My new favorite cafe! Got in a little late for breakfast but they still served it up, and it was brilliant! Every part of the breakfast was cooked perfectly, even the mushrooms which were crispy not soggy . Good ingredients, friendly owners and cosy decor (even has a log burner)! Music was on point too! Will definitely be visiting again!

I posted this originally in November but I was trying to add an additional review for my visit in February and I've ended up updating only the date... The review above is not a duplicate it's a different visit.... Type of place I wouldn't expect to exist any more. Really nice sandwich (really nice bread) and great coffee for a good price in cool surroundings. I've been here once before when I stopped in Acocks Green, look forward to coming back again!

So I was here 3 months ago, last time I was in Brum. This place is just fantastic, I'll go out of my way to come here. The sandwich is really nice as is the coffee, but really it's the uniqueness of it's decor and the friendless that you encounter every time you come in. I think the way the place and the staff welcome you rubs off the on the people visiting, I always end up having a chat with someone. I didn't even know the back room existed before this visit, lovely space with a wood burner... If only everything in life was this good!

Me and my hubby popped in for a coffee. Wow!!!! What a lovely place. We were very impressed they did greek frappe's so reminded us of Greece and the inside and outside garden area is so nice. It was recommended to us ro try it and we absolutely loved it and will definitely be going back,for food next time. A real hidden gem.

Went for the first time and everything was perfect from the interior, customer service and the food 😘 🤌🏾 We were served by the lovely Gabriel who made us feel comfortable and welcomed! I highly recommend the seafood platter if you are a seafood lover like us! We will definitely be back!

A brilliant night out. This is a buzzy Asian restaurant serving great cocktails and delicious thai food. From start to finish the service was excellent. We enjoyed some cocktails before indulging in great Thai food including the starter sharing platters, mains and ice cream. All of the food was quick and delicious with generous portions. Plenty of options for veggies. This is a dress up place (although you don't have to!)

Siamais is an absolute gem! The food was exceptionally good, and every dish we tried was bursting with authentic Thai flavors. The service was fast and super friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The Drunken Noodles and Massaman Chicken Curry were simply outstanding—perfectly balanced, rich, and flavorful. To top it all off, the Mango Thai Dessert was a delight; truly mouth-smacking! I would highly recommend Siamais to anyone in Birmingham looking for the best Thai delicacies. This place is a must-visit for Thai food lovers!

We came to celebrate our daughter’s graduation and were seated quickly and looked after well throughout the evening. Authentic Thai cuisine and believe me because I’m Thai and not related to anyone working here. We enjoyed all the dishes and desserts. Would definitely come back again when in Birmingham.

One of the better Damascena locations, a friendly and clean environment and the food was hot and tasty. Service was poor as they were short staffed and one server for all the tables. The food delivery was slower than expected. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Vegan options available.

Great food, always love the ambience and staff is ever so friendly and welcoming. Niamh served us and there were few of us, she stunned all of us as she remembered every single one of our orders, very impressive which proves Damascena staff takes pleasure in providing ace customer service. I was so impressed by my experience at Dishoom in Birmingham today. I took my mum for a lunch (for her birthday) and we were given a really great table and surprised with a complimentary dessert - so kind and thoughtful. The atmosphere and decor is great. The food and cocktails were all superb and good value. The service was absolutely perfect: friendly and accomplished. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Wonderful food and lovely staff. My wife has complex dietary needs and we turned up without pree booking. The staff could not have been more helpful. Jake who served us was excellent as was the manager Natalie I think her name was.

Recommend the chicken ruby curry, incredible unique taste. Both the rose and mango lassi very refreshing and delicious. Server knew a lot about the menu and gave some of his own recommendations. Service was really quick and would definitely return Maybe could turn the Lights up tho 🤣

Pedro had made my mother birthday experience something she will never forget, his attentiveness within the menu, bringing a birthday dessert for her and his kindness really made the experience 10/10. My mom rarely goes out so I thought I would surprise her by taking her here tonight and she loved it!! Shout out to Alex for also being an amazing server to us as well!! My sister had her wedding here on a Monday, she made reservations for 20 people but didn’t mention she was getting married that morning. When I called in to ask if I could bring a cake and centerpieces they were so sweet and nice and said they would note on the reservation. When we arrived she was so surprised to see that they had a private room for her set up in a beautiful way. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing some of the favorite meals were the crab bisque, salmon, the Mediterranean started. We want to thank everyone, the chef, the host, the waiter, even the cleaning crew because the place was nice and clean. Thank you all for the way you run this restaurant!!!

