Every summer and every winter,me and the lads have a works food and drink catch up, and the food is absolutely outstanding! The price, the taste, the staff, the environment is absolutely amazing. We have tried all different places, but this is always our go back to, amazing everytime, 👏 all 6 of us always go for the double bacon cheese burger, thank you nelsons for an amazing experience, we shall be back 😊

I’m going to try the home made lasagna next time.
Salad wasn’t just a bit of lettuce, but a decent freshly prepared salad with pepper, red onion, cress ect
exceptional and very reasonably price food and drinks, the best value food in town.
The bar is full of some old characters adding to the traditional pub atmosphere.
Garden was clean and tidy, will be back soon 🍻
Travelled down from Newcastle Upon Tyne to spend the new year with friends. They took us out today for a pub meal and can’t fault it all. The staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Clean premises and the food was fantastic. Would definitely recommend
