I had lost faith in ever getting a decent haircut ever again, until I went here. The guy was absolutely brilliant, listened to me when I explained my lifestyle, took into consideration that I have a whirly bit of hair that no-one has managed before. Best experience I've ever had at a hairdressers. Reasonable prices. The lady before me looked absolutely stunning when she walked out. Nicely decorated salon. Opposite the church, so parking on both sides of the road. I will always go back to get my haircut done here.

Could not recommend Peter highly enough; I get nervous going new places but he put me immediately at ease, we discussed what style I wanted and he made sure the whole way through that I was happy with everything he was doing. I am thrilled!

Cannot recommend hairlistics highly enough, always come away happy with my cut/colour. Peter has styled my hair for my wedding and more recently my daughters for her wedding. So many lovely comments from guests.

Love coming here, a really lovely bunch of ladies, Trish knows I always like sparkle on my nails 💅 and points out the one's that I would like, reflexology is bliss and so therapeutic~ would totally recommend Jello 😊

Great place, nice friendly girls. Becky did a restyle went in with long hair, came out with a nice short cut and blow dry. Reasonable price too, will go back.

I always have Natalie at Serenity do my hair and she is the best hairdresser I have ever had by far. She is very good on colour, just knowing exactly what suits you and is just fantastic at cutting. Also she is so nice and always makes you welcome.

Had a wash cut and blow dry here today by the girl with brown hair..first time in a salon to have my hair done and will defo return lovely hair wash , products smell amazing and I was nervous for nothing as the bangs I got cut in are perfect,,,thanks girls 🥰

Even though I did not have my hair done at Pennys Hair, I would recommend the friendly and helpful staff when I arrived for a wedding at the church opposite and needed to use the toilet. They could not have more understanding and would therefore highly recommend the staff. 5*

Penny's is an excellent local salon offering a wide range of Hair and Beauty services. We moved to the area in 2022 and have used Penny's since we moved. It is a friendly local hub and we highly recommend it.

I would just like to express and show my appreciation to one of the ladies at this salon called Rebecca. I was so nervous about going to a new hair salon with having a negative experience elsewhere. Rebecca took her time in reassuring me pick a hair shade explained the differences and used her professionalism to the very best. I was also treated by a lovely scalp massage, I liked the fact Rebecca used lots of lovely products on my hair after my colour which i loved and purchased, I have never had such a lovely comfortable experience during and after my service in a hair salon before. The salon its self is beautiful and everyone in the salon was so welcoming to me. My hair feels and looks amazing so shiny and healthy and i just love the colour. I had my hair cut and coloured by the lovely Annie, she is an absolutely brilliant hairdresser the cut and colour was superb and from the minute you walk in she makes you feel so welcome, she takes her time listening to what you want done and gives you suggestions as to what you can have, plush has such a lovely relaxing atmosphere there is no loud music just great banter between staff and customers, i highly recommend this hairdressers im not going anywhere else!

Eye Treatment Wow what a wonderful treatment, I suffer with puffy runny eyes most of the summer and this treatment felt so good, the cooling globes ( hope that’s right ) feel amazing not just on the eyes but on face also. My skin feels so clean and looks so much better. Would highly recommend having this done. So relaxing I could have gone to sleep. Laura has done a fantastic job and I’ve booked in for the next one. Amazing service. Both staff were very chatty and welcoming with lovely manners. The service I got was perfection. Natalie spent a lot of time on my hair with close attention to detail. I didn't feel rushed, I felt like they really wanted to get my hair right. I was brunette before with faded blond ends and naturally have dry hair, but they haven't damaged my hair with the highlights. Instead it's glossy with all dead ends trimmed off. I got the perfect blonde I wanted! Highlight recommend. This is my first time here as well as I would go back in a heartbeat if it wasn't for me relocating up to Cumbria. Thank you so much ladies 💓

By far the best salon I have ever been too. I usually feel uncomfortable in a salon however the team make you feel cared for. 8 hours of hard work and my hair was in a better condition than before.
