The Best Cafes in Kirton, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom (2025)

Love walking through the park and ending up sitting outside Cafe Noglish with a coffee and one of their wonderful cakes or buns. The owners Anna and Mark are lovely and going is one of my favourite weekend treats.

A piece of Scandinavia (Norway) in Boston. A very clean (as you might expect) modern establishment, with very friendly staff. I'm only drinking coffee at the moment.. It won't be long before I start on those fantastic cakes and pastries. 5 stars and can definitely recommend a visit.

Boston are so lucky to have this place. Warm inviting and friendly service, delicious freshly baked cakes. And the decor and displays are amazing! Pay them a visit you will be a regular customer!

The Bløt (pronounced Blurt) cake is just the best. Light, refreshing,,,, beautiful.

My sister and I wanted to try somewhere new for lunch in Boston. After searching for highly rated cafes, we found this little gem. The Greenhouse Coffee shop is a small coffee shop and unless you know where it it, is easily missed. However, if you find it, go in and have a toastie! They use their own award winning chilli jam! Also they serve stokes coffee, which is a great coffee! There may have only been one server doing everything, however, he was attentive and everything was delicious. If you get the chance, go and visit. 🙏🏻

Very cute back street coffee shop in the heart of Boston. We had the butterfly pea latte, the vanilla chai and the brie, bacon, homemade chilli jam & rocket toastie with a little salad (it would of been nice with some dressing). Delicious food and the drinks were really good, my daughter said it was the best vanilla chai she's had! We will definitely be visiting again to try one of the very tempting cakes/brownie's.

Back for a second day after such a great experience. The food is beautiful and the coffee delicious. Excellent spot to take a book and forget about the world for a moment or two.

First time visit. Loved this quaint place. Beautiful decorated and spotlessly clean. Ordered 2 chai lattes, served with a smile. Best chai lattes we've had for a while. Decided to take away some homemade chilli jam, which we ate with a selection of cheeses at home. Delicious!! We will be back!!

I'm from California and have had lots of breakfast burritos. Their vegetarian breakfast burrito with Hallumi was delicious. I was worried it would be dry or bland without traditional salsa but they have a nice tomato based sauce that addressed those concerns. I've eaten shashuka in NYC and SF and this place made the best one. My husband is from here and loved the full English breakfast with local sausage (I call em Lincoln Logs). Such great staff and bridge views too.

Recently myself and my family and I have been to this cafe shop and I must say that it was absolutely beautiful. The staff are friendly,respectful, and very welcoming. The food is delicious ! The location is beautiful and clean and the service is very good! I highly recommend this place! 🥰🥰🥰

Lovely busy place, tried the biggest breakfast and it was great. Dog friendly inside too, plenty of outside seating.

Stopped here to get a coffee and so pleased we did. The coffee latte was very smooth and nice and the cafe was clean and very well presented. I'm not really keen on fresh food being exposed to all and would like to see some sort of cover. Coffee was reasonably priced but we also had 2 small pieces of Rocky Road cake and that was a little steep.... £4 each... Staff were polite and courteous and the owner spent some time explaining how they keep their menu fresh because it's based around what they want to put on the menu so the menu is always updated and keeps it fresh for repeated visits as there will always be something new for you to try. Highly recommend a visit if you are passing this way.v

Nice place, staff excellent, sausage & egg sandwich very good, beverages of the highest quality. Cheapest and best cafe I have called all year. Would recommend all bikers to call in if passing, you won't be disappointed.

Stopped there on my bike the other day, had a coffee (50p) and bacon and egg bap (about £3.00). Lovely it was too. Excellent bacon done crispy like it wanted it. Lovely ladies working there that love bikers. And of course, you can pop into the Sportsbikeshop to have a look at stuff.

