Probably the best food cafe in Gravesend. Fantastic food at great prices. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, they have something tasty for you. I eat there regularly and will probably be eating there more after this amazing mixed grill.

Visited numerous times and always received great service, generous portions, value for money and complete quality! What a gem! I popped in for breakfast. Absolutely spotless, superb food - no cheap ingredients - big mug of lovely coffee, table service. All at unbelievable prices. Coffee/tea and toast/bread included in the price. All this for £5.95!! 👌

The best Romanian food I’ve had. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was amazing. The restaurant was such a nice vibe beautifully decorated and a family run business. I really recommend the papanași as a desert it’s was freshly made and so tasty! The owner is very warm and welcoming and the menu is in English and Romanian. 10/10 I would recommend it here. Came here for a birthday meal with friends after seeing such good reviews. This unassuming restaurant in Gravesend was a hidden gem. The Server explained the menu to us- helped by photos on the wall. We were served freshly cooked delicious food. We took our own alcoholic drinks- and were provided glasses and bottle openers. The service is unhurried and relaxed. Metal chopsticks and spoons are the supplied cutlery. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend if you want a change from Chinese/Indian.

A bijou Korean cafe/diner that is friendly, welcoming and authentic. While some people might want bougie décor, for me, the chef and host welcoming you in and making you feel comfortable outweighs any need for any need for sophistication in my surroundings. I've been here twice now in a week, first with my daughter and then with my friend. The food at this place is absolutely, without doubt, some of the best food I've ever tasted.. not just the best korean food, but the best food full stop. Please, anyone reading this thinking about trying this place, don't hesitate, it's reasonably priced, great portions, and absolutely delicious

Great place for a few drinks. Interesting downstairs basement with pool table. Unfortunately music too loud. Would be 5 stars if you didn't have to yell over the music just to be heard. Background music should be that, background music. I imagine the basement would be fantastic with some background jazz, but maybe that's not their style. Will come again and hope the music isn't as loud.

Trying the new menu at the Kent cocktail bar and my I say I was taken away. The food is prepared and cooked to perfection. It came out promptly and this is now and will have to say my preferred choice of food. Compliments to the chef. Well done and can’t wait to return.

Courteous staff, eager to welcome and ensure the kids had a great time by constantly checking to see if there were needs to be met. I only feel we were not really at liberty to choose our own seats. We were ushered to seats that ordinarily I wouldn't pick as we sat too close to some folks I considered slightly loud, not too muchbof a big deal. But, again, the meals and staff would score 💯 or very close. Weldone.

My family and I stopped by Mad Italy for a quick bite and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant was impeccably clean, which immediately set a positive tone. The staff were not only friendly but also highly professional. Their attire was top-notch, adding an extra touch of class to the overall dining experience. The food was excellent, with each dish bursting with flavour. The desserts were equally impressive, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Mad Italy and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful meal. I went for lunch time, the staff was nice and atmosphere as well. We seated outside, it was nice. We had vegetarian pizza and buffala. The place is expensive because in the vegetarian pizza we had to add the mozzarella (2 pound) and we took tiramisù which the portion was too little but price too high. But on the all it was good. The quality of food was excellent.

Risotto del Boscu mmmmm wowsers! And the carpaccios were just excellent. Steak also great. What a Lovely place, full of welcoming staff who really care and so proud about great food and great service. We enjoyed everything. Had fun and am of the opinion It’s the only place i’d go again to in Gravesend after that meal. The chef and owners are from Sicily and have won several awards…. A little gem in the East! Nice interiores too and central in town.

Love it in here, food is brilliant and staff are great but it's just SO cold in winter because the door won't close properly. Seem to remember it was the same last year (and probably the one before that too!) so really should do something about it.

Their “mega scottish breakfast” is a “full english breakfast” with a twist, one of the best breakfasts in town. Location is the indoor market hall, which is more noisy than your regular cafe, with cheesy music playing in the background.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better bacon sandwich in town. I was really tempted by their enormous homemade sausage rolls too - they're packed full and look great. Really good cup of coffee too, from a proper espresso machine served in a lovely earthenware mug. But the best thing of all is Chrystal herself, or Faye. Her and her partner are so welcoming, friendly and willing to chat with their customers. You can see they get on well with all the other stallholders which makes for a lovely community feel in the market. I'll be going back regularly.

Well im very sorry but i do disagree with the comment above . If we are busy lunch times which we frequently are we (staff) try are very best to serve the food on time , make your hot drinks asap an keep an overall happy atmosphere like u would expect when u come to dine at sizzling cafe . If u see us rushing around its because we are trying our best to make sure every thing is as it should be an the customers are happy with every thing . Which i might add they normally are an happy with the meals that are served to them . If we haven't got the time to chat to u for long I do apologise but bare in mind we are working an trying are very best to please every one . An the lunch times can b very busy . But overall customers are satisfied an happy with there meals daily . An always come back again to eat at the cafe .

After going to a wedding, and staying in an expensive hotel, we came across this cafe on our way home back towards ashford, to find it was so retro, it was stunning. Very reasonably priced and the staff were absolutely fabulous, we were greeted with a smile and a hello and the service was very prompt, meals were hot, the bread was fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Amazing find and highly recommended. We were met with a genuine, friendly and warm welcome by the owner and team. Good selection of tasty food at a very reasonable price.
