Mike has been to our home several times and has been excellent and friendly and sorted things out for us and he is very reasonably priced and came as planned and so I would have no problem in recommending him.

I called Mike as I had hit a cable in a wall first thing on a Sunday morning, which caused us to lose electricity to the whole house, by early afternoon he had been over, created a temporary fix to get us back up and running and promised to be over first thing in the morning to replace the damaged wire. True to his word he did just that, within an hour he and his Daughter had replaced the damaged wire. I found them both to be polite, friendly and their work to be of the highest standard. I wouldn't have any problems recommending them and will 100% be using them for any future issues we have.

Mike came and fitted a, replacement switch for my shower and came highly recommended by the local estate agent. Mike was polite and professional and replaced the switch with no problems. I'd highly recommended him as communication was good and effortless.

I had a sudden problem with various sockets and appliances not working throughout my flat. The issues were quickly identified as a faulty appliance and a separate issue with an ancient fuse box, something I knew had needed updating for a while. Mike explained everything clearly, and the first issue was dealt with, and also the fuse box made safe. Mike then returned asap to replace the fuse box with a modern consumer unit; this was in a fiddly access area, but Mike suggested a solution that made it accessible, and the result was a nice tidy job. The issues were communicated clearly, and quotes were given up front. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Mike again, and I was really pleased with the service and outcome.

Me and my ex were out in town and wanted to eat some good breakfast. My mom recommended this cafe to me, saying that it looked quite good and that they served healthy and real food. We decided to try it out and eat there, when we arrived we saw that there was a selection of healthy foods for sale (snacks and stuff). There is a nice upstairs seating area with a good view which we decided to go up to. We ordered two wraps, smoothies, and a side of skin on fries. The smoothies came first and they were really good, made with fresh fruit and it was clear they were made with good ingredients. They tasted really nice. The wraps were huge portions and came with a side of salad and presented really well in what looks like recyclable / eco packaging. The wraps were full of meat and sides and were really filling. The skin on fries were not greasy and tasted really fresh, it was very clear that the ingredients were high quality. Overall the food was amazing, albeit not cheap, but I think that the quality makes up for it. Would highly recommend for fresh and tasty food with a nice view.

Shame it isn't advertised as a vegan only place! I assumed that most of the menu is just a regular cafe menu. Ate there today for the first time only because my friend took me there and a staff member told me it's all vegan. Great coffee, tea and food! Lovely little place with very welcoming service. Large choice of vegan cakes too! Highly recommended!

The best place in Southampton 😍!!! I’ve come twice and wish I lived closer as otherwise I’d be here every week! It’s a fully vegan menu but with so many options, reasonably priced, and lovely staff and decor. They also sell some chocolates and vegan pantry essentials. To the owners- PLEASE keep the chicken tenders and deep fried cookie dough permanently! 😍

From the moment we walked into Tap & Tandoor, we felt welcomed. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere. perfect for a relaxing evening. The staff was attentive and friendly, our waiter, Sumzn, was particularly helpful and made impeccable service, We started with Vodka & Whisky, a Chicken Tandoori,Chicken Wings & Masala Chips which was absolutely divine. On February 14th, I visited Tap and Tandoor for an evening meal with my daughter and girlfriend. First and foremost, the service was exceptional. Our server, Sam, was attentive and professional, ensuring we were well looked after throughout the evening. While the food was enjoyable, it didn't quite reach the level of authenticity I typically seek in Indian cuisine. The flavors seemed somewhat subdued, catering more to a general English palate. The lamb in the curry, for instance, had a gamier taste, reminiscent of goat, which overshadowed the spices. I would have preferred a bolder, more pronounced spice profile. Additionally, the lamb chops, while flavorful, were slightly overcooked, resulting in a somewhat dry texture. My girlfriend's butter chicken, while not entirely traditional, was the more appealing dish. I particularly enjoyed the "Papu" beer I ordered. Overall, we had a pleasant experience, largely thanks to Sam's excellent service. However, the food, while acceptable, didn't quite meet my expectations, making a return visit unlikely

Well priced and delicious food! It started to get very busy while we were there (approx 6-7pm on a Saturday night). They had the football on and every table was full. Nice atmosphere and satff were great. Would return!

Very professional, The install was managed professionally, health and safety a clear priority from the offset .The job progress was communicated at all times by the director Ricky. Time frame was met and didn’t go over the agreed cost, will be using again for electrical installations. (Very tidy cabling management)

Great time at the Pumpkin patch today, Lots of parking. Lots of wheelbarrows and it is very straight forward to get too. - There should be more information on display with regards to the prices of the pumpkins as it isn’t very clear unless looking at the website. Cafe and lots of activities for children there! Great time, also its pet friendly 🍁🌾🦮🐾💗

Second time we have done the pumpkin picking here. A lot of rotten pumpkins around. But very well decorated and well set up. The decorations were nice. A bit more interesting for younger kids. But we still all had fun.

Any amazing selection of fresh meats, frozen stock bones, the vegetable and fruit selection was good and the frozen meals and loose ingredients is a nice thing. Refillable toiletries and household products, a large range of JASON and Kind Natured products, lots of allergy safe food stuffs. Refillable cow and oat milks. We will be visiting regularly.

