Fantastic area for a walk or picnic. Good play park for the children and very well kept gardens. Lovely.

Beautiful, large gardens with a lovely playground for children, a cafe and a tennis court. It is always well looked after and full of colourful flowers. The cafe is reasonably priced and has a selection of food, drinks, ice creams and desserts. There are toilets in the cafe building available for use by the public. There are benches and tables in the park. There are very many events held in the park regularly and lots of live music. We love visiting the park any time of year as it is always peaceful despite being busy during events. It is a dog friendly park and also a perfect spot for a picnic 😊

Well the number of times i have pasted this place looking down from the train. Well I finally got round to having a little Wanda around d what can only be described as a gorgeous well looked after little Victorian Garden. It has the Gorgeous Clock 🤩 (Definitely shows Weymouth's seafront one needs a paint). The sweet little Bandstand and the very gorgeous and slightly tucked away water fountain are all very looked after. With plenty of grassed area for sitting and paths and benches and the plentiful history. I can see why this place gets packed out sometimes. Definitely Worth a look if you are in Dorchester and a decent little place to have your take out lunch or just 15 mins you time to watch the world tick by.
