apprentice came out today to fix a problem with the bathroom lights. Not only did they fix the issue quickly but then checked the other lights for issues. They were smart, tidy and even hoovered up a a little bit of dust that was generated. Would definitely recommend

The staff at Yalbury Cottage consistently went out of their way to be friendly and did everything possible to ensure our stay was exceptional. The room exceeded my expectations significantly, with its stunning and unique view. We truly felt as if we were at home, but in a setting with beautiful new scenery. Situated in Dorchester, Yalbury Cottage offers a perfect base to explore the area and nearby cities such as Weymouth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, have recommended this place to others, and will continue to do so. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotlessly and well-organised. I have used Gavin and his team for some outside lighting installation on an Aircraft Hangar at Bournemouth Airport which I am very satisfied with. We came here for breakfast for my mum's birthday and it did not disappoint! The ingredients are of the highest quality, everything was cooked perfectly and the coffee was great. We were a table of 7 adults and a highchair, and the service was incredibly friendly and professional. The outdoor tables with a view were a perfect way to finish our morning with a coffee and a cannoli. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we look forward to returning soon!

Fabulous! One of the best coffee stops for cyclists in this corner of Dorset. We're always made very welcome. Great service, great coffee and a lovely selection of food. Great coffee and pastries. A lovely friendly atmosphere, I keep meaning to visit when I'm not on a bike.

A good experience at South Coast Dental with Josh. Had a tooth implant here and was extremely nervous, from start to finish everything was explained fully, and support was given at every step by Josh, Tawny and team. Very professional and welcoming practice. Would highly recommend if you are considering a dental implant.

Josh kindly fitted an implant nearly two years ago which I am very pleased with, I recently had an issue with the gum surrounding the implant. Josh and Tawf were able to quickly address the issue for which I am very grateful, the review was very thorough and I learned some useful tips on how to use interdental brushes.

I had 3 implants successfully inserted by Fernando a couple of years ago, without any pain. Recently I needed a deep cleansing treatment for gum disease over one tooth and again, I did not experience pain. Although I have private general dentistry, this is the only dental surgeon who has given injections without pain due to the use of a superior numbing agent beforehand. All the staff are very pleasant also. I can highly recommend this Centre.

I am a very nervous patient following treatment received as a child in the 1960s. However, the treatment I received from Fernando for my dental implants was second to none. He is an excellent practitioner and has the ability to create an air of calm which would put any nervous patient at ease. My implants fit perfectly and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and the staff at South Coast Dental. How I wish it had been the same for me as a child. Thank you to everyone at the practice.
