My daughter joined Tution centre in Jan 2024.She will be sitting her exams next year. The learning environment is very good.She looks forward to her next lesson .The tutors are very friendly and will give you an update about your child performance every week.She has improved a lot in her normal school lessons.I would definitely recommend tuition centre to anyone.

My daughter has had a few lessons with Mr Kumar so far. Mr Kumar, the head of Tuition Tree, has high expectations and shows a commitment to raising my daughter’s educational achievements during every lesson. We feel very blessed to have found Tuition Tree and to have lessons with Mr Kumar. He treats my daughter with respect and consideration and clearly shows concern for her development as a learner on her 11+ journey. Mr Kumar has tremendous knowledge of the 11+ which instils our faith in his lesson delivery during every session. Lessons are fun, interactive and creative whilst remaining challenging and inspiring. My daughters confidence in her maths ability has already started to strength which has been a pleasure to see. The classroom is spacious, smart and warm(!) with a calm relaxed colour scheme decorated with educational visual aids, all very conducive to focussed teaching and learning, my daughter loves it. We couldn’t be more grateful to have found Tuition Tree. Time and money is extremely well spent here, every lesson is a wonderful delight! I couldn’t recommend Tuition Tree enough. This week, our daughter has just started her first choice grammar school after successfully and comfortably passing her 11+ selective test in September 2018. It was a special moment, and was only possible thanks to the support and meticulous preparation/tuition offered by Dr Karen O'Rourke (not to be confused with other local tutors with a similar name!). She has over 20 years of tuition experience, und her consistent results are unrivaled. Her tuition is structured and meticulously planned to build the student's confidence and ability over a 2 year period from year 4, so that when they sit the exam in year 6, they are in the best possible position to attempt the test. Her goal is not just to pass the test, it is to fully prepare the student for life in a grammar school environment which I am sure will have it's own academic challenges. Tuition is held in small groups of 5, which allows her to focus on the strengths and weaknesses of every child. I can honestly say that she genuinely cares about each one of her students, and is quite selfless in her efforts to help and guide both student and parents. Naturally, parents are expected to support her totally, and be prepared to sacrifice a significant amount of time each evening to help the child with homework and learning. We cannot thank Dr Karen enough for coming into our lives, and helping us to help our daughter realize her potential. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Karen to any parent who is seriously looking to prepare their child for life in a grammar school. In fact, my son will be starting his 2 year Dr Karen journey this week, and I have every confidence that with our support, she will help him achieve his goal also.

Our daughter was tutored by Dr Karen and passed her 11 plus to achieve her goal of getting into her first choice Grammar School. I have found writing this review difficult, as I cannot adequately express our gratitude for all Dr Karen has done for our daughter. Unlike other tutors (which we have successfully had the experience of for our son), Dr Karen tutors for not only 11 plus, but just as importantly, cares enough to invest her time and vast knowledge to ensure the children learn life/study skills, which will take them beyond just passing the 11 plus. Our daughter has walked away from her 11 plus journey with good results, and a very inquisitive mind! Our daughter has had an exceptional Year 6, and received an outstanding SATs score. My son was doing really bad in maths. So near his exam i opted for the intense revision course. Amazingly everything he covered was in his exam. Wonderful tutor (Ms Kausar) and hard working. His words were "mum she is an amazing tutor and learnt more with her in the 3 week's, than i did in the two yeast of school" His confidence and understanding has boosted. He is thinking of doing maths as an A Level now. Will definitely use again. Thank you

Great tutor! My child attended these tuition sessions just few weeks prior to the 11 plus Grammar test as I left it quite late due to covid. The tutor was really good and identified the gaps where my child was lacking at. He fully supported my child to make great progress. Master 11 plus helped my son get in his first choice grammar school in Birmingham. He was good at tutoring and identifying particular topics that my soon needed more work in. The exams at the end of the course were timed and had same conditions as were present in the real exam. This really helped him. The tutor is patient and caters for all abilities unlike many other tutors. I would recommend him to any parent who’s child is preparing for the 11 plus.

A Plus Tuition is extremely benefitial to boost your child's confidence. Feraz guides them well and identifies weak areas. Prepares them with loads of practice material. We used this tuition centre for our daughter to prepare for her 11+ exams and had a really positive experience. We liked the fact that there were small class sizes of 5-6 children which allowed the tutor to focus his attention on each child individually, in particular their strengths and weaknesses, as well as building up a good rapport with ourselves and our child. One of the main differences we found with A+ Tuition (compared to some larger well known centres) was that the tutor actually took the time to get to know our child from the outset, for example by asking us questions about her SATS results and school reports- we didn’t get this from any of the other centres we enquired at, they only told us the class times and cost. Thanks to the tutor’s support and guidance our daughter passed the 11+ and secured a place in our preferred grammar school.

My wife came to England with limited language skills. She wanted to improve her English so I asked robin to tutor her. Robin was really helpful and her speaking, reading and writing skills improved quickly. To my amazement she managed to get grade 5 in GCSE English. He also helped my niece pass her exam and now she is studying to becoming a primary school teacher. Robin will be teaching my children in the future and I highly recommend him. One of the best tutors, I have ever seen! Robin has an incredible gift for teaching, his teaching methods are great- very clear and concise. He does not waste your time explaining meaningless background information and always lectures with the intent to help you understand the material. I always found very difficult in both English Language and Literature. However, the last one year, I have been able to improve massively in my learnings, due to Robin’s input. He is great at building confidence and he has helped me to get grade 9 in both English Language and Literature. I honestly would have never passed if it was not for your help! Thank you so much once again! 5 stars is not enough to describe how great of a tutor he is, I would give 10 stars. He is such a wonderful teacher and I would highly recommend Mr Robin to everyone.

Farhana has been amazing with my boys. The first session was an assessment with feedback and a plan of action of where focus is needed. I was amazed at how in 1 hour Farhana picked up the boys strengths and weaknesses exactly. The boys come home with their books so I can see what work they have done and some minimum homework they need to focus on. Could not recommend enough.

Really amazing place to get your children from ages 11 to 16 for tutoring. I was a student here, and honestly the teacher is really impressive of how he teaches, and is a really nice human in general to support your children with your successes, he is really respectful and asks us personally if we need any help even though if he explained it multiple times. I would honestly persevere to invest in your child’s future to let them occupy their study with them to further their intellect, and get the top grades. It was a great help sending my son here for tuition to help prepare for his SAT exams. He lacked confidence at the start of the year but as he was targeted for greater depth he needed motivation and guidance and with the help of the tutors at this centre he has excelled and went into the SAT exams very confident. We’ve used this centre for 3 years across two kids. My eldest needed GCSE maths rescue – they identified his gaps (algebra was a mess) and rebuilt his foundation with weekly drills. He went from a 4 to a 7. My youngest started Year 2 maths here; the tutors use physical blocks and puzzles to make numbers tangible. What I love: they don’t rush the kids.
