As an owner of a very anxious dog, moving vets a couple of years ago was a daunting experience, especially after our negative experience with a well known high street vet. However, the staff at Pet Practice quickly reassured us that moving was the correct decision. They quickly realised the anxious nature of our dog and put steps in place to reassure him so that he was comfortable with visiting the vets, which wasn't the case with the previous vets. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our dogs needs. After arranging happy visits, and building trust with not only the vets, but the vetinary nurses (especially Carrie) and reception staff our dog has now done a complete 180 in his attitude to visiting the vets. This means that annual checkups, vaccinations and a recent op were carried out with little apprehension on our part. I could sing the staffs praises all day long, and I only wish we moved vets sooner.

We’ve only visited three times so far and each time we get a friendly welcome from reception and vet. We didn’t have to wait long to get an appointment and are always seen on time. Very pleased with this practice and would recommend.

I always recommend Pets Practice Romsey. Murphy is here a lot! And he loves the place, he always seen quickly and I always feel at ease with the answers even though sometimes they are not what you want to hear. Lovely place and lovely staff

We contacted Pegasus Plumbers to rectify some pipe work related to an unvented cylinder installation. Dan was really great in supporting immediately. We contacted Pegasus Plumbers for a quote to replace 3 radiators and install a fourth radiator. We were quickly visited for an in-person quote, which was in line with our other quotes. They had availability to start a week later. We were very impressed by such a professional job. Alex took measures to protect the floor from damage and all mess was cleared up. James has done a few small plumbing jobs for us at our business premises and has just completed our downstairs loo refit at home. He is always brilliant and we would highly recommend him. He is friendly, efficient, reasonably priced and endlessly patient in explaining all the options. He was very flexible on timings and worked around exactly what we needed. We will be booking him to come back and do the bathroom as soon as possible!

There’s a reason why it’s so hard to book James! From start to finish, James is professional, friendly and, above all, he takes so much pride in his work. Upon visiting the company he recommended for the fixtures and fittings, it’s clear that he has earned a lot of respect from other professionals too. Our bathroom looks fantastic and the tiling is perfect. It was fascinating watching the whole process and especially the precision of his tiling work. I couldn’t have asked for a better result!

Mid-2021: In 2021, we had several plumbing jobs completed by James including fitting a kitchen tap, bathroom tap and fitting a sink waste. James came out and priced the work as agreed and came back with a competitive price. He arrived to do the work on time and did a brilliant job. Great communication, friendly, professional and all work done to a very high standard. Highly recommended. We're looking forward to him working on a bigger project later in the year. Late 2021: Well, our second project is complete and James has done a fantastic job. We are so pleased. Workmanship second to none. Another competitive price and all work to very high standard and on time. Every plumber should strive to be like James. Many thanks again. Look forward to you returning for project #3 in May 2022. Mid 2022: we’ve recently had James back to renovate our main bathroom. As with the cloakroom, James did a fantastic job. The work was completed professionally, to the quoted price and on time. As James encountered small problems imposed by our previous bathroom and non-square walls, he discussed options with us and the end result was fantastic. Cannot recommend enough.

From the very start James was always on time, responsive to every call and reliable. One of the most professional trades people I have met - ensuring the work area was tidied every single day, to changing his plans to suit when our bathroom design changed. Never made a fuss even if some of the workload increased and took any issues in his stride. James kept us updated throughout the build with progress and anything he found which needed input he made sure he spoke to us to confirm. The standard of James’s work is extremely high and we now have a bathroom to be proud of. I cannot recommend James enough. I would gladly use him again and wish there were more like him out there.

Angel's Plumbing Ltd replaced our leaking bath taps, hoses and valves. His work was quick, efficient and professional. He kept me informed every step of the way, so I could see exactly what he was doing. He also took great care to ensure no leaks remained. He even helped me finish off some plumbing work that I was doing at the same time. The communications from his partner before and after were excellent! She was the first to respond to my Check-a-Trade job request. The labour estimate was accurate and the quote was the lowest of all four responding companies. I would not hesitate to use Angel again and would highly recommend him to others.

Angel is fantastic and I highly recommend him. He will see you as soon as he is able, and is very positive in finding out what the problem is and how best to fix it. I have used him twice for emergencies and both times he has been prompt and helpful. Both times he had the issues fixed same day and the problem has not recurred. He is friendly and will explain exactly what the situation is and what he is doing. Very fair pricing too. He's my go-to guy now.

