We visited Weymouth today and it was very windy and sometimes rainy. We looked for somewhere welcoming to eat and spotted this lovely hidden gem. Very cosy and welcoming and excellent food (and cakes if desired). We had a lovely chicken burger dinner, which was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Very good value at £12.00 or thereabouts. Lovely staff and great value. Thank you 😊.

What an amazing coffee shop, a view to die for. It surely can't feel like work for the employee's. The decor is great a rustic vibe with a simple but effective white and blue colour pallet. I enjoyed a lovely cup of tea with what I can only describe as the best Croissant I have ever eaten. They do a small selection Plain, Raspberry, Chocolate, Pistachio and the one I went for Lemon and Vanilla. Crisp on the outside with a lovely moist inner combined with the creamy Lemon & Vanilla filling. Not to much or to little perfect balance of flavour and sweetness. Other treats available including cookies. I will definitely back to try another Croissant. Highly recommended.

At last!!..... Proper cups for their first rate coffee AND the addition of some savoury options! Our filled Parma/Seranno ham croissant was delicious. Rosticcerias were a new concept for me, appearance like a bread roll enveloping a salt beef and cheese filling..again delicious. A full description on the counter will help build clients for these.

Visited this morning with my wife and two children had a very warm welcome from all of the staff including the chef Despite the bad review below the food quality was excellent including the vegetarian breakfast my wife had, plenty of food and amazing value for money A highchair was definitely available as my daughter sat in it, one of the staff even cut my daughters food up for her, I don't think you can get any friendlier than that There wasn't a children's menu that I could see but the chef was very accommodating in making a full meal go between my two children separating the food out for them onto two plates and making sure they didn't have to wait to start eating he made there food as soon as he heard what they were having. Amazing service Very good value Exceptionally friendly

Pleasently surprised to find this cafe. Plenty of seating with exceptionally clean tables etc. Friendly staff with quick service and lovely breakfast. We went big and had their belly buster. It was all fresh, nicely cooked and plenty. Located near to town shops and seafront. Access for pushchair an wheelchairs. Customer toilets and large menu with plenty of choice. Popular with locals so you know is good.

Stopped in after a long train journey and an early start to get some lunch, food was excellent, portions were good and the staff were friendly. Overall a nice clean quiet place to enjoy a good meal. Prices seemed reasonable to me but i am from London.

Beautiful coffee / breakfast place right on the sea front. The staff member was very friendly and listened to what we wanted and even adapted the food for our needs, lots to choose from all cooked to order, we went quite early so wasn't too busy. It was quite pricey for what you got, but I suppose that is in line with other places, and all the food was delicious. There's a toilet for customers too and seating outside the front of the cafe that overlooks the road and sea.

Well presented little breakfast place....a very good variety of food, breakfast niceblittle fundbon the seafront......food was nice just not enough for yhe price could have done with a little bit more....or the option of adding to the breakfast but for where the place is it was ok £9.95 for a large breakfast wasn't really wroth the money could have done with a little bit more

Stopped off for lunch at Bella’s today and WHAT A TREAT! With so many places to choose from and it being our first visit to Weymouth we were sure where to choose but it was nice and busy - always a good sign - and the menu was fab. Attaching some pics of the nachos and the home made burger. Great portions for amazing prices. You can tell the food is homemade with love and care, everything was delicious. They are also catering for gluten free and dairy free so to be able to order without worry was a real delight you can’t find in many places. Wondering where to eat in Weymouth? Absolutely definitely choose this gem!

We went to Custom House Cafe for a lovely breakfast this morning. The full English was good and my husband was very happy. I had smashed avocado with poached eggs on toasts. It was delicious too. The coffees were nice and we were early (9ish in the morning) so there weren’t much traffic on the road while we were sat outside. We got to enjoy to lovely view across the other side of the harbour.

Very tasty brunch! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The iced coffee was lovely too. It was pretty busy, which is always a good sign, but the staff was so lovely and we didn’t have to wait too long. Highly recommend this place! It's my new go-to spot whenever I’m visiting Weymouth and fancy a brekkie or brunch! I will definitely try lunch next time. We also got seats outside, which was very nice. The meat sausages and bacon were fresh, and everything was top standard.

This is our go to place for deli’s food, hot drinks and ice cream in the summer. Opted for the ‘winter warmer’, Hot Turkey Baguette with a side dish of frittata fries. Homemade coleslaw accompanied the warm and moist baguette that was totally delicious. It was a filling meal and the americano hot drink was also accompanied with a homemade star shaped ginger biscuit. Service was excellent and the staff are always very polite. This is also a dog friendly cafe.

Lovely traditional cafe, actually opens early enough for breakfast (most cafes seem to open at 9 or even 10 in mid-September). Starts getting really busy around 9, so best to go slightly earlier. Service is wonderful, the staff made us feel so welcome we went back the following day. Food was good and substantial, nothing fancy, but good stuff and good prices. Jacket potatoes for breakfast fueled us for a long hike in the sun, and the egg custard tart was wonderful: light and not too sweet!

Been going to this cafe since i was around 9 years old whilst down on holidays, i am now 36 and local ish and visit pretty much every saturday! Great home cooked food and deserts, and the owners are lovely and make you feel at home, keep up the great work guys

Me and my friend were really hungry and we couldn't find anywhere near us that wasn't crazy busy but then we stumbled across this lovely cafe! We had an afternoon tea for two they were very patient with us and the food was lush definitely recommend and will be coming again soon!

I tried their large breakfast which was really nice. Everything was cooked perfectly for me, exactly as I like it. The portion size was generous and a very nice coffee too. A very nice cafe with friendly staff and the food was of a good quality but I was taken aback by the quantity. I’ve had many an English breakfast and I’m sorry but this didn’t justify the price by any means. To make a comparison I’ll show a breakfast from one of my local cafe’s. My local - Full English (they do a larger one and two smaller ones) - 2 Bacon, 2 Sausage, 2 Eggs, Beans, Tomatoes, Hash Brown, Black Pudding, Burger, Mushrooms, 2 Toast or Bread and Butter, Tea or Coffee - price £6.95. Muffins - Full Breakfast (as opposed to the smaller ‘standard breakfast) - 1 Rasher of Bacon, 1 Sausage, Hash Brown, Mushrooms, Beans, 2 Eggs, Black Pudding, Grilled Tomato, 1 Fried Bread, 1 Toast - £9.50. I can’t recall the price of a coffee but that would have taken it to £12+, maybe £13. Ive never before seen a full breakfast with just one sausage and one rasher of bacon. Food quality 5 - Food quantity 3 - hence my 3 stars.

I always avoid giving 5 stars to places as I always think that there’s room to improve… but The Cactus Tea Rooms is almost perfection! There is no justifiable reason to not give this place 5 stars. The food is amazing. Burgers are homemade and delicious, and the portions are massive for their price! The service is swift and amazing. One waitress was so careful with our dietary requirements, making sure everything was alright. She was kind, caring, and made the experience amazing. Food and drink came out in a reasonable amount of time. The atmosphere was calm and nice. It was lovely. One small point of development… the chips weren’t always crispy. But that was very small, and isn’t enough to remove 1 full star from the overall rating. Highly recommend you come. Lovely location in a busy area. Fast & friendly service. The portland crab sandwich that I had was excellent. Nice thick sliced brown bread with chunky pieces of crab in a tasty mayonnaise sauce. A greater selection of sandwiches and toasties were available.
