The most amazing pub, we stayed in the area for a few nights and this was the local pub. Staff are super friendly and helped us find local places to explore. Highly recommend popping in for drinks or food. Lovely atmosphere. Also dog friendly !!

Best pint of Guinness I’ve had! Brilliant bar staff, lovely owners. Absolutely cracking place. Bringing back cask and the pub to its full glory. Since Helen took over the pub is now absolutely buzzing.. it's clean it's back to how the pub should be!

Very nice atmosphere lots of interesting things to look at inside old historical pictures funny quotes bar memorabilia. Friendly staff plenty of room and corners for your own space. Lots of selection on the bar also and customer toilet too. Car park at back and decent outside sitting area. Also several screens with sports on. Very good

First time as just started working in Adlington. Portions are good sized and freshly made as well as being reasonably priced. I had a cheese sandwich with a side order of double-cooked chunky chips and a pot of tea for under £10. Enjoyed itand would definitely go again.

Really nice cafe. Staff all friendly and the food is lovely. My partner has been off work with an injury and on crutches and the staff went above and beyond to help her and made her feel very welcome.

I have had a full dentures and the procedure was very good going through letting me try them when they were made in wax which did feel quite good but once the dentures were finished they felt very narrow in my mouth and kept pinching my tongue. I feel like I can’t return as it’s just too late to change this problem. Compared to my old dentures there is a big difference in the space across. I’m also having trouble with the bite I have been back for this problem once and the way they used a grinding tool left the denture very rough which I polished out when I got home. I do worry that if the hard point of the denture are ground away then they wear quicker and to avoid this I have just put up with the way they are but the way the bite is at the moment makes the top denture drop at the back which makes them not secure when eating. The staff at Synergy are all very friendly and helpful and I feel it’s my problem for not realising that they were not correct at the time of fitting. I did decide to go and tell them of the problems that I was experiencing and they are making me a new dentures I’m so pleased with the great staff and service I received with synergy Adlington I would highly recommend using them. The second set of dentures has been finished. I was quite pleased when I first tried them in. They were wider and felt a lot better only the top seemed a little prominent, The bottom set seemed too high and close in my mouth which I did say when I was having them fitted. The denture flange, which was pressing on the side of my inside jawbone, caused excruciating pain after a short time of having them in it was so bad that I had to remove them and go back to my old dentures. I returned to explain the problem, and they used a burr bit that removed some of the pressure. I put them back in, and off I went. Within a short period, I attempted to eat, but the pressure on the same spot was too severe to use the bottom set. I decided to see if I could adjust it myself. So, the only thing to do was to take the denture flange up to just above the inside jawbone. When I did this, I was very surprised to discover that the denture base was not even in touch with my gum, making me think that the impression that was taken was not correct. The bottom denture was very unstable. I got a product to do a re-line, but the way it felt was like there was a gap between the denture and my gums. The re-line filled in the void and made the denture secure. I made another appointment to return to show my findings, and the dentist decision was to remove the re-line I had done and to do a soft re-line in the lab. I went back to collect the denture and was asked to go into the bathroom to try it in. I did this, and it did feel like it fits a lot better, but the only problem was that the denture flange was still short, leaving what feels like a void that runs from the front to the back on one side the reline material seems very soft and not happy with the finish also still did not feel correctly in my mouth the bottom denture has been made to high and to close it feels like a wall so my tongue is against it all the time. The price I paid for this service makes me feel very disappointing with the end result.

I recently lost a filling that was done last year. I contacted Synergy and was seen the next day. An appointment was then made to replace the filling. This time I was treated by Becky who was absolutely amazing. Like a lot of people I'm fairly nervous when it comes to the dentist. Becky was understanding and calm, explained everything she was doing and how long it was going to take. She has done an amazing job with this filling, taking the time to ensure my bite isn't affected and that everything was in good order. This was all done under warranty. Highly recommended.

I honestly couldn’t recommend the team at Synergy Dental enough! The care that Dr Sana, Kelly and Dan gave me was second to none. They went out of their way to make me completely comfortable during my appointments, all different options were thoroughly explained, with an honest opinion of what they felt was right for me to get the best outcome. They have given me my confidence back and I couldn’t be more thankful to them!

Lovely staff - good food . Would have been 5* but the asparagus and oarma ham - turned up with no poached egg - was returned with a fried egg?@"# really -chef was out of order with that !! Other than that, good food at hood prices - with good service to boot ! I'm happy to recommend-but watch for the egg !!

Fantastic food, restaurant is beautifully clean and was so atmospheric for Valentines Day - even left a free rose to take home on the tables. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Excellent range of menu choices. The meats are all high end and well cooked. Vegetarian options available, all very healthy and flavoursome. Very impressed and will be back again.

Had the most wonderful evening at this restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed staff are really nice. Food is amazing. Food is a mix of Mediterranean. We all chose steaks which were cooked to perfection. Portions are huge! Sticky Toffee pudding was the best I’ve ever tasted. Well done guys I’m so glad this place was recommended to us.

I recently visited Synergy Dental in Bolton for a hygiene treatment and was extremely impressed with the service. Dr. Bilal Salim was exceptional; he was thorough, gentle, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. My teeth have never felt cleaner! The absolute best dental practice to go to if you have any anxiety. My dentist Robin is very compassionate and empathetic and always takes great care with my well being. His dental work is outstanding and you can tell that the oral health of his patients really matters to him. Extremely happy!! My granddaughter has complex needs Thelma and Robyn were very clear and informative and made her feel very safe and at ease with the whole process .Thelma is extremely professional and definitely top of her game when performing root canals and crowns.Excellent team work ! I needed three root canal fillings and was very nervous and anxious about having this done. Thelma was recommended to me as she is one of the best at root canal treatment and so glad I went ahead with it. She was so lovely, very reassuring, I felt I was in safe hands, she and Robyn kept checking on me during the treatment and have to say I didn’t feel a thing, it didn’t take too long and felt no pain afterwards. Thank you both for looking after me! I have attended this dental practice for many years now and had fantastic treatment with Baba, Robin and Kate the hygienist. The receptionists are all lovely and friendly and no problem getting appointments. Highly recommend.

Lovely visit today with my parents. Dad is in a wheelchair so I pooped my head in first to check the access and the staff went out of their way so help us and show the accessible entrance. The inside is really well decorated, plus you are surrounded by lovely golf course. The food was lovely. But it’s the staff that made our visit, so friendly, helpful and efficient. We just had breakfast today but will be back to sample the lunches and cakes. It’s also dog friendly so I’ll bring my furry friend next time

I attended a wedding at The Hawthorns last weekend as the couple’s Master of Ceremonies. The welcome, support & kindness shown to me from Dawn, Amy & their team was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. They were attentive, provided a super service to my wedding guests and went above and beyond to ensure the bride & groom had a perfect day. Thank you also to the Head Chef & his hardworking staff in the kitchen. Delicious dishes, well presented and piping hot! I even had the opportunity to sample the vegetarian main course. It was sumptuous and plentiful. The whole experience for all the suppliers and guests was truely memorable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend The Hawthorns as the ideal wedding venue. Beautiful gardens, relaxed atmosphere, comfortable event space, approachable, delightful managers and staff. Looking forward to returning. ❤️🌟

Been a couple times now, really nice service and atmosphere. Your basic cafe food but cakes are really good. Just wish it wasn’t at quiet, would like to try afternoon tea here.
