I got Keith and Callum in to sort out 3 minor electrical problems (they weren't minor to me!). They came on time and sorted them all out quickly and professionally. Everything works! Nice people and the work was reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

I used Joule Electrical to fit a new outside light, additional garage lighting and replace some existing light fitting. Adrian is very meticulous to detail and made sure that I was happy with each part of the work before he completed. He never tried to rush any part of the job and made safe works that others had left, keeping me well informed each time he found an issue. After completing the works he made sure that I was completely happy with each part the installation, talked me through everything that he had done. After completing he made sure the house was left clean and tidy. The finished works were to the highest of quality and the cost more than reasonable for the amount of time spent. I cannot recommend highly enough and will definitely be using his services again.

Highly recommended! I've used Joule Electrical for a few of jobs around our home recently and have been very pleased with the work (new switch, PAT tests, and a complete home electrics test). Adrian is reliable, trustworthy and always does a great job - we'll certainly use him in the future.

Adrian came out to us a few hours after I rang, panicking about a light that I'd tried to fit. It was far more complicated than I expected and beyond my capabilities. He fitted the light quickly, efficiently, and cleanly. Reasonably priced as well. Top marks 👌

Best takeaway breakfast I’ve had for ages, the eggs Benedict was absolutely delicious!! Friendly & helpful service, one of the guys even helped me with the coffees to my car. Wish I could have this tasty breakfast every weekend, so will definitely be back next time we visit Standish.

Just used Faze for all the electrical work on a new kitchen fit and refurb plus numerous add ons security lights, outside sockets and Hive to name a few. Great workmanship, very professional and tidy. Nothing too much trouble for Sean and Connor. Highly recommend.

Faze completed a full rewire on a 5 bedroom detached property we had purchased. Sean and Conor were extremely reliable, trustworthy and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble even when we had to change the plans after they had spent hours fishing cables in some of the walls. We are genuinely grateful to Sean and Connor for making a difficult project as painless as possible. Orchid House in Appley Bridge is an absolute gem! We had sausage and bacon on toast, a latte, a banana milkshake, and their standout speciality—a three-layer chicken club sandwich. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The latte was rich and smooth, and the banana milkshake was delightfully creamy. The chicken club sandwich was a real treat—layered to perfection and so satisfying. The atmosphere is cosy, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Called in today for the first time for lunch with my little boy and a friend. What a lovely place! The staff our lovely and friendly, the students are very professional, hard working and very helpful. The cafe was clean and inviting, the food was tasty and portion sizes were spot on. We had a lovely dinner at Orchid House Coffee Shop today. We had a Sausage & Reedy's chutney and a Club Sandwich, both were delicious. They were followed by a raspberry brownie and a slice of frangipane cake, again both delicious. The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly, and the service was faultless. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend it to anyone.

Steve came out promptly and found the fault immediately (it wasn't what we thought) but he explained to us what it was and how to deal with it. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. A thoroughly nice man, fair and not expensive. Would recommend him to any one.

Most helpful trades person i have ever called. Really friendly and helped me with the situation over the phone rather than charging me for an emergency call out. I called late on Sunday evening as trying to find an emergency electrician due to burglar alarm that would not stop sounding. He solved the problem over the phone and was so friendly and helpful. I couldn't thank him enough as other places i had called were trying to charge £195 without even asking any detail about the problem. I would highly recommend this professional service. I will be using their services in future. Many thanks!

Arrived promptly, diagnosed the fault, no pushy sales, very helpful and knowledgeable, replaced the alarm box at a good price and did a good job. Also, set up some extra alarm programmes for the different alarm zones. Great service at great value.

I used E4 Systems after getting recommendations on a local Facebook group. The communication is great — I contacted over Messenger and received replies straight away. After an emergency call out sorted my immediate problem I booked further work with E4. All staff were great — arrived when they said they would, polite and friendly and didn’t make a mess! Very safety conscious too. Fully recommended!

Excellent service, I had a free emergency call out, very quick to respond, definitely honest as I thought there was a major issue but it turned out a quick fix was all that was required and fees were more than reasonable. Very friendly, I have asked them to return to install some security lighting and will definitely be recommending to friends as a good electrician has always been hard to find!

Valletta was recommended to me by another local business when I asked where I could find a great cup of coffee locally, and their recommendation couldn't have been better. One of the best cups of coffee I've had in a long time, and a delicious cookie. I can tell that this coffee shop is very popular locally, and justifiably so. The owner, an extremely beautiful Palestinian lady was kind enough to chat with me about her country for long after she should have shut up shop and kicked me out. This alone made the visit far more memorable and significant. Regardless of the excellent conversation, visit if only for the superb coffee and delicious cakes!

What a friendly reception I got at this place. I let them know I was vegan and they made me a falafel wrap with hummus from their invention and enthusiasm. They’ve got customers too returning I saw. Probably as they’re so friendly. Well done.

I recently visited this restaurant for lunch with friends, the restaurant is incredibly spacious, which made for a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The decor and vibe were on point. The staff was super friendly, and we were served incredibly quickly. The food was absolutely delicious! I even checked out the menu before leaving and already know what I’m going to try next time. This is definitely a spot I’ll be recommending to friends and family!

Olive garden continues to be THE best Italian in the area. The food is always fantastic and I come about once a month so have had plenty of the dishes. The service is always amazing, the staff are always welcoming and accommodating. Forever will be one of my all time favourite restaurants and I could not recommend it enough. 🩷

Modern restaurant, nice decor. Friendly and efficient staff. Quick service, both of drinks and food. I chose three tapas and that was easily enough for me. Probably best chorizo (with prawns) one that I have ever had, and that includes in Spain.

Excellent meal relaxed atmosphere and very friendly service. There was a very good wide ranging selection of vegetarian meals which is very unusual but very appreciated. The quality of the neat and fish was also reported to be extremely good. We will definitely visit again

Lovely place, took my daughter for her birthday, she’s pescatarian and there was a good choice for her. We had the roast beef Sunday lunch which was really well cooked and pink as we like it. My daughter had the herb crusted cod which looked lovely, she cleared her plate. Wine was of good quality, all in all a brilliant place for a special occasion. Portions are very big and I couldn’t finish mine regretfully as it was delicious.

Nice place to visit for a selection of pizza pasta plated steaks and chicken dishes good value on Sundays when they do a 2 course for £24 or 3 courses for £30 good choices on the menu to choose from the place is small and well presented it was quiet cold as we were near the door so best to sit on the right wall to protect from this as the door was open a lot of the time but we had a lovely meal and would recommend a visit best to reserve a table as it does get busy. Staff are helpful and friendly and the food we had was cooked and presented beautifully.
