What a delicious experience! The lady from the Airbnb has recommended us this place for breakfast and obviously we had our doubts. I'm glad we believed her! It's a tiny place but its flavour is great. I didn't have enough stomach for eating the full menu, or the pastries bar. The people were so helpful and kind. Totally recommend by the lady and from now on by me as well.

The Retreat is a quaint, inviting cafe and definitely a must visit in Brockenhurst if you fancy a delicious breakfast! We opted for the large English breakfast which arrived on a warm plate, clearly cooked to order (a rarity) and was presented beautifully! Excellent produce, from the golden yolk eggs, to the sausages and bacon from their local butchers. The baked hash browns were fluffy and mourish, all washed down with a cuppa! Great selection of homemade cakes- unfortunately we didn’t get to try any as we were full but looking forward to next time! Fleur and Paul were incredibly welcoming and attentive, you can see how much effort and love they both have put into their lovely cafe! They make a great team 🫖🍰🍳🥓☕️

Such a lovely place to come and eat good, clean and honest food. Had a really lovely Breakfast here, Avocado Smash with Sweet Tomatoes and a side of Bacon. The Service has been wonderful and they managed to cater for a tricky intolerance - Rapeseed Oil. Thank you for such a lovely start to the day and for being so friendly.

Lovely little cafe. We sought refuge from the rain here and got a hot drink. The hot chocolates we ordered were lovely, and the service was also great. Very friendly bunch working here. Didn’t get a chance to try food here as we had already had lunch but the food menu looked good and the cakes also looked very appealing. Also bought some jars of locally made jams here as gifts.

We have used Harrison heating for 14 years and have always been very pleased with the service. They fitted a new boiler for us 12 years ago and it has worked perfectly since. There also converted our heating to a two pipe system and fitted two new gas fires. Never a single fault. They do the servicing every year and always turn up on time and work efficiently.

Great service and installation from team at Harrison. Came out same day to quote for replacing boiler, quote was received same day. Boiler was installed 4 days later with work being done properly and whole place left clean with good handover on boiler instructions. Notably much quicker to get stock,install and cheaper than British Gas

I had air conditioning installed just before the summer, and it was the best decision I made! HHS was professional and clearly knew their stuff. They helped me choose the unit and the installation was smooth and hassle-free. Throughout the process, they were friendly, on time, and kept everything clean and tidy. The air conditioning has been working flawlessly, keeping my home cool and comfortable even during the hottest days. Our Worcester boiler broke down so we went through their official website to request an engineer attend in our local area. Harrison's replied very quickly and attended within a couple of days. We paid the diagnostic fee which was reasonable and Harrison's ordered the parts required. The engineer came again a few days later and repaired the boiler. It's now working fine. Overall, very good service.

II absolutely loved it, excellent value for money. Played two rounds while I was on holiday. The scenery is stunning, with wild horses running everywhere, beautiful. The staff were very friendly, and other than a few hoof prints on the greens, the courses are in good condition :-)

Really good course & requires a different set of skills.(lots of chip & run/putter action) Fairways are wide & the grass is really short. Greens lovely & nice scenery……you get a few Forest ponies walking about but they cause no issues. Clubhouse really friendly & welcoming.

Some great holes As with other courses where cattle roams, it is very wide open, the fairways are undefined and the greens a touch slow with the odd hoof mark. If that isn’t a deal breaker, this is a very enjoyable golf course. Clubhouse facilities more than adequate.

Great little course and you rarely play from a flat lie which will improve your game. Several par fours that are reachable in one for the bigger hitters but enough tricky holes to keep it interesting. No lush fairways as it’s a Forest course, but ‘pick and place’ all year round. I’d give the course a 7/10, but the clubhouse and the members a good 9/10. The affordability of a round and the wildlife make it well worth a visit.

Lovely staff, really kind and friendly. Clean and tidy areas, food available had a large amount of options and the meal I had at the restaurant was nice. Not as much of a large area when it comes to the cars as what it used to be like, the top gear section is also mostly based off the new top gear. Visiting the manor was really lovely and made the day trip allot better, really lovely gardens and information scattered about.

