Amazing day from start to finish at my Sisters wedding. Drinks reasonably priced for a golf club venue. The ceremony, breakfast and evening reception were just perfect. The staff were really welcoming, plenty of bar staff working the bar so never waited to be served. The food was beautiful as were the surroundings as was the standard of the ceremony/function room and the way it was dressed. Absolutely wonderful venue, team of catering and bar staff and the view from the outdoor seating area on the large balcony was the cherry on the cake.

This is an amazing golf club, great staff including the pro shop, catering, 19th hole and management. Not only is the golf great, we also had the pleasure of using the function room for a recent party, everybody at the club was superb and made the day so special.

Excellent golf course for those who play. Fine views if you don't! Relatively new clubhouse and function rooms, can be hired with large room, ideal for weddings and family celebrations.

Played in your mixed greensomes event today.. What a beautiful gem of a course. Almost reminded me of my old home course. Best bunkers I think I've ever seen, Greens ***** hopefully judge the pace a little better on our next visit 😊 Keep up the great work all 👏👏

Great course. A challenge. Practice facilites are good too, with a range, practice nets and separate chipping and putting areas. Great pro shop, well stocked. Good clubhouse feel and the food was excellent.

We attended a function in the golf club function room the place is really nice and the staff on the bar were excellent they served people efficiently they were freindly and helpful all the way through their service a credit to the club

Fairways are really nice to hit off. Spongy and in great condition. Greens are a little dry in places but very true. Some short par 4's but also some brutal par 4's. Lovely layout and thoroughly recommend it. Saw someone's bag in the pond on the 18th which made me chuckle. Though surprised no one has cleaned it up and put it in a bin as seems to have been there a long time.

We came back from France for my sister in laws birthday meal held at the Golf club on the 9th of November. A very pleasant setting with friendly, welcoming staff. One of the bar staff was particularly helpful, I didn't have a poppy to commemorate Armistice day as I had arrived the day before. She very kindly found one for me. I would strongly recommend it.

As a beginner, find the course short enough to be achievable for most in a reasonable time frame, while also encouraging good play and course management in how you play (rather than raw distance off the tee if clubhead speed is something you struggle with). Minimal facilities but drinks, snacks and golf essentials (gloves, balls, etc) available and really friendly staff. Very well maintained course throughout; I've been back twice already!

Me and My 2 boys contacted them to play when we travelled to Manchester from Boston in May 2023. They were very helpful and nice. Rental clubs were available, and course was a fun change from local Boston courses. Staff was great..... Recommend for a fun day.

I’ve played here a lot over the years and the new guys running it have got it into the best condition I’ve ever seen it. Quite hilly and a lot of blind shots but if you’re hitting it straight it’s not a problem. Some excellent holes and some amazing views. One of the best courses in the north west without a doubt.

Great course. Fantastic views some really good holes. Ended up with a birdie and five pars. Shot under 100 for the first time. Only negative play was really slow. Got stuck behind two four balls and I was on my own. Some daunting tee shots but a great challenge

Very good pitch and putt course, has plenty of features and challenges that will bring you back playing it again and again - no two rounds are the same. Generally has been well maintained and a few holes now have new teeing off mats however some need replacing.

Great price of. £15 for 18 holes 2 very jolly ladies in the pro shop. First hole no drivers allowed due to houses and if your a slicer you will see why nice and flat 1 to 8 then it’s as they call it heart attack hill few blind shots unless you know the course considering the rain we have had the course in not to bad shape bit muddy in places hole 17 is signature hole, greens have suffered due to weather besides that one to knock off the list

Had a lovely time on this course, would highly recommend. A very challenging round, with beautiful views over Manchester. Ground was very well kept. Will definitely be back again, cheers guys! Just to let you know, the 16th hole is quite difficult to find, sign has fallen down so we walked past it a couple times without realising, just had to keep a close eye out for the tee markers.

Lovely course, well kept and although quite a bit easier than other challenges in the area, me and my playing partner still had a great time! If you hit it well off the tee you might make a fair few birdies… Price is ace and the clubhouse food was very good and reasonable too.

Prestwich golf club is a inner city parkland course that you can complete in just over 3hrs offering a good challenge with a nice club house and friendly members

A lovely golf course and very challenging, not long, but very tricky, you have to be very straight or you are in trouble. A 180 yd club will be perfect for most holes as the fairways will do the rest. Majority of bunkers are GUR but the greens are very good. Gentlemen called Paul in the pro shop was an absolute gentlemen and pleasure to meet, he could not do enough for me. I will be revisiting.

Born and bred on this golf course, cannot reckonise any hole having said that it was 60 yrs ago. It was 1964 when I became a junior member...many famous faces I remember from coronation Street cast especially Eddie Shah who famously started up his own tabloid. Those were happy days and Eddie if you're still out there, give us a bell cos when you missed your shot on the seventh hole and you threw your brand new aluminum shafts into the tree, I didn't think you would go back a climb a tree at ur age

Loved it here! Staff are very friendly and helpful and so are the fellow golfers who frequent this venue. The prices are amazing - £6.5 for 96 balls on the driving range + they provide the club. The scenery is very nice and it was a pleasure to play on. Definitely would come back again!

A great little golf course. Excellent value at £4.50 per adult and I think £3.50 per child (but I'm not 100% sure of the children's cost). The cost per round of 9 holes includes the hire of a putter and iron as well as two golf balls and the score card and pencil. It has some beautiful views and is especially great on a nice sunny day (but you may need a hat, drink and some suncream if it's too hot as there isn't much shade). It took two of us around 45 - 60 minutes to complete the 9 holes. They also have a cafe selling some food, drinks and ice creams. Some areas of the course can be boggy (especially if it has been recently raining) so suitable footwear is advised. The club has no dress code and bank holiday times vary so you may want to call up before going if it's later on in the day.

Nice little place to visit, small carpark, and a little short walk to the top, the views on a clear day are amazing, on a good day, probably see 20+ miles, views into Manchester and beyond, as this is the highest place in Oldham it can get a little chilly, so take a coat just in case.

Only came here for a wedding reception, function was was large and spacious and the balcony was nice with a good view across the golf fields. One downside is there was no baby changing room. Other than that a lovely venue.
