Tucked away in a charming setting, this little restaurant has all the cozy vibes of a cottage, complete with warm, inviting interiors that make you feel right at home. From the moment I stepped in, the welcoming staff made me feel like part of the family. The two serving ladies were especially delightful—I've never heard "thank you" so many times in one evening! They were genuinely friendly and professional, adding to the classy atmosphere of the place. White tablecloths adorned the tables, setting the stage for a delightful evening. Now, let’s talk about the food—oh my goodness, where do I even begin? Every dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented with flavors that left me in awe. The mushroom and coconut soup was a standout, boasting an original taste that was simply out of this world! The duck was cooked to perfection, just as I wished, and it melted in my mouth. You can tell the chef is not only experienced but also incredibly passionate about their craft. And the service? Just lovely! The serving ladies were attentive and always made sure we were well taken care of. It felt like being pampered without it feeling over the top. All the guests around me were clearly delighted, and I can see why! As for the prices, wow! For such an amazing experience, I expected to pay a premium, but the prices were very reasonable. You definitely get much more than you pay for! I absolutely recommend Kirton Cottage to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I can’t praise this little gem of a restaurant highly enough, what a find! The food was fabulous and the waiting staff very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The scallops were cooked perfectly but the best choice must be the beef wellington-very tender and tasty. Carrots were sweet, even the wine selection had a great choice. If you’re looking for microwaved meals in an ultra modern and noisy establishment then don’t come here. This is classy, quirky and with affordable home cooked food. No wonder it was full, definitely need to book. Wish there were more of these restaurants around the country

A wonderful evening on NYE. Never eaten there before but it was recommended and oh wow it was fabulous. Can't fault a single thing. Ample portions 😳. I'm a pudding fan so I was gutted I couldn't squeeze another morsel in. Oh well there's always another visit to get that one in me 😁😁. Thank you for a fabulous evening ❤️

Truly lovely meal, excellently cooked and served by a wonderful lady. One of the nicest meals out I’ve had ever. Always book to save your space, especially weekends but we will definitely be back
