It's never too late to start, with less than 8 weeks before the exams my daughter started maths tutoring with Anna after a disappointing mock result. With the tailored tutoring and positive encouragement she achieved two grades higher. Apologies, a little late to review 😅 First of all I highly recommend INICIO!! If you are looking for a GCSE maths tutor then you are in the right place. No need for hesitation. My son was working towards a grade 4 in his maths mock exam. After a short period of being tutored via online by the lovely Tilly, he got a grade 6 in his GCSE maths exam, just what he needed to get into college to study A levels. Josh has been working with my son on his A level Computer Science. He is a fantastic tutor and has developed a good rapport with my son who thinks he’s really great - in my experience if a student respects their tutor they will be more willing to engage and that’s certainly what’s happened with Josh! My son started A-level computer science with Josh at Sandeman tutoring a few months ago. He has a very friendly teaching style and always takes guidance on what my son wants to cover. Some topics are quite complex & Josh is very good at breaking it down and explaining the theory in ways that are much easier to understand. The sessions have greatly improved my sons confidence in the subject and he found his last few tests at school 'easy' which for me as a parent is always great to hear. It's awful when your child is struggling, and mine was, but Josh has given him the support he really needed and I can't even put into words how grateful I am. My daughter attended a one-to-one lesson online for 2 yrs till she completed GCSE in year 11 for Maths and English. What I like most was the regular feedback after each lesson given by the tutors. Dee has such amazing tutors who are dedicated to their craft and help to grow confidence in the children. A little while into the sessions when Dee realised that the English lessons were not aligned to the exam board my daughter will be taken for GCSE, contrary to what we told her; she advised me to find a tutor that is aligned to that particular exam board. This showed that she was dedicated to the children’s need and not just about making money. The care and precision taken to understand each child’s needs was very impressive for me. My daughter was able to attain 8 in maths with the constant help and growth from the tutors. My Daughter really enjoys her lessons with Annabel , she’s very shy but was happy to go in on her own during her 1st taster session and even asked if she could go the next day. I get feedback and photos from annabel after each session which is great. You can tell Annabel really loves teaching children and she’s a lovely lady.

Annabel is fantastic! She does half hour sessions with our son to help with his maths and English skills and it didn't phase her that our son has Dyslexia and Annabel is great at adapting to his needs. The sessions are full of fun ideas, lots of praise and most importantly keeping education the forefront. I am so happy and impressed with how my son is getting on at Bedford Tutor in such little time. Have been attending since late-September. Very supportive and caring teachers, very smooth admission process along with co-operative and prompt admin team. A brief 10 mins test at the start of each lesson is helpful, in addition to the mock exams every weekends, helps with both the recall of the subject specific knowledge along with the exam techniques. I highly recommend St Mary's Education Academy for the GCSE students!

Can highly recommend David. He’s been tutoring my daughter for her GCSE maths. She finds the one on one sessions extremely helpful and gets an awful lot from them. So much so that she’s been moved up a set at school and is on track for achieving good GCSE results

My 18 year old son has worked really hard as an apprentice bricklayer for the last 2 years but cannot qualify until he has a qualification in Maths. Unfortunately, he failed numerous attempts to pass a maths exam at college so I booked 1 session a week at Kip McGrath. Brad worked with Alan who he immediately felt comfortable with and slowly but surely started getting somewhere, understanding more and most important, feeling more confident than ever. My child really enjoys learning that is tailored to his needs in steps that are achievable. His confidence has grown and he is applying his learning to his school work. The staff are friendly, encouraging and take the time to know your child. Communication has been great and they have made learning purposeful, engaging and fun. I would highly recommend.