Angel responded to a check a trade request. His partner got in contact and explained everything and made sure it was a time that suited us. Angel fitted new pipe work, water and waste pipe for a washing machine. Angel was very friendly and explained what he was doing and the options I had. Would highly recommend his services and would use him again for any future plumbing needs.

Food is always worth the wait to get in. You cannot book a table here so it's first come first served from what I can gather. The food is amazing here. The Christmas Turkey burger was so tasty and well worth getting as a limited time menu item! Brilliant service and attentive staff made for a great experience with such a large table of people. We didn't have a reduction in quality of service as a result of the larger group size.

Food was defiantly worth the wait and came out nice and quickly. Tables near the door are very drafty and cold when it’s a windy day and after a 45 minute wait it’s not ideal. Service overall was good just felt there could have been a few more smiles and happy chatty faces.

Another great venue in Romsey. If you want an evening meal, go to The Old House at Home. If you want breakfast, come here. Such an epic menu. You've got your classics, you've got your sweet breakfasts and you've got your American breakfasts. For me, it had to be a milkshake and chicken and pancakes...which was very good, almost as good as the real thing in Kansas City. Staff were super friendly, and the prices were good too!

As a DIYer (the good type!), I went in to try and get some replacement parts for a nasty bodge job a previous owner did, after recently moving into a new house and the chap behind the counter was more than happy to discuss the issue and come up with the best solution. Their range isn’t the greatest I’ll admit but they’re by no means unhelpful and their slightly higher prices than Screwfix/Toolstation are justified for the knowledgable service.

Very impressed with the service here. Friendly chap took his time to discuss failed close couple joint and siphon. And provided a clearly better alternative. Lots of very good advice on fitting. Lovely tearoom, with friendly staff. Food was really good and there was plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices too. The table on the far side is on the uneven part of the floor which gives a strange dizzy feel (similar to the upside down house we recently visited! 😅), so we asked to be moved, which they kindly did.

Just back from a lovely visit here. 2 breakfasts, tea, 2 cake and an Oreo milk shake all for £28. Great service and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Happy Sunday! Edit! My wife told me I must tell you about the bubble and squeak! She added it to her breakfast and enjoyed every bit! We will be back!

My 90 year old mum wanted to come here as one of her first times out for something to eat since the pandemic started 2 years ago. The LTS is a well decorated clean tea shop. Its upstairs so hidden away. The stairs are steep but mum managed as there was a rail. Good strong cups of tea and an excellent breakfast choice with many variations possible so it worked well for the 4 of us .Prices are good and so exceptional value especially as the breakfast was good.

I called the practice at 9 am on Monday morning to register as a client and book my cat in for an appointment. We were in with the vet just over an hour later. All the staff were friendly and the vet Alison was excellent. Very happy cat and owner. I would recommend the practice.

I needed an electrical installation report for insurance purposes. I sent a contact form to Nick and got a response within hours. During the inspection it was found that we needed a new consumer board and associated works to a secondary unit. Nick was prompt with his quote and once excepted made a date to do the work. He kept in touch and when the day arrived was on time. He was very friendly and professional throughout and insisted on cleaning up even though there was very little mess. Overall a fantastic job and reasonably priced too. I would definitely recommend him for any electrical work.

Nick and his co-worker Michael came out to us to undertake various electrical work, mainly a new fuse box, testing the electrics around the house and additional light fittings. Very competent, talked us through the process and what would be best for us. The estimate he provided was very competitive and very detailed — explaining exactly what we were getting and why (especially where the fuse box was concerned). Work was carried out to a high standard and completed very promptly, we had seen several electricians prior to Nick but he was so friendly, straightforward and knowledgeable it was a no-brainier to go with him. Would highly recommend and will 100% use Nick again for our electrical needs.

Nick is one of those rare "finds". One that you don't want to share with others - because he will get even more busy! Excellent, neat work undertaken at a fair price. Nick works hard and very efficiently. He is clean and tidy, and can be trusted to just get on with it. He has undertaken a variety of work for me, from basic external power points to new consumer units and circuits. This has included working out and expediting some complex runs in heavy duty cabling for a sauna and air conditioning system. Always a pleasure to have him here! Nick was the last in a line of three electricians we found to fit out our new extension. He was the only one that showed up when he said he would, delivered a cost estimate when he said he would that was clear and transparent. Nick did a superb job of the installation having advised us on the way about what would work and what wouldn’t, finished it on time and to budget and it all worked as specified. What more could you ask for? All done with commensurate professionalism and a friendly demeanour. Thank you Nick. A great job done by that increasingly rare of species; someone who cares about his customer.