Food is excellent, service is friendly and prompt. Definitely a treat to go there

A Hidden Gem at Kirton Cottage! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kirton Cottage, and let me tell you, it was an experience that exceeded all expectations! Tucked away in a charming setting, this little restaurant has all the cozy vibes of a cottage, complete with warm, inviting interiors that make you feel right at home. From the moment I stepped in, the welcoming staff made me feel like part of the family. The two serving ladies were especially delightful—I've never heard "thank you" so many times in one evening! They were genuinely friendly and professional, adding to the classy atmosphere of the place. White tablecloths adorned the tables, setting the stage for a delightful evening. Now, let’s talk about the food—oh my goodness, where do I even begin? Every dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented with flavors that left me in awe. The mushroom and coconut soup was a standout, boasting an original taste that was simply out of this world! The duck was cooked to perfection, just as I wished, and it melted in my mouth. You can tell the chef is not only experienced but also incredibly passionate about their craft. And the service? Just lovely! The serving ladies were attentive and always made sure we were well taken care of. It felt like being pampered without it feeling over the top. All the guests around me were clearly delighted, and I can see why! As for the prices, wow! For such an amazing experience, I expected to pay a premium, but the prices were very reasonable. You definitely get much more than you pay for! I absolutely recommend Kirton Cottage to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. A wonderful evening on NYE. Never eaten there before but it was recommended and oh wow it was fabulous. Can't fault a single thing. Ample portions 😳. I'm a pudding fan so I was gutted I couldn't squeeze another morsel in. Oh well there's always another visit to get that one in me 😁😁. Thank you for a fabulous evening ❤️

Truly lovely meal, excellently cooked and served by a wonderful lady. One of the nicest meals out I’ve had ever. Always book to save your space, especially weekends but we will definitely be back

Lovely pub. We ate in the bar because our friends had their dog with them. Didn't see the restaurant area but hopefully next time. The bar area was fine but not very busy but I'm sure the atmosphere in the restaurant area was better but that's our fault for having a dog with us. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Just had the perfect Sunday dinner at the Black Bull Inn at Kirton, just south of Boston. I booked late but they were able to accommodate us. Good parking. The garden is very tidy with benches. The pub is clean and tidy. We had our order taken almost immediately. The food arrived very quickly and was stacked high on the 🍽️. Choice of roast meats, with gravy served in boat (nice touch). Staff were very friendly and professional. Prices were very fair. The whole thing made a perfect Sunday afternoon. Will go back in the future.

Had my husband's and son's birthday meals here in December, it was lovely. And although it was busy due to the run up to Christmas, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who were nice and friendly. Meals all came at the same time were hot and very tasty. Will definitely visit again.

Popped in for a pint and something to eat, staff looked after me as I was strapped for time and took my order before the kitchen officially opened, the food was tasty and just the right amount, atmosphere was nice. Reasonable prices, have eaten here before and will do again. Thanks for a great experience

Delicious food, freshly cooked and not pretentious. Beautiful old building that's been tastefully restored to a high standard. Service is always excellent too

On Friday 31st May our full wedding ceremony was held at the old kings head... from day 1 of planning our special day to the actual day. Vicky, Nathan and the whole team were amazing. From the booking of guests rooms, which are beautiful rooms. Clean, spacious, comfy lovely decored rooms. The setting up of the barn for our ceremony to converting it into afternoon/evening celebration room was all done perfectly by the staff.. leaving us to relax and enjoy our day with no stress... the whole team at the old kings head are amazing. I cannot recommend this beautiful place enough... thank you to you all for hosting an amazing wedding day for us.. truly amazing xx

Really nice coffee shop, that's dog friendly, lovely food. The only downside is that the menu is limited between 1030 and 12 pm. When lunch starts again, however, the waitress did offer to ask the chef if he would cook me something. Definitely return, and I would recommend it.

The double room in the stable block was compact but fine for two people and a small dog. Fully dog friendly, for £10 payable in the cafe. The room was warm, the shower was superb and the bed comfortable. I like the usb chargers in the mains sockets too. No light over the table was the only minor niggle.
