Rick and his team did an amazing job removing our old fencing and relocating a gate. They were professional, efficient, and attentive to detail, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free. We're thrilled with the quality of their work and definitely hope to use their services again in the near future. Highly recommended!

From day one, the team were extremely supportive of the ideas for renovation and adaptable when the circumstances changed; especially when the scope kept expanding, adding further tasks. L&R have transformed a wild front and back garden into 7 new areas. Out went the untamed boarders, shrubs and brambles, in came a blank canvas back to seeded grass; wrap around patio across the whole of the rear of the property; new off-road gravel parking, 3 wonderful bespoke sheds, wooden gazebo ready for Lazy spa/hot tub or winter outdoor seating area; new concrete driveway linking the front drive to the rear garden; and a new first impression front garden with new paths and drain covers. Throughout the project, the team were professional and hard working, cheerful during challenging moments, and adaptable when the weather changed. We are extremely grateful to L&R and the service they provided. Looking forward to enjoying the garden in 2025.

Rick and his team have done an impressive job replacing the scraggly patchy grass with artificial grass. Their work ethic is fab, they arrive at 0800 and work solidly throughout the day , they are great to have around friendly and polite with a gsh. I appreciate we chose the very good quality grass but it wouldn’t be anywhere near as fabulous if the preparation work hadn’t been done correctly. I thoroughly recommend Rick and his fab team, so much so, they’re coming back to replace the very uneven patio.

Rick and his team have just completed ‘phase 2’ of our garden project. We cannot praise them enough for their efforts and we are extremely happy with their work and our transformed garden. When the grass, hedges and plants mature it will be stunning and our haven. Acer landscapes do all of our garden and landscaping work at Queens Court in Retford, they also do all of our tree work to a very high standard I could not ask for better, the staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is ever to much trouble whether its a big or small job We will be going on to our third year with them now, would absolutely recommend them

Excellent range of plants and other products which were a range of gardening items, clothing, household, gifts and a small range of bakery, jams etc. We had an enjoyable meal in the restaurant which was extremely busy, but not a long wait. Wide selection of cakes! Plenty of parking. Aquatic section that wasn’t due to the weather. Some outside animals and birds which children (and adults) would enjoy. I found it expensive, so not my first choice of garden centre, but enjoyable for the occasional visit.

It's a family environment. They have playground for children. Separate xafe for furry friends. Food place for human and separate place for dessert 🍨 . It's got shops for clothes, shoes, fishes, aquarium .

Lovely cafe with a good menu. Staff were very helpful and service very good. I made the wrong choice with the cod and prawn fish cakes. Very disappointed as they were more like a potatoe cake no sign of any fish! Very over cooked as Deep fried to within an inch of it's life. Which was a shame as the other food our party had looked delicious and was enjoyed.

Lovely grub in the cafe, excellent quality and fresh food. The garden centre itself is also brilliant, always full of different seasonal stock and displays. The staff are also very friendly and always willing to help. One of my favourite places locally! 🙂

Lovely stop off on our drive up north. Beautiful surroundings and nice local produce in the farm shop. Great place for the kids to run around. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will try the food in the cafe next time. Wouldn’t have minded better coffee but appreciate I’m a bit of a coffee snob!

The food is yummy, specially loves the soup of the day! Christmas trees are selling and can be freshly cut from the farm! Lovely weather and lovely staffs.

Massive garden centre plenty of parking there isn't nothing you can't get here for the garden,and cracking restaurant and coffee shop

The Downtown garden centre was a worthwhile visit today. I came across a garden tool set that I’ve not seen anywhere else before, the pet section seems to have changed quite a bit, far less fish than I remember from years ago. Maybe a little more variety there now, and the garden furniture section makes me wish I had a bigger garden ☺️ Such a great store with a rich variety of items, you could spend hours there and still not see everything in just one visit. Definitely a great place for gift ideas for loved ones as well as home and garden ideas to enjoy all year round. I have also seen litter pickers there which look so much higher quality than others that I’ve seen, so will pick them up next time for my countryside walks / litter picking sessions

I simply love this garden centre. I hadn't visited for a few years, but my return visit did not disappoint. The Christmas presentation was alive with a huge selection across every conceivable product category. Colleagues were friendly and available should assistance be required, and the store was so easy to navigate. I visited around lunchtime, so I took the opportunity to eat, and I'm pleased that I did. I opted for chicken pie, chips, and veg. The food was well prepared, of good portion size, and was served in a timely fashion by a friendly server. Great job team Downtown! 👏 👏👏

Huge garden centre including a good cafe/restaurant, which seems to sell just about everything. Spacious and well laid out but not cheap. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our meals from quite an extensive menu.
