I want to share my experience one day I was very very hungry because I came from work at 12.o’ clock and that day really I miss my Indian vegetarian food and gratefully, I scrolled google and find Roshini restaurant and I ordered shahi paneer, naan and veg biryani.. to be honest I was just wait for one hour and after 1hour delivery brother came exact time in my location in the rainy weather. I really really appreciate because my home is very far away from Southall because my exact location is in Stanwell Thank you so much Roshini restaurant and that delivery brother I really appreciate your service and food. I enjoyed a lot my veg biryani (with loaded lots of paneer)and shahi paneer and very big two naaan with Rayta and salad. Next time, I always decide to order my food from that restaurant❤️❤️❤️❤️.

Few days ago I came with my family to Roshni Restaurant and we travelled 2 hours to come here. We ordered tawa mix grill which no restaurant in Southall Broadway had. We tried Spice Village, Giftos but didn’t hit the standard. However, the experience with Tawa mix grill was successful as it was delicious as well as it had a lot of food like naan, rice, grill food which everyone in my family enjoyed and got excited about. Then ordered Peshawari chicken karahi which was very nice as well. Would highly recommend to visit this restaurant and try tawa mix grill to get a new experience.👍🏻

Easy to spot, located near the high street just opposite the bus stop. We had Papdi chaat made of Namak pare and desi chutney, Chilli chicken with a unique style of preparation, shahi paneer, Daal Makhani, Peshawari Kadhai Chicken, and Chilli Garlic Naan. Every dish was good, but the Peshawari Kadhai Chicken was the best.

We visited as a group of friends for an afternoon snack and decided to order cholay batooray and halwa poori. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive, as it’s made fresh, but it was definitely worth the wait. The meal was both delicious and reasonably priced. Our server was also fantastic—she helped us choose what to order and took great care of us throughout. We’ll definitely be back, this time with family.

A fantastic place to chill and vibe. Much, much better than the high street favourite (who shall not be named). The only place with fantastic Malai tea in all of southall. Our lovely server, Seema, made sure we were welcomed and took care of us during our meal. My favourite was the Lamb Samosas with homemade chutney - out of this world. Fantastic atmosphere and a great and fresh deco! Highly recommend!

Extraordinary new concept. Different take on a classic English afternoon tea with a desi twist. Upon arrival our blossom afternoon tea layout was already set up. You need to book beforehand online to reserve as they do not offer this service if you are ‘walk-in’ customer. Pleased be advised there is a £40 fee if you do not cancel within a given timeframe, hence why you need to book online as they have your card on hold. We were greeted and seated. It took around 20-25mins for the food to come. As you can see from the pictures it’s splendid to look at. You get a selection of cakes. Savouries and refillable chosen tea. I would highly recommend even if you are not into the afternoon tea to go for the chicken cheese toastie and their milk cakes. With regards to price point: it’s £30 per person however if there’s two of you it’s £55. In my opinion, I do think it’s priced slightly too high, given the location and establishment. The establishment, although quite aesthetically pleasing it can also be considered quite casual- e.g. people ordering small plates or just desserts and therefore the price for the afternoon tea can be deemed quite expensive. This can also make customers that ordered afternoon tea quite uncomfortable as it is exposed to other customers. Having said that, I will advise the lovely owners to maybe considering either reducing the price point of the afternoon tea or creating a part of the restaurant that’s exclusive(separated) to afternoon tea customers. This will most definitely make your customers feel more at ease. There were some issues I noticed with the restaurant. The first issue was I overheard an issue with a customer requesting tap water and although the waiter stated that are not legally required to serve tap water (free) because they do not serve alcohol. However, although they are correct I do believe it would forthcoming for the restaurant to provide this service as customers would be grateful and more likely to return. In this case, the two customers were not happy and left quite abruptly and it made us very uncomfortable and overshadowed our afternoon tea experience. The second issue: toilet door is locked and the workers know the code but every time you need the toilet they have to open the toilet door for you. This can be quite frustrating if customers need to wash hands and having to constantly ask. In addition, always opening the door and then going back to serve on tills is very unhygienic and can make customers worry and cautious. What I would advise the owners is writing the code on customer receipts (already printed on the back of the receipts) so it deters non-customers using the toilet. Lastly I would recommend this place whether for casual or special occasions. The waiters were really nice and welcoming I don’t normally write lengthy reviews however the owners were welcoming and only offering this advice as you both seem like your business deserves to thrive.

Damon done a fantastic job doing the installation of my spot lights and new sockets for my kitchen and the rest of the flat and a new a fan in the bathroom 2 years ago and just recently carried out an electrical safety check at the same flat. DWA a very reasonable priced company who offer a professional and reliable service and would definitely have no hesitation to use them again for any further electrical work

Excellent service from DWA fitting wall lights in my living room. It may have been quite a small job for them but it was done with great care and attention to detail. The price was excellent value too. Couldn't have been better and definitely a company I will always hope to use in future.

