I was at the Avry last night (NYE) and it was very busy, the young lady was on her own serving everyone the best she could, this was not her fault. Laura read the room a little better, don't be rude to a young girl on her own... does it make you feel important? The fact this is your first review specks volumes about you.
I am a local and if anyone reading this thinking about coming to the airy, please do, its a great place.

Attended The Avry yesterday as somewhere to have a few birthday drinks with a family group of adults and teenagers. Contacted The Avry in advance and they offered to reserve an area for us. The communication was quick and easy. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the venue and atmosphere was great with something for us all, kept the kids well entertained with pool table and darts, the pizzas were fab and we all had a great time. Will definitely go back!
We were recommended this place a while ago and gave it a go & we are glad we did. It’s a quirky environment with a mixed friendly crowd. They have a happy hour 4-6pm daily and do a locals discount card which is a bonus! They also have planned themed evenings and events going on which adds to the environment. The beer is good and there is a good selection of spirits & other alcoholic drinks and coffee is also available, being lager drinkers the Poretti is a great lager, and they have neck oil available as an alternative, cocktails are also available which is great. They have just started doing a breakfast bacon sandwich, which we’ve yet to try. Wi-Fi is available. The bar has 2 golf lanes available, a pool table, a games room which is ideal for kids, plus other games. The staff are great, especially Rachel who welcoming, very friendly and a great social person & knows her clients well. I can highly recommend Avry.
A warm welcome awaits at the home of indoor golf Choice of courses and skill levels. Great drink offers and wonderful company and staff. The bacon brioche is a must !
