Delicious food, freshly cooked and not pretentious. Beautiful old building that's been tastefully restored to a high standard. Service is always excellent too

The double room in the stable block was compact but fine for two people and a small dog. Fully dog friendly, for £10 payable in the cafe. The room was warm, the shower was superb and the bed comfortable. I like the usb chargers in the mains sockets too. No light over the table was the only minor niggle.

On Friday 31st May our full wedding ceremony was held at the old kings head... from day 1 of planning our special day to the actual day. Vicky, Nathan and the whole team were amazing. From the booking of guests rooms, which are beautiful rooms. Clean, spacious, comfy lovely decored rooms. The setting up of the barn for our ceremony to converting it into afternoon/evening celebration room was all done perfectly by the staff.. leaving us to relax and enjoy our day with no stress... the whole team at the old kings head are amazing. I cannot recommend this beautiful place enough... thank you to you all for hosting an amazing wedding day for us.. truly amazing xx

Really nice coffee shop, that's dog friendly, lovely food. The only downside is that the menu is limited between 1030 and 12 pm. When lunch starts again, however, the waitress did offer to ask the chef if he would cook me something. Definitely return, and I would recommend it.

What a delightful coffee shop for breakfast, I came to see the Church across the road and happened across the cleanest and cosiest coffee shop ever with the sweetest staff. Warm and welcoming with a touch of class.
