Such an inviting shop!! Friendly atmosphere and perfect for a drink and cake! Child was asleep so didnt have to share my gorgeous cake either!! Grabbed myself a bottle of wine and some beer for the other half too. Perfect!!

An asset to the village. A lovely friendly well-stocked shop, serving good tea and coffee, cakes and snacks, local fresh produce.There is also an excellent delivery service. They are happy to host a regular meat supplier on their forecourt. What more could a village want?

Visited this delightful little shop/cafe on Monday and had a cheese and ham toastie and a piece of fresh strawberries and cream sponge cake and a latte absolutely lovely the staff were very friendly helpful and attentive lovely little establishment.I visited again this afternoon while waiting for a tarmac lorry for coffee and cake I had a piece of absolutely delicious lemon drizzle cake and we were served by a very lovely young woman again very friendly and attentive would definitely visit again if in the area and would recommend to others

We had a thoroughly enjoyable and delicious dining experience at the Clockspire Restaurant this evening. Food was excellent along with the service. The old school building has been beautifully restored and creates a delightful surrounding and atmosphere, complimenting the whole experience. This has just become my favorite restaurant. We shall return.

Oh my! ♥ What a magical experience visiting The Clockspire was. Where do I begin to describe the care and detail oozing from both the staff and the food, it truly is clear to see, even the toilet hand towels were folded beautifully! We decided to opt for an expensive treat due to a special birthday, but the restaurant also offers a very affordable day menu, so I would recommend for both a stunning meal out and for celebrating occasions.

Really nice experience. The decor inside was very appealing and comfortable. Went for the 3 course set menu and the food was very well presented and had a lot of flavour. Waiters/waitresses polite and attentive. Will recommend to friends/family.

The night transformed into an epic adventure, with food that could rival any gourmet joint, a great beverage selection and an atmosphere that had me wondering if Hogwarts' enchantment spilled over to this corner. The live music by the Wonky Donkeys? Let's just say they added more magic than a wand-waving wizard. We stopped by this lovely little outdoor cafe before setting off back home after a weekend in the area, and I’m so glad we did. Staff were super friendly, the cakes and drinks were really tasty and the atmosphere was chilled. Would definitely visit again when we’re back in the area and I highly recommend. X

Wonderful cafe. Lo made us very welcome which is especially appreciated as not all cafes like mountain bikers. She set aside a table for us. The cafe was wonderfully warm, while the weather outside was freezing. The food was excellent & the coffee especially good. We had a great time and we will be back

We brought a house with 12 solar panels just over a month ago. We knew the panels were not serviced or cleaned since installed 10 years ago (2013) We reached out to DES Ltd who completed a full service and cleaning service. Really pleased with the work carried out to install 2 x extractors and a PIV unit. The work was much more involved than first thought, and the poor guy was working in our loft on the hottest day of the year! But he returned a second day to finish up and the original price was honoured. A pleasure having you in our home and feeling the benefits of the extractors and PIV as soon as they were turned on!

What a lovely surprise 30th meal for my partners birthday. Gabriela is such an amazing host, couldn’t thank her enough for all her help with organising. The food was outstanding! Fantastic meal - everything delicious but the highlights were a goats cheddar mousse, lamb with Jerusalem artichokes and a beetroot sticky toffee pudding. Lovely vibe - busy but you can hear each other speak, great art on the walls and friendly service. Wish I lived nearer for this to be my local!

I came across this restaurant by chance when in Sherborne. The food was absolutely delicious. I had a starter and main dish. The duck was superb - so tasty and delicious. The service was really good too. I will come back again with my husband next time. I haven't tasted such delicious food in a long time. 😊

Decent lunch. I would have preferred a bit less of the “brulee” and a bit more crab meat, maybe with a bit of a citrus twist. We saved our bread and butter that came out at the start as it does need that. The meat (chicken and duck) were good quality but maybe lacked a bit of seasoning. Fries were tasty.

Such a lovely find. Such friendly service and the fish and chips were some of the best I’ve eaten. I usually find fish quite bland but this was so crispy and mooreish! Big potions too! Just a brilliant find ! 😃 We were a bit late but they were so helpful and fresh cooked our fish suppers while we waited! I say waited. .. actually they sent us to the pub for a swift half!! Great fish and chips. Don't be put off by the decor or outside appearance. This is proper old school fish and chips, some of the best you will find away from the coast and always first stop on a trip to Sherborne!

The food here is really delicious. I had a “porky burger” which was one of the best burgers I’ve had. The inside is very small with not a lot of seating but they do take away. Unique place in Sherborne but slightly on the pricier side - I think the quality of the food was worth it

Lovely pub with friendly and welcoming staff. Ample drinks on offer and beautiful beer garden. We shared some of the snacks from the menu and they were all delicious! Highly recommend the croquettes and ploughman's board. Cozy snug area and the landlady will happily start a fire in the huge fireplace. We will be back whenever we are in the area, which will hopefully be soon! Your Welshie friends x

Visited the pub as a group of 8 friends, the staff were friendly, helpful and worked together well as a team. The pub is beautifully rustic, a nice old country pub with a lounge bar, bar area and restaurant. Nicely decorated with lovely flagstone floors and a raging fire in the lounge. They have a good selection of drinks and varied menu. For pub grub the food was next level, personally I had the beef shin ragu which was absolutely delicious. Overall, loved it, I just wish it was my local instead of being 3 hours away! Well done guys.
