Went with my sister ( a local ) and daughter and granddaughter. Food was really lovely. Highly reccomend the quiche. The play area is safe and really well laid out. If you are in the area it is well worth a visit. We live over an hour away but do make a beeline for Blackmarsh Farm when visiting. Staff are lovely too.

Good location on the edge of Sherborne to let the kids run and play while you sit comfortably in the old farm yard with a cake and coffee or maybe a light lunch.

An amazing maize, maze one of the best around. What a pity it's the final maze this year. A wonderful attraction for all the family with all the usual facilities including a superb little cafe. Play area for younger children and very reasonably priced. Staff extremely friendly and helpful adding to the experience. The maze is open all summer until early September so get in there quickly for a brilliant day out!

I love this little place that has a larger personality especially around the holidays, nice food, nice helpful staff, and full of friendlyness. It gets bigger and louder during the holidays and summer months when it opens the play area and the maize maze. Lovely for families and children. I have to say it pleases my heart to see this place set up for children's outside play, they certainly keep you on your toes, even when you are not part of that group or party, it has a little downside life everywhere when is busy hearing can be an issue even when sat face to face, so if you're expecting a wee cuppa or coffee or lunch in peace or relative quite here, you honestly won't know until you get there. It's just lovely hearing the children and youths being a play outside and not attached to their phones or computers.

A “rare find” as AirBnB often says! An old school cafe, with personal service at reasonable/fair prices. It’s not often that you can buy an Americano for £2.20 these days! And their menu has a wide range of sandwiches and/or toasties. Nothing fancy, but great value and a friendly welcome.

Stopped at this lovely cafe on the way to Cornwall and it was so good we stopped there again on the way back. Emily and John are friendly and the food tasty with generous portions. We thoroughly recommend. Keith and Serena.

Lovely lil cafe. Had an Americano and a flapjack to go from here. Emily and John were on shift I must say both were very welcoming, friendly & extremely helpful. Was a pleasure to meet you both will visit again soon. I really dislike coming into poundbury (was there because of work) but these lovely humans made my day. Thank you so much.

A wonderful lunch, we all decide to have the daily specials. All were delicious, great value for money and we had three dogs with us and the staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating. They bring you complimentary biscuits for the dogs.

After years of poor treatment from other dentists, I have been left with a dentist phobia, however after moving to the area and needing treatment, I was lucky to find Church Street Dental Centre. The team are always happy and friendly. I needed quite a bit of work, and I must admit Jenny has been the best dentist I have ever visited, she has been amazing and I would not like to use any other practice after the first class treatment I have received from this practice.

As a family we have been visiting church street dental practice for many years. The team there are fantastic and always friendly. Today we were greeted by Tracey who always has a welcoming smile on reception. I saw Pavan Chahal for treatment and he was amazing! Such a lovely friendly guy who really put me at ease, as I'm not the best patient! Georgia who was helping Palvan was so kind to my son who had to attend my appointment with me. The whole experience made my visit very painless and actually enjoyable 😉. Thank you church Street.

Been seeing Hannah for Botox for nearly a year now and I am so so pleased with the results! I feel it has improved my skin so much. Hannah has always been friendly and professional and I feel well looked after from booking the appointment to follow up appointments to check I’m happy and if I need any tweaks. Highly recommend!

I would like to express the brilliant service I have received at this practice. I've recently had a teeth straightening process, and the whole experience has been great from start to finish. George has done a fabulous job and I highly recommend him, and the results have made me happy and more confident. I’m a relatively nervous patient after having a particularly bad experience at another dentist. Both Spyridon (dentist) and Charlotte (dental nurse) have looked after me so well, calmed my nerves and got me through all my check ups and treatments without me worrying or feeling anxious. All the staff I have come in to contact with have been kind and helpful, with a special mention to Sharon who always makes me feel welcome when I walk through the door. Thanks team 😊

