I'm currently sitting at the pub with Joe. Joe butted in sating he played here last week during our conversation about how coat hangers being overrated. Anyways, he said this was a lovely golf course and had a thoroughly fantastic experience. Apart from waiting 5 minutes on each tee (he's impatient, but it's worse for the people behind him when he's chopping the ball everywhere). So, good stuff wheathill.

It's probably one of the most reasonably priced golf courses in the country, with a well stocked pro shop, very good bar and food on offer. The course is just over 5300 yards, with some testing par 4 and 5's, some nice little pars 3's thrown in makes this a great course. Visited a number of times and its always on our society list each year. Will he back again.

A well maintained but fairly short course with some challenging holes. Would benefit from a clubhouse that remains open until after golfers had finished playing. The Cross Keys at Lydford provides an excellent alternative when needed.

Possible the cheapest course in the south west at £20 on a Friday morning. Played well considering the rain recently. The bunkers needed a lifeguard (and tbh a good weeding) but otherwise a very enjoyable round. Excellent signage, bins, hole markers, tees etc. and to round it off the staff and service was second to none.

Absolutely stunning. I have now played every course in somerset, and this is by far the best. Outshines all the others in terms of course layout and overall condition. Looking to join asap and will certainly never be tempted to go elsewhere once I do so.
