I could not recommend Dawn highly enough to any parent who is thinking about having a tutor for their child. My son started sessions with Dawn as a very reluctant writer, rather shy and afraid to let his imagination run wild. However, Dawn somehow understood how to get through to him and managed to unlock his potential, transforming him into a confident and passionate writer. Simultaneously she nurtured his creativity, comprehension skills and mathematical ability, providing life-long skills rather than short term fixes to pass the 11 plus exam. She is diligent, well organized and always provides personalized feedback after each session. My son secured scholarships at 2 schools that he applied for and I'm certain that Dawn was a great contributor to his success. Thank you Dawn!

Our son has attended several creative writing lessons with Dawn; he has learned invaluable techniques and skills and is now in a position to produce a well thought out piece of creative writhing. We also find Dawn’s lessons to be extremely engaging with a nice balance of discussion and writing. The group format works well as our son also picks up ideas from his peers and this has further enhanced his creativity. We were very impressed with taster session our daughter had with Dawn. She found Dawn easy to follow. She liked the way Dawn simplified the session and broke things up. She was engaged throughout, which was great to see. My husband and I were listening outside and found your style to clear and structured. We also saw how attentive and interested our daughter was and how you managed to keep the attention of the class.

Dawn is an incredible teacher. My son truly enjoys her creative writing classes. She is really clear in her guidance and makes it writing very exciting . Truly amazed by how keen my son is into writing and how well he has improved in a short time.

My daughter has had the privilege to be under Dawns mentoring in preparation for her 11+. we have sat in on the workshops, and I witness time and time again, the raw talent and gift that Dawn has with the children , in terms of engaging their attention, building their confidence, making the workshop inclusive of everyone. Her way of explaining the work is coherent, engaging, and the children can comprehend the task due to the way Dawn teaches.
