David answered an emergency call out for us one Monday evening as our fuse box had an issue and we were without lighting. David was with us within 20 minutes and rigorously spent two hours trying to establish the issue. It was 22:30 by the time David had managed to work out what the problem was, so he came up with a safe temporary solution and then returned to complete the work at a more sociable hour. He was friendly, professional, communicative and fairly priced will definitely be going back to him for any future electrical work and would happily recommend.

I was searching on line for an electrical company to carry our an electrical check on a rented property in Romford and Powerbrite was local and with good reviews. I wasn't disappointed. From the first phone call everything was arranged very quickly and we received a detailed report of the remedial works that needed to be undertaken within a day. The work was booked in and additional items were added without any fuss. We were very happy with the work that was carried out - neat, efficient and at a good price. I will be going back to Chris and team in the future if we need further work.

Chris and Andrew are excellent and friendly. Very glad we finally found electricians we trust and are very good. We had multiple issues to fix but they managed to fix all of them. The previous company we asked for a quote from didn’t even manage to see if our cooker hood still have power and quoted us an insane quote. We then contacted Chris and they worked it out straight away and was better priced!

Called regarding faulty outside lights. Very courteous on the phone and electrician arrived which seemed to me to be a very short space of time. Issue was diagnosed and rectified quickly. All the mess that had been made was cleared up without any prompting. You would never know anyone had done any work there. It was and wholesome amazing experience, I came with my parents for my 24th birthday, Mony was the one who served us, she was sweet, attentive, smiley and got us exactly what we asked for. My parents in passing made a comment about my birthday which we didn’t know she heard, off her own accord she then brought the team to sing me a happy birthday with a plate spelling happy birthday and a bowl of ice cream. It made me feel so special. The food was incredible, filling and clearly freshly made. The restaurant was STUNNING, it felt very high end, the decor was thoughtfully done. We waited only 5 mins for our food🤯! Loved loved LOVED everything about it. Thank you to your wonderful team we will be back again ☺️

What a lovely venue. The sun was out for us, the food looked and tasted superb and we had a wide range to choose from. The service was excellent from the moment we walked up to the front entrance and I knew straightaway we would had a great time for my mum's birthday brunch. The waiter also served us a nice surprise with a birthday dessert, which was a lovely touch. I highly recommend and we'll defintely be returning. 10/10 from me

I've been here couple of time and always come back. I've tried their pancakes which is incredibly fresh with fruits. The design is way too much as well, I had the eggs benedict which waa amazing and this time I tried the salmon which was awesome. Welcoming staff, great atmosphere.

First time here which was very overdue as heard positive things about this place and been wanting to try it out for myself. I was very impressed with the food, amazing food, very tasty and generous portion sizes. No issues with the service of staff however the service charge added to the bill was very hefty and it more expensive that expected!

We arrived at 2:55 and they served us even though there was a sign that said no food orders after 3 pm. We were pleasantly surprised at the food, Sausage sandwiches and an omelette, which was exactly what we wanted at the time. Very homey and down to earth place. We wanted a quick "tea" and we got what we wanted.

I pulled into this cafe on the off chance for a breakfast and wow ! I was gobsmacked at the effort they have made here with the decor seating etc . The food was served up in a skillet type plate and was delicious. They have bubble and squeak although it’s not on the menu and as a fan it’s up there . Praise to all down there and £8 for breakfast and tea of high quality is very good as well . I see they’ve got a bar down there as well with outside quality seating so I’ll be giving that a try in the summer . I have a feeling this place is going far . Give it a try , I’m glad I did

We had a lovely brunch at Roots, the venue is bright & airy, they had seats available when we arrived and service was very good. The food arrived quickly and was freshly cooked and tasty. There is ample seating outside which is under huge canopies so you'll stay dry in all weather's.

Lovely place to chill and have a catch up and great food options. If you on the low fodmap diet though we can only eat the pancakes which is a shame because the rest of the food looks amazing. Wow what a treat this place is. Visited with friends for a (hungover) brunch, it was busy but we were seated outside in the heated area to wait, and still had our drinks orders taken outside by a lovely member of staff. We ordered food & it arrived much quicker than I was expecting given how busy it was (11:30 on a Sunday). I had the 'fry up' my friend had the vegan version and the other poached eggs on toast. I can honestly say the sausages were the nicest ones I've ever had in my life! I would love to know their provider because they were incredible. Whole plate was lovely, beans seemed Homemade too. Friends meals looked just as good but I would say 1 slice of toast for a £9.50 egg dish seemed a bit stingy... and we were told toast was optional for our fry ups, I didn't realise it meant extra charge, so it meant it cost £15 total! (I think). That would be my own downside to this place, it is a 1 off treat, I know Upminster is expensive but £20 for breakfast is a lot. Staff were lovely, drinks were lovely, decor was lovely, would recommend for a weekend treat, and would love to return to try the evening pizza offerings!

The staff here are so friendly and made us feel really welcome, nothing was too much for them. I decided to try a Ruby latte and it was delicious, the food was presented very well and tasted amazing. The only downside I would say is that it felt a little cramped as the tables are really close together, but that definitely wouldn't stop me from returning.

We held our daughter’s 10th birthday party at Fete Lounge. From start to finish, the whole event went really smoothly. The team at Fete Lounge are fantastic. They offered valuable advice during the planning stage and made sure the day itself went without a hitch. The food was also really good and our daughter loved the day. The price was also really reasonable. We would definitely use Fete Lounge again for private parties
