Came here last night for family birthday celebrations and the service was 10/10. From beginning to end of the meal, they really looked after you and were very attentive and paid attention to the little details. Couldn't fault them and the platter was recommended to us and worth it! We got 2 platters (each platter serves 2) which was enough for all 5 of us!

DELICIOUS!!!! At first I was a little apprehensive; its an upmarket restaurant, very smart and I thought perhaps might be on the pricy side. However when the food was served I was instantly allayed. The food was simply superb! The best Turkish food we've ever had, and we must've eaten in a dozen or so Turkish restaurants in recent years. The portion sizes were great and despite ordering a four person platter for five people, we still has some to take home! Highly recommended.

A quick dinner turned into a lovely surprise. We sat down at this Turkish restaurant, expecting standard quality food. To our big surprise the food was above the average for this kind of venue. The interior is grand and wonderful, something that doesn’t always translate to great tasting food. Not at Deraliye. The food was superb. Adana kebab, lamb shish, calamari, hummus and all the rest of our food was very delicious. I have 2 suggestions to the management, though. Less potatoes in the octopus salad and add KĂŒnefe to the dessert menu. I was very happy with this gem of a Turkish restaurant. Noted down in my “to be repeated” list. Obviously, highly recommended.

Haven't been here for a few years, but we decided to come and have a late lunch with my husband and mother in law. Can't book a table here but managed to get a table, no problem. Our waitress was Ella P, and she was lovely and friendly. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Highly recommend the haddock fishcakes for starters. Wont leave it so long before coming again.

A very sweet cafe, the staff are always welcoming and friendly especially with so many kids around! Puzzles, colouring and books for children too. I would just say that some of the food is quite expensive- baby fruit pouches are literally twice the price of the shop up the road

I've been here a few times and each time it's always on par with the last. It's a consistently great restaurant with great food. You must try the mussels here, they're delicious and the sauce is divine with extra bread! But all the food is delicious and for a french restaurant the classics are on the menu which is great to see. I'm a huge fan of spicy margs and I was surprised to see it on the menu but this one did not disappoint! The staff are all really nice. Even with an incident of a drink spillage the staff were very apologetic and accommodating. Great place and gorgeous decor at the back too. I'll defo come back.

I had breakfast at this place close to Cockfosters Station, and it was pretty great! The menu had a nice mix of options that would satisfy just about anyone. The coffee was okay, but honestly, it was a bit on the small side. The best part was the staff—they were super friendly and helpful

As I was treated to a meal, I’m unsure if the prices reflect the food and service. However, the food and service were amazing. I had the onion soup followed by the duck (these are the English names food simplicity) and both were very nice. My girlfriend’s pĂątĂ© was also nice - according to her. My only complaint, and its personal preference, is that the restaurant felt a little too modern and “British” rather than a quaint, little inn.

I’ve just visited Heaven Cafe in High Barnet, and honestly, it’s one of the few nice spots in the area. The decor is sleek, modern, and spotless—definitely giving off a fresh, newly-opened vibe. Wonderful coffee. Was staying in the area for the week so didn't have our trusty coffee machine with us so was thrilled to find this lovely coffee shop on route to central London. I have traveled a lot and had a lot of pastries from many many different coffee shops. This is up there with the best. Truly a gem. A must visit and became our regular for our stay while we were in London. Both me and my wife loved it.

Barnet Cafe is a true hidden gem! This lovely, family-run cafe has won my heart over with its warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious offerings. I first discovered this charming spot in 2020, and it has since become my regular haunt, a testament to its consistent excellence. One of the standout features of Barnet Cafe is the generosity they bring to every plate. The portions are not only generous but also incredibly affordable, making it an ideal choice for both budget-conscious diners and those seeking hearty, satisfying meals. My personal favourite is their mouthwatering steak, a dish that I find myself coming back for time and time again. The quality and flavour are consistently top-notch, and they're cooked to perfection every single time. The fact that they have a kids' menu that's equally impressive is a huge bonus for families. It's wonderful to see a place that caters to all ages. Beyond the fantastic food, the staff at Barnet Cafe truly make you feel like part of the family. Their warm hospitality and attentive service make every visit a memorable one. The cosy ambience adds to the overall experience, making it a perfect setting for any occasion. Barnet Cafe is more than just a cafe; it's a home away from home. If you're in search of a place where you can enjoy a delectable meal, bond with your loved ones, and not break the bank, look no further. It's no wonder it has become my regular spot, and I have a feeling it will continue to be for years to come. PS... I can't believe I never reviewed this amazing cafe all these years, and the photos I'm using are from my first few visits since I just focus more on enjoying my meals these days. Yeah, I'm adventurous with foods, but the steak is just muaaaah!!!

Well done higher-end pub grub. Great service and ambience. Clean and accessible baby changing facilities (and high chairs). First time here and already thinking about when we can come back. Very nicely done bangers and mash, and well executed duo of beef roast (wife loved it). Sea bass received compliments from friend too. Billionaire fries were meant for baby (she ended up sleeping through) which meant we got to enjoy it - very more-ish!

