Reviews
The food is nice and generous, spicy and succulent. Shame they somehow make some dishes sweet!!! Spoils it.
11 of us went here last night for my Mum's birthday. It was really busy so obviously very popular. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. Food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly. We had a lovely evening. They even played the happy birthday song and brought out a cheesecake with a candle in for my Mum with the added bonus of a big bottle of beer (which they knew my Mum liked as she was drinking lager anyway π). Would highly recommend and will definitely go back.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this establishment. The quality, quantity & freshness of food is amazing! Our daughter (15) is autistic & struggles with food sensitivity. However, she cleared the plate & asked for more. Safe to say this has now become 1 of our family favourite takeaways (order through justeat!) Big thanks to the management of the restaurant ;0)
It's the second time I've been to The Watling and both times have been excellent. Food was lovely the best Indian I've had in a long time. Also, even though they were extremely busy on a Friday evening near Christmas, the service was still good. We will be back when we are next in the area. ... PREVIOUS REVIEW In unfamiliar surroundings and looking for a nice Indian restaurant we found Watling Rasoi on Google. It seemed to have nice reviews and pictures looked good. We called on a Easter Thursday and managed to get a table within 15 minutes. Wow, it was lovely. A very friendly welcome and very accommodating even though we wanted a different table. Great selection of drinks and probably the best draft Cobra I've had in a long time. They even had Cranberry juice!.. Great selection of dishes, Salmon Tikka, and other Salmon dishes. Nice to see Broccoli side and Courgette side, we indulged in both π. Poppadoms were fresh crispy and Tasty with a good selection of chutneys. Garlic Chili Chicken was also very tasty. The service was friendly and efficient throughout the whole evening without being overbearing. Such a lovely find at last minute. Thank you very much guys we will be back.
Excellent food quality and good value. I even was able to see the chef's making meat samosa from scratch rather than just using frozen
Well done!!
