I've used Dorset Electrical many time, from simple light switch change to a complete loft rewire. Always on time, tidy and professional. Good advice always given and never any issues with the work. I wouldn't go anywhere else for any electrical work.

Yup, the good reviews are on point. Gavin & his team did a full rewire of my house, and every aspect of working with him was A1. Starting with a detailed and fair quote; he made great suggestions that I hadn't thought of; the works, and communications were done well and on time; he was flexible to changes in my plans....generally speaking, he has a great attitude, so all-in-all I could relax and trust that the job was in good hands.

Always been delighted with the work from Dorset Electrical. Our house isn't easy at times, with lathe and plaster walls Mark, our regular electrician has always managed to find a way to do the job neatly and in good time.

I have used Gavin and his team for some outside lighting installation on an Aircraft Hangar at Bournemouth Airport which I am very satisfied with. Dorset Electrical are an excellent choice for industrial electrical installation requirements. From start to finish very professional and safe at all times and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

I have used Dorset electrical in the last couple of months for an extension on my house . I found Gavin and his team very professional and helpful and nothing was ever a problem. They made the job stress free and the work is of the highest quality.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Despite Richard’s work van breaking down in the morning he could of easily postponed the installation of our EV charger for another day, but he sorted out another van keeping us informed all the time and carried out the work later on in the day. Really friendly guy and would highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great service, our electric went off and the trip switch would not come back on. Called 1st class electrical, he was very helpful and arrived within 10 minutes and he found the issue and it was sorted within 30 minutes. Will definitely use again if needed

We were in the area and booked lunch with relatively short notice. Having never been before we were all very impressed and so glad we did. Great food, great service and a lovely country pub. If we lived closer, The White Horse would quickly become our regular. We even spoke about visiting the area again, simply to come back here!

We were staying in down for my birthday. I looked on Google for somewhere for a Sunday roast. Reviews looked good. Have yo say best roast I have had out. Well done to all the team who were working extremely hard to give good service and good food. Lady taking our payment said they do similar midweek. Give it a try.

The staff were very attentive , accommodating ( we have 2 toddlers) , and friendly we could not fault it . Im glad we booked as they called back to say we left a changing bag , where would we be without that!! We shared the platter for 2 and the food was insane! i could have had a whole bowl of the pork with that dirty mash it was sooo good. If youre staying anywhere within 15 miles of this place its def worth the trip if youre a foodie.

Found by chance when perusing the menu of a more expensive establishment. Inside was too busy for nine of us but in the small yet quaint courtyard we managed to shuffle a few tables together to accommodate our needs. The food was delicious and reasonably priced... the pot of tea was enormous and required a strong arm to lift and pour! The staff were very friendly especially one gentleman in particular who instigated much banter. Would definitely visit again... highly recommended.

On a recent trip to Bridport we were introduced to the Green Yard. Great coffee, fabulous food (generous portions) and wonderful friendly service. We went back 3 times! Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing place, vibrant staff very friendly everyone, little bit outdated rooms, would go with a lick of paint here and there, although completely comfortable beds. Breakfast average but dinner/lunch was absolutely top!

We attended their New Year’s Eve Party. From start to finish it could not have been better. Great Music, Staff were fantastic and the party food was plenty full and good quality. It was in the great Barn which is amazing and I think would be a good venue for weddings. We’ll be back next year.

Haselbury Mill is one of those venues that I’ve always admired (especially after my wife and I got married at HM in 2017), and I’m delighted to have weddings booked there in 2025 and 2026. This venue is a photographer’s paradise, offering stunning backdrops with its lush grounds, serene ponds, and beautifully designed interiors. The attention to detail in every aspect of the venue is simply remarkable. The couples I’ll be working with are so excited to celebrate their big day here, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to capture their love stories in such a magical setting. We had a fantastic overnight stay on our way to Cornwall. Amazing food and drink in the evening, a lovely comfortable room and a superb breakfast in the morning. Brilliant service and a fabulous location. Will definitely be back!
