I took Lee's advice when he recommended I didn't need to replace my old draughty Victorian wooden front door with a brand new one.Instead he suggested he could weatherproof it, thereby saving me the cost of a new door and enabling me to keep the characterful door I loved.I'm so glad I was given this option. He's done such a good job- all draughts have gone and the whole house feels a lot cozier.Thanks Lee for a job well done and much appreciated sound advice.

Lee was absolutely outstanding from start to finish! He helped me a lot with working out measurements for all the doors, and answered several rounds of questions when I was putting in the order for them. He was also fantastic during the fitting when the doors arrived - so friendly and helpful. He also identified that the door handles we'd ordered were all damaged, helped us when we were selecting a different style and was so flexible when we needed to wait a day to figure everything out. Once the doors were fitted, he also did a great job of re-adjusting a few that had settled a bit and weren't quite latching - they're now great! Lee and his Grandad also did a fantastic job of fitting our new front door too, and went above and beyond to make sure it was just right, including sourcing and fitting some additional trim for the outside so it looked perfect. Would recommend Lee for any joinery jobs you need doing, and will hopefully be working with him again soon for some other jobs we've got around the house!

I was let down by a local handyman who did not turn up 4 days before Christmas to hang an internal door for me. Lee was fantastic and came to the rescue , within hours of me contacting him. He did an amazing job at a brilliant price . Thank you so much Lee . I highly recommend his joinery service.

Kallum has built some bespoke under the stairs shoe storage drawers. These look fantastic and are just as we envisioned. Kallum made 2 built-in cupboards/shelving units for our lounge and we are so pleased with them, he did a fantastic job. Malcolm has extensively worked on our new build house. Tiling all shower rooms, downstairs toilet & building both a garden privacy fence and our detached garage. Not to mention extensively plastering throughout the home. All his work is done right first time, (his plastering is like glass to the touch) he is also a genuinely friendly person which makes him a pleasure to give work projects to.

Graham made a bespoke wardrobe over the stair bulkhead and was happy to make last minute changes to the design. He also changed the handrail on the landing, looks amazing. Graham is professional, efficient, clean and tidy. Will definitely use again.

Graham did a range of work for us including reflooring the loft plus a new loft ladder, supplying and fitting four new internal doors, creating new understairs storage ( cupboards and draws) and a large coat cupboard. We were very happy with the communication from beginning to end and the quality of the work and the overall finish.

Graham works professionally, is very capable, and a true craftsman. He carefully discussed the work, explained what he was doing and why. He put in alot of thought and preparation into the job even before he turned up. He cleaned up thoroughly after he had finished each day. For us, he has hung 6 new doors, renovated an airing cupboard and cladded our staircase in oak, with new balustrades. It looks stunning now it is finished. Very happy 😃😃

Charlie did all of our carpentry work for our new bedroom. He came round to have a look when it was taken back to brick, where we gave him our ideas and he knew exactly what he needed to do to bring our vision to life. Charlie communicated the whole way through the process what his plans were. We are over the moon with the end results. He made us large cupboards for the bay window, a large cupboard for the side of the chimney breast (all from scratch and soft close doors), panelling, skirting and the windowsills. Charlie went above and beyond to make sure everything was to our liking. Will continue to use him for any more work we do throughout the house and will continue to recommend to our family and friends.

Contacted Charlie regarding to fitted wardrobes. I sent him some pictures from Pinterest regarding what I was looking for. Charlie came round the following week and 3 weeks later I have 2 very beautiful bespoke, made to measure wardrobes. Charlie's works is excellent, he was punctual and tidy. We had nine new internal doors installed recently. We are very pleased with the finished work. Following the installation of a new bathroom last year, we had a problem with closing the door. Rick came up with a great way to overcome this issue and along with the lovely replacement door, it works really well. Rick is friendly and hard working and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Rang Kieran at very short notice and he managed to fit us into his very busy schedule. Just ensure if you want some work doing, give Kieran plenty of notice as he is excellent and his diary is very full. Called as urgently needed a loft hatch fitted to gain access to a leaking water tank in the roof space. Kieron was quick to respond and come out to quote me for the work and was able to come back the following week to carry out the job. The finished product was of great quality and all work carried out was exactly as Kieron said it would be on his initial visit. Good workmanship, good value and an all round nice bloke - very courteous and easy going. Would highly recommend and will be using again in future for other jobs that need doing.

Fantastic shop and staff! Have been using Equip for over 10 years for both work and personal use, and wouldnt like to imagine how much I've spent in there over the years. But I still choose to use them as my go to shop for hardware needs. The staff are amazing, always friendly and extremely helpful. Even if they don't have the item your needing in on that day, they will always do their best to try and get it in for you within a few days. There is very little they can't get or do for you. So I would always highly recommend them.
