We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat in Margate. We were welcomed in to eat despite it being the end of a long day for the restaurant team and without a booking. The decor is beautiful, the staff were warm and friendly and the food... we were impressed. It's delicate and delicious with options to suit lots of tastes. The price was very reasonable for the quality we experienced. Thank you 🙏

Came in on Saturday lunchtime absolutely faultless in every way, very good service absolutely outstanding food. Already rebooked so worth the hour travel time to you. No doubt we will be regulars!

Great cafe with loads of choice for lunch and main meals. Really reasonable prices, massive portions and fresh tasting. Good service. The latte was slightly boiled but the chicken Milanese sandwich was amazing! High recommend.

Gloria's cafe has been done up. It doesn't have the red furniture any more. It is very clean. The toilet was immaculate. The food was nice, I only had beans on toast and I would say the portion of beans was too much. The service was a little slow, but the waitress did say it was her first day. Overall very good though.

This place is spotless, modern vibes and amazing food. I went for a traditional English breakfast which was absolutely delicious, but there are many other options, including vegetarian and other healthy foods. 💯 recommend

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Colina Restaurant for my Birthday party in Margate and it was an exceptional experience. The food was outstanding, particularly the baby chicken and clams dishes among others,The flavors were perfectly balanced and left me wanting more. The waiting staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Fantastic spot in Margate! The food is great, we had the octopus salad, crab tagliatelle, bavette and deserts, highly recommend the peach sorbet for dessert. The atmosphere is cozy, and they even allow dogs, which was a huge plus. We were served by Harry, who was very welcoming. Highly recommend this place for both locals and visitors! 10 out of 10, would dine here again 😁

I had a wonderful experience at Colina. Everything I ate and drank was excellent, especially the shrimp burger and the lemon tart. The restaurant is conveniently located, looking right out to the coastline. It had a very cosy and inviting atmosphere, which was helped by the wonderful staff.

This is not a Michelin starred restaurant: my 5-star rating is for the warm welcome, the friendly, relaxed atmosphere, sensibly-priced snacks, and the facilities afforded to parents (and grandparents!) with young children, which are top-drawer. There's even a separate upstairs room available away from the main café. Excellent!

Family friendly spot, with lovely sandwiches and excellent picture menu for children which they can understand easily. Play areas upstairs and in the garden. A wonderful space for kids to be kids while adults grab a cuppa. Staff always go the extra mile. Top spot for families with toddlers.

Absolute gem of a place with great coffee [espresso], fabulous food, and the sweetest ladies. You feel like a dear friend every time you walk in, even when it's your first visit. I highly recommend this place and urge everyone to support these women. They have a wonderful cafe and the kindest hearts. When I'm back in Margate, they will be my first stop.

Beautiful food, classy surroundings and ‘just right’ service. It’s a really warm, friendly restaurant. Had a lovely dinner with my extremely well travelled son and he was very impressed! Especially with the red bottle!! Venison was gorgeous too!

We’re here on holiday and our friends recommended Quince. The staff were so accommodating when I requested a vegan meal, and my apparently many dislikes of others ingredients they suggested (I didn’t realise I didn’t like so much!)! The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were so welcoming, friendly and knowledgable! I’d say the price is completely fair for the quality and size of the portions! Would highly recommend!

A lovely evening at Quince with friends. Staff were attentive but also gave us time to order, chat and enjoy the afternoon without being interrupted lots. My stomach is absolutely full and those charred vegetables I could eat everyday. Thank you for all your hard work and care - we will definitely be back soon. Excellent value for money.

Alistair was quick to provide me with a quote for an electrical inspection for communal fuse box in our small block of flats. I sent him a photo of our existing fuse box & he could immediately see that it no longer met the current regulations. He then quickly gave me a quote for the price of a new fuse box & the fitting. I booked him in to do the work & he arrived on time with all the necessary parts. He did a great job & was very polite. I will be recommending him to all my friends

Amazing quality for the price. The staff were lovely, and the food was very tasty. We had a curried scallop and jerk sausage for starter which was really good. My partner had the jerk burger and I had the Curried Goat. Both were really good, but I would have liked more heat in the curry. I asked to swap the rice for plantain and they were very happy to accommodate me, which was lovely. We had 1 starter 2 mains and 4 double gnts for about £65, for the quality of the food the price is amazing.

They make a seriously delicious Creole fish stew here. I think it was only 18 pounds and you get fresh and juicy seafood paired with the richest tomato broth. Came here on a weekday so there was only one waitress but she was kind and helpful throughout the lunch. I’m honestly surprised by how quiet it was, given the high quality of food and affordable menu.

I love this bar/pizzeria. It's got a simple menu with all the best things you want. The choice of house lager and wine is spot on and the pizza base is made from a proper professional dough. Location is great on a corner right in the centre of Margate Old Town where you can soak up the evening atmosphere. Weekends they do special off-menu pizzas to mix things up a bit and the staff are really friendly and professional - creating a welcoming vibe. Away from the naughty postcard sea front, the Pickled Fox is an oasis of calm and charm. Pizzas were amazing - they make them to order and had a gluten free base for one of us (they're cooked in the same oven, so coeliacs be wary) - craft beer on offer was excellent and they even had some GF peroni. Staff were lovely, too, despite being run ragged as it got busier.

What a fantastic place! The best pizza in town—freshly baked and absolutely delicious. The wine is also of excellent quality. The ambiance is cozy and relaxing, and the team is incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special shout out to the lady from Poland, who is very professional and friendly.