Second review added to the below as we love this pub restaurant and have been twice more! There was more atmosphere this time as there were a few more people being a Wednesday lunch and not a Monday. So all being fair, I've increased the star rating now. The service was much better too. Millie was very sweet. There was an error with the dietary requirement, which I luckily noticed and Millie got this quickly rectified. This time we had the surf & turf and the seabass. Again, the food was 5*....only wish you could do an onion loaf like Miller & Carter (since you own them and do the same tasty beef dripping). The wine selection by the glass needs to be upgraded and more choice to match the terrific food, but aside from that everything was great and Olivia was as friendly and kind as always. ----------‐---- Olivia, the manager, was lovely on the phone. She was really kind and patient helping us check our allergens with the dishes we wanted. On arrival, too, she was so sweet and caring, friendly as well. Reza, the waiter, seemed rather tired and unfocused, but as we got chatting at the end he was more smiley and attentive. He didn't check if our meals were OK until he cleared the plates and we had to chase our drinks at the beginning. We would have liked him to be more welcoming from the outset. Chefs Sorin and Adrian gave us food to die for. Quality and tasty, nicely presented. Only criticism was a couple of ingredients seemed to be left out (artichoke crisps and dates in the risotto), but it was sooooo good we didn't care this time. The gravy with the rotisserie chicken was delicious and homely. Everything was served hot. If you want high-end food in a gorgeous setting, this is your place. Gluten free and dairy free was easily accommodated as promised. We swapped chips for vegetables. Reza said there were four vegetables in the vegetables side order, but we only got broccoli and beans. Nonetheless, they were cooked perfectly and not too al dente. We asked the waiter to check again if the scallops starter could be amended for us and it was. Beautiful new decor from a few years ago and food quality has improved immensely. Not so busy as it was a late Monday lunch time, but there was still a pleasant and calm atmosphere. It was also very clean everywhere. You definitely get what you pay for here. It was my Mum's birthday and our visit to your restaurant made her day as we've had a rough few years. Thank you so much!! See you again soon.

I had a lovely Sunday roast at the Arkley with friends for my birthday. The food is delicious, not just a standard roast dinner. All the elements had lovely flavour and seasoning, and the chicken was really tender. My friends had the beef and the lamb and finished their plates too. Desserts are also lovely and you can get a mini version of you are feeling too full after. There’s a lovely cosy feel with the open fire in the lounge. Our server Milly was very attentive. Can’t fault anything at all. Will definitely be back again! Highly recommend

We came here for Sunday lunch and shared the roast platter which included the trio of roasts. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. There was an ample amount of side dishes, sauces and gravy. We worked our way slowly through the food and managed to eat it all, plus we had the trio of deserts! The staff were attentive and responsive. A 5 out of 5 experience.

Had a lovely birthday dinner yesterday. The steaks we ordered was excellent quality and beautifully cooked. We've been to other local pubs and this is the best steak we've had in Barnet. My sea bass was delicious and the lobster sauce it came with was so tasty. My son's slow cooked beef rib was melt in the mouth texture and another winner. The spaghetti bolognese was a very good portion and delicious. The chips and vegetable side was perfectly cooked. Kudos to the chef. The service was very attentive and we had a lovely banquette table for our family celebration. Thank you to the manager and staff for the lovely surprise tequila shots at the end! We will be back.

A Pleasant Lunch Experience I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant, and I must say, it was a lovely experience overall. I opted for the seafood spaghetti, and it did not disappoint. The service was impressively fast, and the dish was served at the perfect temperature, which definitely enhanced my enjoyment. One of the first things that caught my attention was the restaurant's cleanliness and ambiance. The place was immaculate, and the decor added to its charm. I truly appreciate a clean environment in a dining establishment, and this restaurant certainly lived up to my expectations in that regard. Moving on to the facilities, the toilets were also clean and well-maintained. It's always a good sign when even the restroom reflects the restaurant's commitment to cleanliness and customer satisfaction. As for the drink I ordered, it was decent, but I felt it lacked a bit of flavor. Perhaps a more robust option or a creative twist on the drink would have made it more enjoyable. Nonetheless, it didn't overshadow the rest of the dining experience. The waiters attending to my table were attentive and efficient, ensuring that I had everything I needed. However, I couldn't help but notice that a few more smiles from them would have added a warmer touch to the service. All in all, it was indeed a very good lunch experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to dine here again. The fast service, delightful seafood spaghetti, and overall cleanliness of the restaurant left a positive impression on me. With a few small adjustments, such as improving the drink's flavor and encouraging the staff to be even more welcoming, this place has the potential to become truly exceptional. If you're looking for a pleasant dining spot with efficient service and delicious dishes, this restaurant is definitely worth a try.
