My partner and I visited here twice, both times felt like we had found a hidden gem. The food tasted authentically Italian, with special highlights being the tris bruschetta that had delicious homemade bread, creamy risottos that were rich and flavourful (I had both the speck and mushroom one and the asparagus and almond one, both delicious) and well-recommended wine to complete the set. The portions were huge, perfect for one person but also I split a main into two and still left feeling full. The family running the place were very friendly and attentive, leaving nothing to be desired. Highly recommend!
I came with a friend who recommends this family-run Italian restaurant, and indeed, the food is authentically Italian! Everything is freshly made, very good quality, and just delicious. If you're going out with your family or friends, just go and try the food.Don't compare prices with other restaurants because with premium quality food, there is no comparison. They differentiate on quality and authenticity.If you want to have a treat, have a real, delicious treat - one that leaves great memories of food brought over from Italy to Grantham, and genuinely prepared by Italians who are committed to serving you good food.
Have been a number of times for breakfast, coffee or evening meal. I find the whole family wonderfully inviting and efficient. Never had anything to complain about. Best pizza I’ve had outside of Italy, and the best Italian wine I’ve ever tasted.
We were warmly greeted by the family from Calabria who own this authentic Italian bistro. The risotto zafferano, speck e fungi was so divine and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his penne vodka e salmone. We shared a delicious home-made pistachio tart and icecream. The family were lovely to chat with and deserve to do well.
Beautiful authentic Italian food which is freshly made. The bruschetta was gorgeous and the homemade pesto tasted amazing. Couldn’t fault the pasta or pizza dishes and the pistachio tiramisu was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely return, just what Grantham needs!
