Very pleased with DGS Ltd. They worked towards my schedule. They delivered, installed a new storage heater to replace a broken one. Waste collection was arranged but Jordan ended up saving the day. Professional and swift responses and kept informed at every stage. Would recommend and will be using again.

Wonderful service, very responsive, reliable, and fast. I cannot believe how much work was done so quickly by Darren, who also did not leave any mess and took great care that things like wallpaper were not affected. We have used a lot of electricians in the past as we have done houses up and I would say that Jorden and Darren are the best we have ever used.

We had a new chandelier fitted in our lounge and a large heavy chandelier fitted in our hallway as well as several new electrical points . Jason and Dylan ,the electricians, were professional and despite the weight and the awkwardness of the large chandelier they just got on with the job. Would definitely use WJS Electrical again. It is so good to find efficient, reliable professionals.

Lovely piece of Portugal in Kingston. Delicious food, coffee with great friendly service. Well stocked wine "library". I asked for a recommendation for a medium priced red wine to accompany a steak dinner. It wasn't too much trouble for the owner to recommend from the wide offerings, which was much appreciated.

Absolutely great Portuguese cafe in Kingston. The staff were extremely welcoming and explained a variety of new products. The food was good, I had the Chorizo & Cheese sandwich and a Pastel De Nata. The person I went with had a Quiche and loved their coffee. Their Prices are fair too, 0 complaints. They also have a meat & cheese section, lots of Portuguese groceries to buy and a nice selection of high-quality wine. For more photos & videos, follow me on Instagram @oureatinglife_

The French Table

Rating: 4.9 (764) Price Level:

Having been on my bucket list for some time, we managed to get a last minute reservation for my wife’s birthday. The welcome was very friendly and when shown to our table, not only was there birthday confetti on the table but they had also personalised the menu. You already know from these little touches, it is going to be a great evening. The food was outstanding. I had the soft boiled egg salad to start and the grilled octopus with saffron risotto for the main. I could not fault either dish. My wife and daughter had the roasted loin of beef for the main with a side of mash. ‘Heaven on a plate, was my wife’s response whilst my daughter couldn’t stop devouring the mash. We all chose different desserts and once again, faultless. The waiting staff were extremely attentive and friendly which all helped to make a very memorable dining experience. We will certainly return. Exceptional service with exceptional food. Highly recommend.

This restaurant made my birthday wonderful and memorable. All staff were very welcoming and attentive as well as very professional. The serving speed was very quick without any delays. The foods were superb - the ingredients were fresh and harmonised. I regret I didn't order sides as the mains had such a great punch and powerful flavours. Great atmosphere to enjoy Christmas vibe enough. As this place is a popular spot, I wish they extended the size of a restaurant, and then more people can have an amazing experience there. Love this place lots.

Absolutely divine. We had the most wonderful experience here. The service is outstanding. The food was sublime and beautifully presented. We went for the tasting menu and dined in on a Friday night. Cannot fault it at all and we found it to be better than some of the Michelin star restaurants we have been to. The cod and venison dishes were standouts but every single dish was a revelation. To echo some of the other reviews here, this restaurant thoroughly deserves a Michelin star. We'd love to see it happen!

We opted for the tasting menu at lunch which offered a variety of beautifully presented dishes of authentic French cooking. Standout dishes were the squash veloute, hake and the passion fruit tarte. The restaurant had a buzzing atmosphere and service was perfect.

Exquisite Meal at The French Table last night! All I can say is truly a “Chef’s Kiss” is deserved and more! This talented Chef should be awarded a Michelin Star ⭐ From the moment you walk in you’re so warmly greeted. They are all about the details… staff are so knowledgeable and friendly. Celebrating a birthday - was made to be pretty spectacular - I am a well travelled person… I have eaten in some amazing restaurants. The combination of ingredients and presentation was really impressive.

