We had a marvellous time and were extremely well looked after by our kind and caring hosts. Superb location and house, comfortable beds and a superb breakfast with fresh local produce. We will return.

We had an amazing time at the Wooden Cabbage. The location was idyllic, with stunning views of the countryside. The gardens were beautiful with lovely sunsets. Hosts Susie and Martyn were brilliant. Very welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Also Susie's raspberry jam, variety of compotes and home made granola, which we had at breakfast were truly delicious! Rooms were clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities. The surrounding area has plenty to do and see, with great restaurants nearby. We will definitely be returning!

Our stay at Wooden Cabbage was absolutely perfect - from the breathtaking views and gorgeous setting to the hosts who made our stay so unique and special with delicious breakfasts every morning in the most beautiful room over looking their garden, Martyn and Susie really went out of there way - they were so kind and gave us fantastic dinner recommendations and helpful tips. We were so sad to leave their heavenly home and cannot wait to visit again soon.

The only thing to grumble about was that there was nothing to grumble about. Nothing. On the other hand the hosts were interesting, interested, and hospitable, the breakfast was excellent, the house interior full of interesting pictuures, objets, and great plants. The garden was Chelsea standard and the views spectacular. Very special. Thanks.

From the moment I contacted them, they were incredibly responsive, they scheduled a visit at a time that suited me, and they arrived promptly, wasting no time in diagnosing and fixing the problem. Very happy with the standard of work Chris carried out. We had a new fuse box put in, sockets installed and a fault with our shower isolator remedied; all done efficiently and very neatly. Chris was professional, honest and got on with the job at hand. Competitively priced and wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use again. Nice one!

We contacted Chris to install electrics and network cabling in our new office unit in Bristol. From the first meeting with Chris, all the way throughout the project, working with Chris was extremely collaborative and professional. Chris completed the work to a great level of quality, and was flexible when we had to make some minor design changes along the way. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris, and we will certainly contact Chris again for any future work.

I cannot recommend Chris at Entrust enough. His knowledge is A1. His ideas and designs have the perfect balance to meet practical as well as aesthetic requirements. He is a very friendly and personable chap. He is very aware he is working in your home and we felt very comfortable leaving him to work independently and trusted him with keys to our property. His work standard is A1 as is his efficiency. His pricing matched his quotes and he went above and beyond in every way to make sure we were 100% happy with every aspect of his work. He was very tidy, always using dust sheets and vacuuming up after every visit. You wouldn't have known he'd even been here. We will never use anyone else. Do use Chris, you won't be disappointed.

We would highly recommend and am more than satisfied with the services provided by LET Electrical & renewables. Right from the initial introduction to Lewis and his services he was very informative and he patiently listened and answered all questions. Lewis handled all paperwork and assisted with the finance application and kept us updated at every stage of the order and installation. On the day of the installation Lewis and his team were very efficient and patient with us and the dogs! and kept everywhere very tidy as they worked. On finishing took all rubbish and insured that we understood how the solar panels and batteries worked and set us up with the app to view the savings (Which becomes addictive).

I have used Gavin and his team for some outside lighting installation on an Aircraft Hangar at Bournemouth Airport which I am very satisfied with. Yup, the good reviews are on point. Gavin & his team did a full rewire of my house, and every aspect of working with him was A1. Starting with a detailed and fair quote; he made great suggestions that I hadn't thought of; the works, and communications were done well and on time; he was flexible to changes in my plans....generally speaking, he has a great attitude, so all-in-all I could relax and trust that the job was in good hands.

Lovely little place. Actually more space in there than you might think. Very nice & friendly staff. Didn't have to wait too long for service & food. Very tasty meals, & excellent sized portions at a very reasonable price. Will certainly visit them again next time I'm in Dorchester.

A lovely lunch, luckily we found this one for lunch, only looked for it as I noticed the Sign a bit further down the road. Really good food. It was lovely and quiet for us, but I guess on a busy day would be just as nice as the food is good so this is what matters. Thank you so much. We were passing through Dorchester a few days ago and will certainly visit again.

Stopped for lunch at 'The Posh Partridge' when visiting Dorset on a combined business / leisure trip. It was a relaxed and pleasant place for lunch and both the service and the food was quality and nicely presented. The hot Pastrami sandwich I had was very tasty, as was the toasted Brie and Cranberry Panini. The cost for two toasted sandwiches and two diet cokes was £20.80

A fantastic cafe, serving delicious, well priced food. We stopped for lunch and enjoyed sandwiches, soup of the day, and the crab bisque, followed by treacle and ginger tart and Bakewell tart. All of this was homemade and the portions were excellent. This cafe is not to be missed!

Joe and his colleagues did the electrical work and plumbing on our houses renovation. The electrical work carried out (mainly) by Aaron and his trusty assistant Billy is superb. Aaron is extremely methodical in his approach and it shows with the end result. We also had a mini wet room built. The end result is stunning. The tiling and the tanking beneath the tiling was done to an extremely high standard. The tiler Steve is a lovely chap and again, extremely methodical in his approach. Towards the end of the project the final bits of plumbing were completed by plumber Aaron and John. Again the work was to a high standard and it was a pleasure having them in our home. We would definitely recommend using Joe and his team and we will be next spring for the other bathroom to be renovated. Thanks Joe and team. Andy and Lisa. Also I think it’s wonderful that Joe takes on apprentices, to train the next generation of electricians.

We've been super-happy with Joe and his colleagues. Highly recommended. We discoevered Joe through a previous small job at our colttage where they were sub-contracted by our builder. This week, they replaced a whole lot of ageing night-storage heaters with modern, programmable radiators at our rather old and crumbly cottage in Dorset. Joe gave great advice, answering every email really quickly. We were away when they did the job over a couple of days. We returned to find everything completed absolutely perfectly. The cabling from our meter was rewired as needed. Everything just right. New radiators installed, firmly fixed to our walls of various weird and historic materials. Other than the radiators being installed, we wouldn't have known they'd been here! The heavy old contraptions full of grime and bricks had been dismantled and taken away without any fuss, or dust. Through no fault of theirs, one of the new radiators had a little fault. They responded instantly and had sourced and installed a new one within 24 hours. Unbelievable! Everything friendly, cheerful, efficient, responsive and charged exactly the price agreed in advance. We are very happy (and warm!) bunnies indeed. Thank you Joe and Mark! We came here for breakfast for my mum's birthday and it did not disappoint! The ingredients are of the highest quality, everything was cooked perfectly and the coffee was great. We were a table of 7 adults and a highchair, and the service was incredibly friendly and professional. The outdoor tables with a view were a perfect way to finish our morning with a coffee and a cannoli. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we look forward to returning soon!

The room exceeded my expectations significantly, with its stunning and unique view. We truly felt as if we were at home, but in a setting with beautiful new scenery. Situated in Dorchester, Yalbury Cottage offers a perfect base to explore the area and nearby cities such as Weymouth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, have recommended this place to others, and will continue to do so. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotlessly and well-organised. Additionally, the thoughtful touch of leaving brownies in our room upon arrival exemplifies their dedication to Yalbury Cottage and their commitment to providing each guest with an exceptional experience. I personally can't wait to return to this charming cottage for another uniquely wonderful stay.