Damon and the team performed a full rewire of my house. They were hard working and efficient and always tidied up after themselves. The team occasionally worked late to get the job done and always kept us updated of the progress. The job was also true to the original quote (which was competitive). We were also asked our preference of fixtures and fittings during the process - would 100% recommend

DWA wired up a garden structure for me and managed all elements of the job superbly, from procuring fittings, doing the wiring, certificates, etc. The work was brilliant and neat. Fast, efficient and friendly, I would complete recommend them.

Damon sorted out my storage heater when it was needed the most due to low temperatures outside. He responded promptly and fixed the problem quickly while also advising on how I could make my heating system more efficient in the future. This was the second time I used his service, and both times the job was done perfectly. I don't often leave reviews, but I feel Damon deserves more recognition. He's definitely my go-to spark.

Great place to relax after work and have a few pints. They got some nice decor that sets the atmosphere and a pool table etc. Got a nice happy hour if you want to save on drinks and its right next to a hotel incase you get hammered and need to pass out. Definlay worth checking out if your near by.

Red Lion reborn... Definitely nicer than before from a decor sense and much more open to new crowds and families. Went for the first quiz night (won of course), it was a very fun well organised event. I shed a tear for the pool table spent many a year on that... But life moves on, goodbye red lion, hello the terrace.

Poornima

Cool little restaurant/café. I especially loved the 'noodle burger' - perfectly made. Some good stuff for cheap prices here, and nice value-for-money deals. Great joint for a quick cuppa.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5 Stars) Poornima’s is the definition of home-cooked Indian food. This is, hands down, the most authentic Indian restaurant in London right now. The chicken curry brought back memories of home, it’s rich, flavorful, and absolutely comforting. And the masala tea? Truly homemade, not the powdered sachet shortcut you find at so many other places. Every sip felt like a warm hug. What truly sets Poornima’s apart is the authenticity you can taste. The food doesn’t come out within minutes, and that’s how you know it’s fresh and made with care. This place is officially my new go-to for Indian food. I highly, highly recommend it to anyone who craves genuine, soulful cooking. A gem in Southall!

Lahori Masala Southall

179 The Broadway, Southall UB1 1LX, UK | Restaurant
P: 020 3621 5718

Rating: 4.6 (784) Price Level:

So had High expectations with this place being on the same stretch as some of the other well know restaurants I have allready reviewed so there is stiff competition. There was 2 members of staff handing out leaflets and trying to drum up customers to come in. In terms of decor and ambience , it was okay. Service was a little lack lustre. I told the waiter before ordering to please make sure there was a naan bread served with the starters but he didn't deliver. This is a big annoyance for me where so many restaraunts fail. I like a bit of naan with my lamb seekh kebabs or chicken tikka. This was another place where whilst I was waiting for that that starters had cooled down. So annoying especially when I gave the guy a head up and clear request. Food was reasonably priced. Lots of choice. The food however was spicey even though I asked for mild and the flavours were okay. There was nothing amazing or wow or exceptional. Every place should have something memorable or something unique or different that sets them selves apart from the rest but this was not that place and sadly due to that, this will be my first and last time here again. The food was not bad it was okay, just a bit average. The chicken and lamb curry were good. Chilli paneer not that great and paapdi chaat was lacking everything. Need some decent chutneys on that guys Service was not great considering there was only 2 tables being serviced. Makes me wonder what service would be like when your full?! Upstairs toilet looked clean but actual toilet was disgusting. Won't put pic of that on here. Bit messy in places. Parking is usual situation that you woukd expect in southall. - tricky at best of times. All in all thankyou was an okay experience but not one I want to have again. Was okay but nothing great.

It's Pakistani cuisine and the food is great, it is a very busy restaurant, and the food was halal and great in taste, it's just that they only have 1 toilet (unisex) which could be due to less space that I didn't fancy but overall recommended to everyone wanting some nice desi food and marvelous desi service, the owner and waiters were very polite and attentive!!

This place has become our go to place since the time it opened in December 2023, and I can hardly think of myself going to another place but Shinwari. The namak mandi kadhayi is authentic and extremely flavourful , the mixed grill is amazing, the new menu which they call brunch is very pocket friendly and filling. I’d recommend this place if you want and experience which would ask you to keep coming back❤️🫶

They have brunch option and lunch menu to choose from. We wanted to try the masala fish from the starter and masala on the fish was tasty but the fish itself is frozen fish, the mini mix grill had good flavours and portion size is decent for two people. The Shinwari special biryani had good amount of chicken pieces. The food was filling and light but it didn’t have the flavours we were expecting on the mini mix grill.

All the food was delicious. The portions were so large we took boxes home and it was enough for another meal. One of the staff also gave us a free dessert.
