Updating my review following a second job completed by Pete and Andy - excellent job again, and can thoroughly recommend - the work that they do is of the highest quality, but they are also very good post-completion at coming back for any snagging - have always felt everything is well communicated and have stuck to quoted prices. No hesitation in recommending and would certainly use them again.

Well it’s been nearly a year since Pete and Andy and the team took on my loft conversion. I can say that their professionalism, skill and just hard work finished my project on time to the day !!! They are a pleasure to work with and would highly recommend them to anyone who was looking to have work done at their home. If I need anything else doing at my property I know who I will be calling. Andy and Pete consistently confirmed that we'd made the right decision when we asked them to build a single storey extension onto the back of our house and a replacement porch. They were not only highly skilled, patient, honest, trustworthy and communicative, they (and their team) were just great people to have around. That's pretty vital when they are going to spend months on your project! They used their vast experience and network to quickly resolve any challenges which arose and have left us with a life changing extension that we enjoy each and every day. The gorgeous extension is filled with light due to an apex roof housing two Velux windows and a complete wall of bifold doors with glass gable end. The Utility Room houses our white goods at a raised level for ease of use and our very swanky porch (!) is rendered as per the bottom half of the entire house. Quite a transformation! For your interest I attach before, during and after photos of their work here in Chandler's Ford We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Andy and Pete, with Nick and Graham, carried out our loft conversion this year and we are so happy with their work. What we liked best was their time-keeping (they ran exactly to schedule) and costing (they ran exactly to quote, except for some extras that we requested). As important was their pleasantness in working with. They are very courteous, great communication, and any problems were listened to carefully and a sensible solution found. Our project was quite large (dormer L-shape loft conversion, complete reroof, chimney repoint, 2 new bathrooms and fitted cupboards and wardrobes). Their workmanship is of a very high standard and we strongly recommend them.

Barry Tom and Tim were just fantastic. Responsive to our roof leak. Arrived early and worked a straight 11 hour day. Completed the job with minimal disruption to a first rate standard. Highly recommended 10/10.

I've been hugely impressed by First Choice Roofing and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I e-mailed last Thursday to request a quote; within less than fifteen minutes, I'd heard back and we arranged a visit that same day. By today (Wednesday) the work was complete! My garage roof - which had a huge amount of greenery to be removed - has been cleared, boarded and refelted to a high standard, as well as having guttering and drainpipe installed. Genuinely one of the easiest major property maintenance encounters I've ever had.

Barry and team did a fantastic job replacing the felt, battens, some beams and some tiles on my 1960s roof, plus replacement fascias, soffits and gutters and a refresh of my porch. He was amazingly responsive and good at communicating, and his team including David and Tom were excellent. They are all experienced and knowledgeable and worked for several days to get the job completed. Thank you Barry and First Choice Roofing.

Absolutely amazing team. Barry was exceptionally professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Keeping me informed of all the requirements and work as his team of well-mannered lads diligently stripped the roof ,soffits, and facias and replaced/renewed as required in an unprecedented timely manner. No frills golf range, which does what it says on the tin. However the gem here is the attached shop, it doesn't carry a huge range of products, but is staffed by truly knowledgeable experts, who will give you advice with no pressure of a sale. For example if you had a fitting, but didn't have a huge budget they would happily advise you what to buy second hand, and then adjust it for you. They also have the latest technology available for lessons and fittings.

Absolutely brilliant. Clean tidy, well looked after. Great lessons with Peter. Played the par 3 course today, for £6 you can't complain. The greens are only astro but non the less brilliant practice course. Great for kids to play/practice on.

Much improved in appearance and facilities offered with a well equipped driving range and a new par 3 golf course, since our last visit. A really good refreshments addition providing freshly made Pizzas and variety of drinks. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating by the putting green. A great place for golfers of all standards and ages, and families, to enjoy leisure time.

I recently enquired about having 3 internal doors altered in my house after having new carpets fitted etc… Alister was very quick to respond and booked us in as soon as he could. Brilliant work absolutely love it. I had a flood and was panicking with my new build ground floor stripped out. Andy was very good and gave my family back a beautiful home within weeks. Shakesphere fit all my internal doors downstairs all akirting and completed door frames and completely transformed my home with oak steps. We have had a leak in our roof which Daren narrowed down to a Velux window. On close inspection, the window was found to be rotten so a new Velux window was fitted. The two people who fitted it, Dave and Matt, did a very neat job.

Daren and his colleague did a fantastic job of installing a conservation-style Velux roof window to our listed cottage. Also, they kindly repaired a hole in the roof they'd spotted that went beyond the agreed contract. They are very competitively priced, the work completed was to a high professional standard and they left the work areas spotless. The scaffolders were great, scaffolding was installed in advance and removed in a timely fashion. The whole process from quote through to installation and handover went very smoothly. We are very pleased and would happily recommend Raymonds Roofing.

BM Carpentry and Building did some work do or me recently (Sept 2023) at my house, to repair and replace some rotten woodwork around my French door and adjacent windows. Brett and Wes did a great job. They came out and discussed it in detail with me first, then subsequently came out and completed the job in a single day. The work done was of good quality, at a fair price and they left things clean and tidy. I had used their services previously once before, a couple of years ago on a bigger job when I was having my house re-roofed and had the same very positive experience then. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend BM Carpentry and Building!

BM Carpentry and Building recently reconstructed our kitchen, dining room and hallway into a modern spacious kitchen diner, including replacing double glazed rear door and two windows. We are very pleased with the finished spacious room. BM Carpentry and Building employed supporting specialist tradesmen who were also very professional. Brett and Wes recently completed an extension on our home. They were precessional, reliable and extremely trustworthy. It was a pleasure to have them working in our home. Brett built a bespoke pottery studio for us and we are really pleased. It was a slightly awkward space but he understood what we wanted and gave us the best design and quote. His workmanship is a great standard and he was accommodating when we made changes along the way. Neat and tidy, helpful and professional. Definitely recommend

Jake was very thorough and extremely helpful when we needed advice on a number of carpentry works at our home. He was very prompt with responses, fair on price and very professional. The flooring (herringbone), new skirting and wood work repairs carried out throughout the house was exceptional and we very happy with the end result. We first came across Mark a good few years ago when we wanted fitted drawers and wardrobes doing in an eaves bedroom. I drew a quick sketch of cupboards above and drawers below with some photos of the room and Mark came back with a CAD drawing which was exactly what we wanted. We booked him and he did the job for us. We were thrilled. When we had a loft conversion done some years later and wanted a run of cupboards in the bedroom that became the landing, including an office cupboard in the middle, there was only one person we were going to ask. Again, I outlined what I wanted, we had a bit of a chat via email and we came up with a design which Mark built and fitted. Subsequently he has done us a built in cupboard in an alcove in the bathroom and also a bespoke door for the under stairs cupboard. Mark is a really nice bloke, I am more than happy to have in my house with the family around. The guy that fitted my doors took one look at Mark's work and said enviously 'That guy's good'.