Been here a few times so wanted to take my girlfriend here when she was visiting. It’s amazing how It gets better every time. You can tell everything is quality sourced and it was cooked to perfection. Also, I will definitely be putting chives on my mushrooms from now on! Keep independent spots like this alive my friends.

We had the best breakfast experience in the UK thanks to Kate’s Café! A small, cozy restaurant with great and welcoming atmosphere and incredibly friendly Staff. The food was impeccable, fresh and so good we ordered twice. My personal favorite was the salmon bagel and the full English breakfast ❤️ we will definitely come back :)

perfectly poached eggs on bloomer granary toast. i had sausage and bacon with it, the back bacon was wonderful the proper amount of rind and obviously freshly cooked, the sausage made by someone who knew what they were doing firm and meaty definitely delicious. it's our third visit each time it has been really fab. i felt i had to tell people about it. The best quality breakfast we've found anywhere in southampton. my wife had a latte and i had a cup of tea we heartily enjoyed them too

I was treated to an afternoon tea at Kimbridge Barn by a wonderful friend in March 2024. What an experience. We were seated in the window in the sunshine. Staff could not be more attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. The scones were huge - the size of a large mango - but beautifully soft & delicious and served warm. The sandwiches were scrummy, the ham hock mayo my favourite. The sunshine melted the sour cherry chocolate bar as we weren’t paying attention! It too tasted wonderful. Will definitely come back when the weather warms up. The package included unlimited teas and americano coffee. Would have been nice to include one special coffee like a latte for the price, but small niggle.

Great brunch place, excellent coffee and all the food is sourced locally which I love! The boot room is especially cosy for coffee and cake on a cold miserable day with its nice fireplace. Only downside (which isn't their fault) is it gets very busy at weekends so do book on advance to avoid disappointment as this has happened a couple times to us.

Saturday I had Chicken snitzel and my wife had the Haddock we both enjoyed the food. We returned on Sunday I had the Bacon belly and my wife had the scallops we both enjoyed so much so that I said complements to the Chef. Wonderful food. Good atmosphere and a craft shop too.

Went on a Monday and got the vegan full Kimbridge - it was lush! The only “criticism” is that I’d have liked 1 more hash brown because they were perfection and there was waaaaay too much butter lol. But we will definitely be going back. The courgette fritters were fried to perfection. Great atmosphere, lovely location and the staff were very accommodating!

Found this place by chance after camping in the New Forest for the weekend. 100% recommend, a great menu and yummy food. I had the chicken and waffles and it came with a generous helping of maple syrup. The only thing I would change is serving the syrup on the side. I also had one of the best chai lattes I’ve ever had. Our dogs were made to feel welcome and were given treats by the staff. Thank you so much for a lovely breakfast!

Went here for dinner on my birthday with my partner. I had a spicy chicken linguine and my partner had sizzling chicken fajitas. Both dishes tasted amazing and the presentation of the food was lovely. The pub holds a great atmosphere and the service from staff was wonderful. Really enjoyed my meal here and will definitely come back in the future. :)

We came here for dinner before a comedy gig the other week on a Thursday. The service was excellent, really friendly and helpful. Very good menu, lots of tasty options, the burger was delicious and my friend had a roast which was also fab. The Xmas decorations are lovely and the music was on but not so loud it makes it overwhelming or difficult to talk, really nice atmosphere, great value, would definitely come again and have recommended to several people since visiting. I booked a table of 7 for my birthday yesterday. All the food we had was lovely (it's unusual for not one to be picky and have a complaint) We could hear each over talk, although my grandad decided not to put new batteries in his hearing aid! The service was great. The lads were enthusiastic and accommodating. Putting a candle in my crumble was really cute! We will be back, thank you!

Excellent roast dinner for a reasonable price. They looked after our large group well. Only lost a star for atmosphere because the live music, although good quality, was too loud for us to be able to hear the person stood next to us.

🎄Our party of 16 thoroughly enjoyed our festive meal today at the Testwood... everything went smoothly from the time of booking, menu choices etc. The staff were super friendly, nothing too much trouble despite being very busy, meals were excellent, plentiful and reasonably priced. Really enjoyed the couple of times we popped in here. First time was for just a drink, but I couldn't resist one of their cakes. The second time was for lunch and I had an excellent scampi and chips. They also made a salad sandwich up for my partner at her request. Great service, fantastic views, excellent food.

Was really pleased with our visit here. It was really busy when we visited but they still found us a table and the service was still really friendly. There was a great menu with lunches, dessert and cakes. I had the carrot cake and it was probably the best carrot cake I've had. There's great views out to see and over to the Isle of Wight.

Had spot of food and a drink after walking along the beach. Daughter declared that was the best fried breakfast she had had, every thing cooked exactly as she liked it. My breakfast bap was lovely, egg was perfect, little bit runny so it mixed with the bacon and sausages, but not so much as it was dripping all down your face. Very polite, attentive staff, definitely going back

We just stopped for coffee and cake, which was very nice. However, when seeing other people's food coming out of the kitchen, we have added this place to our return list for a meal. The food looked fantastic and great value for money. Well worth a try if you are near by.