I recently spent a fantastic day at the Beaulieu National Motor Museum, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone with even a passing interest in cars. The variety of exhibits is truly impressive, with vehicles from all eras of motoring history. What sets this museum apart is the wealth of information provided alongside each exhibit. I learned so much about the history and evolution of different models. The interactive displays were also a great touch, making the experience engaging for all ages. Beyond the cars, the museum grounds are beautiful, with plenty of space to wander and explore. There are also other attractions on site, like the historic Beaulieu Abbey, making it a full day out.

For any car or Motorsport enthusiast this is a must. So many historic race cars and motoring history from the days of steam to today. The displays are excellent, they have gone a long way to set the scene with recreation of old workshops and swinging 60’s Britain. When I am next in the area I will definitely go back.

Large assortment of vehicles. Most of them are Historic. A few modern cars. Nice assortment of motorcycles. Everything was arranged nicely and I found the museum interesting and engaging. There are other things on property to see also. It was a nice way to spend the morning.

I have used RFW Plumbing for a number of years to carry out boiler servicing and other general plumbing works. They have always been responsive, very professional, and courteous from the initial contact to the completion of the job by their plumbers. RFW is a family business that actually cares about the level of service and quality of work they carry out. Last used January 2024. Charges are sensible and transparent. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm to you.

Absolutely delighted with RFW - one call to Richie after being let down by 2 local plumbers and he was at my grandad's house within an hour and resolved the problem immediately and without complication. Followed up with on site photos, a phone call to discuss the issue and further advice. Can't recommend this company highly enough - prompt, efficient, professional and great value. Wouldn't hesitate to use these guys again in the future!

Best welcome to date…beautiful link course, with the Isle of Wight views. A big shout of to Christie in the pro shop who went up and beyond to help my partner and I find a good place for NYE. Also Graham Pole for his generosity in buying us a pint after our first game here, as the bar was closing with only cash payments. We will defiantly be back to play the final 9 soon. Sam & James 😃

We are members anyway, and to be honest it's a very special place to visit. The sea view, Christchurch Bay, Needles in full view of, is stunning! Brendan for us being front of house, he is absolutely key to our experience, very witty, very hard working and attentive, along side a great team effort in general. We love it here, and will be forever regular visitors.

Played Stroller & Needles. Both incredible views and challenging holes. Stroller better of the two and harder. Lots of bunkers and some difficult hole layouts on both. Greens were a1. Clubhouse really cool. Just a fun place to play and challenging. Lots of par 5s and long challenging ones. The bunkers need the sand loosening though because they were almost all playing really shallow and hard and it was hard to take sand. Most of the sand underneath top thin layer was compacted, not loose. Apart from that it was awesome. This place is amazing and such a cool quirky club. Will definetly be returning at some point with other family/friends. Thanks a lot

Lovely course, a typical wintery day with murky clouds and it was pretty windy in some exposed places. I really enjoyed the variety of elevated tees, blind tee shots, water hazards and the views are stunning. I look forward to visiting again in the Summer months !!!

The course is good and despite it being a 9 hole it does offer some real variety, it becomes 18 as you play the same holes from two different tee locations.

What a beautiful course, in the heart of the New Forest. Some quirky holes with blind tee off's.. Quick greens and undulating fairways make for a fair challenge, certainly will return 👍⛳

I have used this company three times and they did an excellent job on each occasion. Most recently they replaced the mixer valves in my shower, a job which I had tried to do myself until I encountered problems removing one the old valves. Tested the shower and cleaned up afterwards. Recommended.

Fault code presented on boiler - could have easily come and charged us to fix boiler but instead gave sound advice at no expense or benefit to themselves to save us spending unnecessarily. We decided because of this fantastic and reliable advice we would return to have boiler replaced some months later and again had exceptional service, completed in a timely manner (7 days from initial contact and quote to fitting!) and at a brilliant price. Fantastic and friendly service throughout. Sound advice given and did not complete any unnecessary works. Honest and professional at all times and excellent communication. Would highly recommend to all and will be using yearly for our service!! Thank you!!!