My two daughters and I visited this lovely Tapas Bar last Friday evening and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the bar had a real buzz about it. Had a nice lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. The food was very good. My daughter especially liked the meat skewers and the potatas bravas. I liked the prawns and fish croquettes. The calimares was tasty too. The bread and Olive oil was a hit. The bread was fresh, warm and great for mopping up the remanence of anything with a sauce. Service as polite, friendly and efficient. It was quiet when I went but the decor is fine and the seating was comfortable. Overall it’s pretty good value. But I do think £9 for padron peppers is unusually high. It’s a good place

We had a vegan and a dairy/wheat/egg intolerance in the group and it was no stress for Gavin, Beth and their team. Delicious and highly recommend as a compliment to your trip along the river!

In that sunny autumn afternoon, the atmosphere was 6-star. I didn't expect much from what looked like to me a refreshment kiosk but the food was surprisingly good, so was the espresso. My smashed avocado on sourdough looked artistic and tasted fresh with plenty of tomatoes. They forgot to fill the order of my coffee though perhaps because they were too busy. The queue never ended.

We live just down the road from the Ginger Bees and have stopped a few times on our walk around the Promenade for a take away coffee. Today we decided to share a cone on the way home. The staff are friendly and the coffee is good. My biggest issue is the price vs the really small size take away coffee cups. The ice cream was a decent value for a double scoop but wasn’t anything spectacular. Definitely a fun place to visit when the weather is great to enjoy a tasty beverage and look out on the water.

Nice cafe with good prices. I chose the Full English Breakfast which comprised of two fried eggs, two sausages, two rashers of bacon, two slices of toast with a serving of baked beans and added a can of lemonade to the order and the total price was only £9.00. There is a customer toilet which was in reasonable condition. The cafe seats around 30 people indoors and in the region of 16 outdoors. I've been here a few times now. The team are always incredibly friendly and the service is impeccable. They scan the room to ensure that everyone looks happy and manage to time their check ins perfectly. Food is great, the time before last we managed to book for 10 and all the food was ready way quicker than other places. Definitely recommend if you like seafood.

If you're craving fresh, delicious seafood, Ocean Basket in Kingston upon Thames is a must-visit. The restaurant boasts a prime location along the Thames, offering stunning views while you dine. The menu is packed with mouthwatering options, but my personal favorites are the fresh, warm rolls and the perfectly cooked fried calamari drizzled with tangy lemon butter sauce. The seafood is cooked to perfection, making every bite a delight. The service is top-notch. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always happy to offer recommendations. Whether you're dining alone or with a group, you'll feel right at home. If you're looking for a fantastic seafood restaurant with great food, excellent service, and a beautiful setting, Ocean Basket is definitely worth a visit or many :)

My second visit, this time for our wedding Anniversary. The food was excellent quality, I had grilled Calamari and my wife had the mussels in sauce, both very tasty. The haddock was moist and my wife’s crusted salmon also was a good choice. The chips were a bit of a let though. Overall nice restaurant that sits between a chip shop restaurant and fine dining. We will definitely be back for the offers they have, the pensioners menu and the Monday lunch 2 for 1 fish and chips.

I asked a friend who lives local to recommend a restaurant and was told ocean basket was the place to visit. We were not disappointed - food was fresh and flavourful. It was very busy so a little bit loud but nothing to complain about. Our waiter was very polite and attentive. I hope to visit again! Pictured is the fish and chips, and bite of the ocean platter.

What a lovely experience. Sergio is a wonderful host and the food and wine were excellent. We had the freshest fattest whitebait as one of our starters - ok, not that exotic nor a regional Italian speciality but a good test of a restaurant’s quality. Top notch and we will definitely return.

We came to Trattoria Calabrese because we were visiting Richmond Park abd were curious about the 4.8 stars on Google (and we love Italian food) and SO GLAD we came. The men who attended us were beyond nice, and the two pastas we ordered were amazing, the nduja one (it is spicy so beware!) and the creamy prawn-salmon. All super good. The portions look small in the pictures, do not be fooled as they were quite big! Do come if you are in the area! We will be back for sure.

Lovely restaurant - the decor was rustic and charming. They offer seating either indoors or in a conservatory area. The gentleman serving on the particular evening was very pleasant, as was the kitchen staff. Fast service. Ordered two seabass dishes. It was tasty but quite pricey for the portion sizes. The tiramisu however was the highlight - a must try if you come here! Very light and flavoursome.
