Master 11 plus helped my son get in his first choice grammar school in Birmingham. He was good at tutoring and identifying particular topics that my soon needed more work in. The exams at the end of the course were timed and had same conditions as were present in the real exam. This really helped him. The tutor is patient and caters for all abilities unlike many other tutors. I would recommend him to any parent who’s child is preparing for the 11 plus.

My daughter has been having lessons with BMH Tutors for a number of years and she thoroughly enjoys her Maths & English lessons. It was a great help sending my son here for tuition to help prepare for his SAT exams. He lacked confidence at the start of the year but as he was targeted for greater depth he needed motivation and guidance and with the help of the tutors at this centre he has excelled and went into the SAT exams very confident. Our daughter was tutored by Dr Karen and passed her 11 plus to achieve her goal of getting into her first choice Grammar School. This week, our daughter has just started her first choice grammar school after successfully and comfortably passing her 11+ selective test in September 2018. It was a special moment, and was only possible thanks to the support and meticulous preparation/tuition offered by Dr Karen O'Rourke (not to be confused with other local tutors with a similar name!). She has over 20 years of tuition experience, und her consistent results are unrivaled. Her tuition is structured and meticulously planned to build the student's confidence and ability over a 2 year period from year 4, so that when they sit the exam in year 6, they are in the best possible position to attempt the test. Her goal is not just to pass the test, it is to fully prepare the student for life in a grammar school environment which I am sure will have it's own academic challenges. Tuition is held in small groups of 5, which allows her to focus on the strengths and weaknesses of every child. E.T.S tutoring service is absolutely 💯 wonderful, from the moment I called to ask if they could help my child with upcoming GCSE exams they assured me they could help. ETS has a sound 11+ mock system that indicates your child's strengths & weaknesses. I used this mock system 4 months before the exam. The feedback was comprehensive. So much so that I asked ETS to take on my child & provide him the further help needed to take him up to the exam. Before the mock, my son reported finding nonverbal reasoning challenging. After 2 sessions with Mr Parekh my son said: " Am now finding nonverbal reasoning very easy, thanks to Mr Parekh. He doesn't just tell you the answers and move on, he actually explains why the answer is correct" My son went on to pass the 11+. One outstanding feature of ETS's teaching is their willingness to see the child if he came a little early for his next tutorial in order to get a little extra help from the tutor if he was struggling with a particular problem in his homework schedule. My son reported: "Communication from the tutor was very clear, excellent in fact."

I used the services for my son, and he got his place at Bishop Vesey. I totally recommend the mock tests, with good feedback received. The online programme was excellent way of breaking down all the elements in short 15 minute exercises, so you have no excuse for the children not doing the work. We could see progress and feedback. The centre staff are so helpful and will guide you.

My daughter was struggling to catch up after the pandemic and unfortunately was moved from top set maths to foundation at the end of year 9. Through a friend who informed me of ETS in Great Barr and gave positive feedback for both of his children that had previously attended I did not hesitate to enrol my daughter. So far so good! My experience with Mr Kumar has been very positive. He has always explained clearly what the expectations are for the session as well aa advised on the longer term direction which I have found enlightening. My son enjoys his sessions and has engaged so well. I usually find it difficult to get my son to settle with a new teacher, however it has become quite a success in a short space of time. Me and the family look forward to Adam learning more and maybe teaching us a thing or two 😊. The sessions are at an advanced level beyond his year group and is giving him quite a challenge that he is embracing and very excited about learning more.