Excellent food and always great service, recently there and was floored by how good the sweet potato soup was! Along with exceptional meatloaf was some great comfort food in a fine setting. They have something for everyone. Pumpkin cheesecake SO GOOD.

I had a pleasant experience at Yardley Inn. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was excellent. I ordered the Taco de Jour, but unfortunately, the chicken was dry – not my favorite. However, the server was very accommodating and offered to replace it with another entrée. On the bright side, the calamari and fish and chips were delicious. Overall, good service and nice ambiance made for a decent visit.

This kid friendly american restaurant in Yardley is a must see. They have dedicated parking. Great menu that isn't overwhelming. The portions are large, so it's a good value. Crab bisque was remarkable. I highly recommend it. It has some Cajun heat. Burger was properly cooked and flavorful. Fries were very good. A little sweet like kettle cooked style. Can't go wrong with steak, although I'd take my gravy on the side next time. Desserts were good. Cocktail good. Can't go wrong.

Coffee tales was recommended to us so we went in for a latte whilst shopping in the jewellery quarter. Such a lovely atmosphere. The cakes and the food looked delicious. We only had time for a coffee and it was the best latte I have ever tasted. This place is a little gem. 100% recommended 😃

Very good restaurant, I walked past this restaurant many times and never even went in, I checked out today and amazing. Visited Tattu Birmingham for my birthday as a group of 2 and our waiter; Christina was amazing. She helped us navigate what to order and recommended us cocktails which we ended up really enjoying. Also super friendly. After getting the bill I mentioned it was my birthday and received a plate from our waiter saying happy birthday with a fortune cookie. Felt it was really thoughtful and a cute touch. Definitely made my day. Beautiful place. 100% would recommend to family and friends.

Great cocktails and food! Can’t go wrong with Tattu. I love the espresso martini here and my fave food is the duck pancakes. So many options on the menu and I’ve always enjoyed trying new dishes here. The venue is beautiful with pink blossom trees everywhere. Service is good and I would go back again.

Amazing decor and atmosphere. Becky our waitress was so kind and helpful. I wish all waiters could be like her. Thank for an amazing evening with my family. We celebrated my sisters 18th and couldn’t have been happier. The food was 10/10 no complaints and the cocktails were delicious. I would definitely recommend this please. Treated at Tattu tonight with a fantastic venue, beautiful menu and lovely staff. Really recommend coming here for modern Chinese, with highlights such as the dim sum sharing platter and the caramel soy beef fillet. The interior is beautiful and photogenic. The staff, specifically Byron, who served us, and Ella, who hosted us at the door, were delightful. they are a true asset to the Tattu team. Thank you for tonight and we will be back!

My first experience here was through delivery. I loved my meal! Finally, I found the time to walk over and to eat in person. My experience was even better. This gem was found on a trip back to Birmingham after moving to Melbourne Australia nearly 20 years ago. Fantastic friendly service, great atmosphere with the music choice, took the risk of having a Latte coffee which certainly didn’t disappoint when you’re use to the fantastic coffee you have in Melbourne, this was the best coffee I have had on my trip. The Breakfast was just amazing and the perfect combination of ingredients tasted so good! This is a definite place to return to when needing a coffee and breakfast

Nice atmosphere big windows feels spacious. Easy to order, decent choice menu and good quality food. Not too long a wait for food to arrive, nice drinks choice also. Iced tea was lovely! Coffee quite weak but nice enough. Hash browns great but have to pay for quite a lot of sauce to waste it for the size of them…! Quite expensive for the portion sizes but it’s nice and friendly.

Good choices of food. Mexican eggs and Egg Benedict were of a decent standard. Plenty of choices for drinks. Attentive table service (we were served by Mary) and overall clean environment. An improvement compared to our last visit a few years ago.