I cannot fault this dental practice. My son has just had his third check up - literally takes a couple of minutes. The dentist and nurse were fantastic with my little boy and he was completely at ease. The receptionist is always welcoming and friendly and helped occupy my children while we waited. In 2023 my front crown cracked. I had broken my front tooth when I was 9years old and was given a metal post to hold the crown. Over the years I must have had four crowns, I am now in my 70's. My exiting dentist was not very informative about my options and dismissive of my anxiety about loosing one of my front teeth. I was told that I could not have another crown, because the current crowns could not be used with a metal post. I also found that I was given different information each time I wanted to discuss my options. I began to do my own research and short listed three different dentists. I chose to try Wincanton Dental Practice initially because their information on each of their dentists was clear, accessible and impressive. From my very first appointment I found the dentists I saw to be patient, understanding, very informative. Allowing me to see my scans and explaining them. Taking time to explain my different options and the cost and time needed of each possibility. I chose to have an implant, which though was the most expensive option, was more reasonable than the two other dental practices I had researched. The actual operation of taking out the remains of my old root and replacing it with an implant, was extraordinarily quick and painless. With almost no swelling or pain the following days [though I am a Homeopath and had filled myself with supporting remedies!]. It is now several months later, my new implant and tooth is so beautifully matched to my other teeth that it is not noticeably different. I have had no problems or issues and am delighted with the results. I can not emphasise enough how well I was looked after by everyone that I came in contact with, from receptionist to dental surgeon.

Great experience as a place, but also in the restaurant and in the store I would like to find things of very good quality, not just the basic one. The bread for breakfast can be one from a local bakery not a frozen baguette or the store could also sell organic milk in cartons not in plastic bottle or a yogurt in a jar not just plastic buckets...etc. Overall it was good with skilled and kind staff.

A huge, varied menu with very tasty, generous portions of food in a nice setting. A bit too easy to spend quite a lot of money! Great location with children when the weather is ok as there's a big field with football goals and some play equipment.

Great farm shop and very good restaurant, but has gotten incredibly busy. The farm shop is excellent, with a great butcher's counter and great selection of fruit & veg, as well as lots of posh nibbles. The restaurant is very reliable, decent food and good service. The only downside is that, with the large additional seating area they added to the restaurant, the whole place can get very busy. On a Saturday lunchtime we were lucky to snag the very last parking spot left in both the main and the *overflow* car parks.

I could have spent endless hours pouring over everything in the shop. It’s a beauty to behold in the eyes of an American. There are assortments of wonderful pastries, cakes, cookies and breads. All types of condiments and sauces. An extensive meat counter with varieties of meat and fish (I regret to say my sausage and bacon from there were immediately seized upon my return to the US). Of course there are cheeses, spreads, pate and a great frozen section of many items including ready meals. The staff was friendly and the items I was able to enjoy (like the smoked trout terrine and a steak & kidney pie) were absolutely amazing

Huge muscles in a nicely balanced blue cheese cream sauce. The fish chowder was also lovely, great tasting fish and fresh veg. We enjoyed on a wet and windy day, outside seating had heaters which warmed us up nicely. Would recommend after a walk.

Camping at Freshwater holiday park, a 20 minute walk to visit this gem of a place. Busy and bustling restaurant, great menu, food was outstanding and the service was great too. Dog friendly aswell, all in all, will definitely be returning soon.

We arrived at 11.20, just in time to order breakfast. We were lucky to get the table on the edge of the 'tent' overlooking the beach. Despite being quite busy we received very efficient service. The food arrived within 15- 20 min, then our hot drinks. We had 3 x full English and egg Benedict on muffin with bacon. Everyone enjoyed it. The only nuisance were a few wasps but not a lot to spoil our experience.

Came here today, after walking from our campsite at Graston Copse through Burton Bradstock village. A warm welcome by a member of staff & shown to our outside table for 4 with 3 dogs. Our waitress took our drinks order & returned after a few minutes to take our food order. She was very friendly and attentive, giving time for a chat despite being extremely busy. Wait for our food was minimal and when it arrived it was hot, tasty & well presented. Back ground music was pleasant, giving the Mediterranean feeling due to the sunshine. Wouldn't hesitate in returning if we are in the area again .... thank you.

This is a well loved beach cafe which has beautiful scenic views, it is very popular and rightly so. The menu is mainly fish and seafood dishes. However, they do a smashing full English breakfast up to 11.30 am. I will post pics. This dog friendly beach cafe has a carpark close by, but if you choose to walk along the cliff top path or the lower paths, you will walk within the most beautiful scenery. This is a totally table service venue, so once you are seated, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the view. Prices are reasonable.

Always excellent . Polite receptionists and appointments easily booked. The dentist and dental nurse were thorough and great with me as a nervous patient. I was horrified to hear that patients have been abusive to the staff here - we are lucky to have an NHS dentist .
