I love Hearsall golf club! So much so that I am now a member. Lovely well kept, challenging but rewarding course, brilliant staff and a top notch club house!

A group of golfing friends and myself played our annual golf competition at Hearsall Golf Club on Wednesday and it was a superb day which everyone fully enjoyed... We all had a breakfast prior to the competition were the staff couldn't have been more helpful and courteous ..... The golf course was in immaculate condition, the fairways were the best we had played on and the greens were fantastic, true and accurate and are easily up to professional standards.... I would also recommend the course to everyone, if you haven't played there you must try it, you wouldn't be disappointed.

Can only comment on the building and rooms for events, for example wedding reception, not the actual golf course. 2 main rooms, one with bar suitable for disco. Large opening to connecting room with tables for wedding party. Decorated chairs, table clothes etc. Space between tables but for a big party it would be cramped. Max 50ish I would say. Staff were helpful setting up and made any ammendments asked for. Food buffet was acceptable but not a high standard although there was plenty of it. Generally quite basic although other options might have been available. Bar service was fast and efficient, prices reasonable. It would have been great if coffee/tea had been available at the buffet for those that wanted it. Some outside space if fresh air needed. In the Summer the patio would have open and a pleasant space. Due to size of rooms and layout not obvious where to make speeches from so all could see and hear. A microphone would have helped. The decoration is a little basic, plain and not interesting. Lightening could be improved, wall lights old and ugly. Toilets excellent, clean and close to the rooms. Overall I would say it is satisfactory but could be excellent with not too many changes Car park quite small for a wedding venue but many arrived and left via taxi.

Really good carvery on and Really good staffs including Anna. Always go there every year with the Matrix Bowls Club. I say that there is no one better to do the Carvery than the Hearsall Golf Club. Look after my Bowls Club 100 per cent

A first time playing this welcoming venue. We enjoyed the interesting course layout, and smooth, fast greens. Good service from bar and catering staff, with a tasty two-course meal too. The club needs to have more than the four buggies currently on offer, as several of our group were unable to play - they're losing revenue! On our list for a return visit.

One of the best in Birmingham, greens pure and fast. Every hole keeps your mind active. Friendly club and staff. Range and chipping area for that medal warm up. Back in 2018 👍

Little Aston is a fantastic golf club. The whole experience is top class. From the friendly welcome from the Professional. The bar and catering staff and the very welcoming members. The course is superb and in spectacular condition. Manicured fairways, fast firm greens and strategically placed bunkers make it a very enjoyable, but testing round of golf. 10/10

Played here and considering a very wet winter the course was in excellent condition! What impressed most was the welcome as a visitor we were made to feel very welcome by staff and the other members! It felt to us like the club had a very nice culture throughout! Will certainly return!

Played at Little Aston as part of a society, the course was in immaculate condition. There are a lot of bunkers which make the course a challenge. They too are very well maintained. The welcome we had from the staff at the club made us feel right at home and we were well looked after right up until we left after dinner.

One of the finest courses in the UK. Every golfer should play here once. It's not cheap, but it's worth it. Friendly staff and atmosphere not at all stuffy, even considering its exclusivity and quality.

Went for 80th birthday party. Really nice venue. All the staff (who were all quite young) were so helpful and pleasant. Really made you feel welcome. The food - buffet style - was really nicely done, beef, salmon and roast ham. Nice atmosphere really enjoyed it.

Really nice course and clubhouse. It's got a quality series of par 3 holes - all of them are very good. I was disappointed when we got stuck behind a six-ball that jumped in. I'm not sure if that's a regular thing members do here, but i still enjoyed the course and facilities.

Great experience today, shame we didn’t have time for a beer after very well kept and great layout. Only criticism would be bunkers didn’t have enough sand in some, overall though one of best courses I’ve played well worth the money

A walk through for coffee, on a summers evening, in a little quiet village, through the yellow gates, across the perfect greens, along the nature of the green lane. Been across the mowed lawns, hedgerows before, but never written a review. Ideal for birds, other wild life. You to can up up at a coffee in Coleshill, then back to the car.

Great parkland course, greens quite fast, nicely manicured. Clubhouse has had plenty of money spent on it, and it shows. Great visitor changing and shower facilities, bar area very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the 18th and the rest of the course. Great signature hole over water at the 5th. Staff accommodating and welcoming.

Walmley is an absolutely top class Golf course. The welcome from the club professional was very friendly and informative. The course is a good test of golf and the condition, as always, was fantastic! In my opinion, it's one of the best maintained golf courses in the West Midlands. The greens staff were working on the bunkers and cutting the rough. The attention to detail on the course is a credit to them. Ots just a shame my game wasn't as high class as the surroundings. If you're looking for a game, or to join a club, I'd definitely recommend Walmley.

Visited as a party of 12. Excellent golf course in superb condition. Steve Carter the professional made the booking process easy and was very welcoming on the day. The food and catering staff were top notch. We would all come back to Walmley without hesitation.

Wow what a brilliant golf course even at this time if year. The clubhouse is very welcoming and I would rate the course better than Hollinwell in Nottingham. Not cheap but what price for quality

Excellent course with quality greens that are very well protected by many bunkers. We visited for the first time in late August and were made very welcome in the Professional shop with everything explained in detail. Followed up with some lovely food & beers in the 19th, again served by very friendly and helpful staff .. Highly recommended Golf Club, we will be returning .

Superbly set up pro-am which went ahead only a day after a terrible storm. Huge credit to the green keepers for getting the course in the shape it was. As the website says it's ideal for winter golf, which is true. The food we had after was absolutely delicious. I've never played here until now and I'd love to come back in the summer and play it again.

I visited Moseley golf club using the 1892 reciprocal courtesy arrangements, what a very friendly club, the members very friendly on the course asking if we are enjoying the course which was in perfect condition. A word on the director of golf Micheal Bayliss he was very welcoming and very obliging showing us around the clubhouse making sure we knew where to go. A very enjoyable visit Phil Bennett

I've played here a few times as a guest, winter and summer and the course is always in good condition. The greens in summer are some of the fastest I've played, and with some tricky breaks can pose some real problems. The clubhouse is good too, with decent food and a nice patio to soak up the sun in the summer. Worth a visit.

I’m a member at Moseley, and with 3yr old grandson in tow attended the Children’s Christmas party which was absolutely fantastic, a super Father Christmas. Another benefit of being a member of this great old club.
