Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Dog House. Visited here a few days before Christmas with our next door neighbours for something to eat and a few drinks. Loved the decor and ambience of the establishment. Its an olde world feel to the place but with modern twist. Staff very welcoming and friendly whilst being unobtrusive. The food was so good and was served promptly too. Can't recommend this place enough and ŵe will definitely be back. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Delicious food, fabulous service and a lovely atmosphere. The food is cooked over fire and is superb - I had the bavette steak which was cooked to perfection. We had a selection of sides and the Hisbi cabbage is highly recommended. With fire cooking the food is cooked to temperature not to time so all the main courses don’t arrive at the same time - not a problem just keep nibbling on the lovely side dishes. Will be back!!

We were visiting for the weekend from Portsmouth and we fell in love with this hidden Gem. The food was beautiful, some of the best pork belly I have ever tasted as well as the quirkiness of this pub which is divine. 10/10… if only you were closer we would be here all the time but it was perfect.

’The Dog house’ A local pub that has got it so right! Simple ‘locally sourced’ fresh food cooked as you order!!! (Large Fire oven cooked) and ALL healthy and tasty! Yes! Yes! Yes! ‘IF’ Your like hubby and I and Love Fresh local produce, cooked on a rather large fire oven/grill ‘bespoke handmade’ and using natural fresh herbs plus Spices and fresh salad and veg! Then try ‘The Dog House’ Dorset,in Gill ! Going to go again Sat with close friends coming for the day (tried it out last night beforehand) and will go again with close friends in Mere and another friend Trudie Maidment , yes Trudie it’s lovely we must go soon! So many dishes you all share at the table as each dish comes out as freshly cooked. Lovely to see your working here Hayley Warren (nice surprise! and for serving last night) See you all again Saturday lunch time 💕😋

Great service, our electric went off and the trip switch would not come back on. Called 1st class electrical, he was very helpful and arrived within 10 minutes and he found the issue and it was sorted within 30 minutes. Will definitely use again if needed

I was delighted with the quality of service provided. James helped connect a new electric towel heater and install an external socket at my home. Great job, very thorough and efficient. You wouldn’t have even known he was here afterwards - super clean and tidy. Would highly recommend and definitely use again for any electrical work!

Fabulous! One of the best coffee stops for cyclists in this corner of Dorset. We're always made very welcome. Great service, great coffee and a lovely selection of food. Great coffee and pastries. A lovely friendly atmosphere, I keep meaning to visit when I'm not on a bike.

We came here for breakfast for my mum's birthday and it did not disappoint! The ingredients are of the highest quality, everything was cooked perfectly and the coffee was great. We were a table of 7 adults and a highchair, and the service was incredibly friendly and professional. The outdoor tables with a view were a perfect way to finish our morning with a coffee and a cannoli. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we look forward to returning soon!

An absolutely outstanding service from Chris and his two electricians. They worked on our house when we were away completing the tasks in the time that was arranged. How they managed to run wires/cables on coving and behind skirting boards was a marvel. They put all the furniture back in its place and left us with no mess to tidy up. We were expecting to have to plaster and decorate however this was not necessary. The two electricians who carried out the job even looked after our cat in our absence. Very highly recommended. Had an electrical problem on a Sunday morning. Stubbs came highly recommended by a friend. Left a message and received call within minutes (none of the other companies returned my calls) Problem dealt with efficiently and professionally. I shall be using Stubbs for all of my electrical needs in the future.

Whilst I was away on holiday I rang Ricky Stubbs (owner/ partner) he not only arranged the work to be done, he was there unbelievably quick and turned up when he said and completed the work to an excellent standard. The client even told me of her gratitude and was very glad to have the issues sorted so promptly. I will be using Chris Stubbs and son again for sure. Very reliable and friendly.

During a recent storm, I had a full power outage. Ricky responded quickly and came out to fix the problem. He was professional and nothing was too much trouble despite it being late on a Saturday night. I cannot recommend him and the company enough.

Stubbs Electrical and Security have now done extensive works for us across multiple domestic jobs: CCTV, electrical gates, garden lights, security lights, meshed wifi, rewiring and maintenance/ call-out emergencies. They are very professional and polite, providing excellent quotes and always competing the work on schedule. Really impressed and happily recommend.

We stopped in while visiting from America. I would consider the White House to be an upscale pub. The ambience is great! Lots of stone and heavy wooden beams. There were lots of locals there when we were there which is always a good sign. The staff was wonderful! The food was truly excellent! Every starter and entree was done to perfection! If we lived in the area we would be here often!

A group of us are lunch at the white horse yesterday, the food is exquisite, there were 7 of us and every plate we were served was exceptionally presented and tasted amazing!!!! We contacted Chris to install electrics and network cabling in our new office unit in Bristol. From the first meeting with Chris, all the way throughout the project, working with Chris was extremely collaborative and professional. Chris completed the work to a great level of quality, and was flexible when we had to make some minor design changes along the way. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris, and we will certainly contact Chris again for any future work.

Very happy with the standard of work Chris carried out. We had a new fuse box put in, sockets installed and a fault with our shower isolator remedied; all done efficiently and very neatly. I cannot recommend Chris at Entrust enough. His knowledge is A1. His ideas and designs have the perfect balance to meet practical as well as aesthetic requirements. He is a very friendly and personable chap. He is very aware he is working in your home and we felt very comfortable leaving him to work independently and trusted him with keys to our property. His work standard is A1 as is his efficiency. His pricing matched his quotes and he went above and beyond in every way to make sure we were 100% happy with every aspect of his work. He was very tidy, always using dust sheets and vacuuming up after every visit. You wouldn't have known he'd even been here. We will never use anyone else. Do use Chris, you won't be disappointed.
