Stuart and Steve came to lay new laminate flooring in our bathroom, they were very friendly and have done a great job. We had previously had part of the actual floor replaced from another company and it was a different height to the rest of the floor, the entire floor was a mess. They filled the space so that everything was level, sorted everything and made it look good. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you!

We have purchased the most amazing kitchen which looks spectacular. The service is excellent with fantastic attention to detail at all times. We are pleased with every inch of the kitchen which has been professionally and expertly designed by Sue, fully taking into account our wishes and offering different designs to suit our budget and taste. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Perfect for the Kitchen, not just for the kitchen but for anything to do with the home.

Sue who runs the shop is very friendly and helpful. They do a variety of furniture and furnishings. If there is something you want but can't see, ask. They can get most things in, in a short time. Having moved very recently to Bourne we have virtually furnished our bungalow from Pic N Pay. Very good quality and the delivery guys are great too. No delivery charge if living locally.

I was prepared to wait for Pete for over a year after seeing my sister's bathroom refurbishment completed by him. When he finally started and then completed our own 3 rooms (Main bathroom, En Suite, Cloakroom) last month, it was well worth the wait! All through his work, Pete was a consummate professional with a very friendly and flexible approach to some changes in plans, always offering great advice and sharing his considerable experience to improve the outcomes. My family and I are really pleased with the final results. I still go into the three rooms frequently just to admire the care, precision and attention to detail with which Pete has completed the job in each one. Pete recently renovated our bathroom & what a fantastic transformation! A friendly guy, very hardworking & his great attention to detail ensures his work is outstanding in every way. Couldn't believe how tidy he was too, throughout the renovation! Despite a few setbacks with delayed delivery of fittings, missing parts & an unexpected leak in the old pipeworks, Pete remained patient & innovative, overcoming each obstacle & still managed to complete the renovation within the timescale. He suggested little extras that have added a touch of luxury to the bathroom & created a unique design. I'd have no hesitation in recommending PB Home Improvements. We loved Pete! Friendly, professional and completely housetrained, requiring only sweetened tea and the occasional Kitkat. He transformed our bathroom which now looks absolutely fantastic. Pete fitted my bathroom and the workmanship is excellent. Great customer service and he went above and beyond. When the valve for my shower didn't work, he brought one he had while I waited for a replacment so I could still use the shower. This was after job was completed. I would highly recommend Pete.

I cannot express enough how thrilled I am with the exceptional service provided by C&S Construction (Bourne) Limited. From the outset, I knew I had made the right choice in selecting them for our building project. Chris and Stuart, the owners, demonstrated a level of professionalism and pragmatism that immediately put me at ease. The scope of the project was extensive, involving relocating our ground floor toilet, building a new office for my work-from-home setup, and converting a 40 square meter garage into an open plan kitchen/family room. Throughout the entire process, Chris and Stuart kept me well-informed, providing regular updates on progress and discussing the next steps and any decisions that needed to be made. The quality of their workmanship is truly outstanding, and I was impressed to find the building area left clean and tidy at the end of each working day. They are not only highly skilled but also courteous and reliable, arriving promptly at 8 am every morning. Additionally, they efficiently managed the building control aspects, ensuring that all necessary approvals and sign-offs were obtained. So my neighbour and I have been trying for the past couple of months to find somebody to carry out some remedial work on our adjoining roofs. I don’t know what it is about Grantham, but the roofers here, only want the big money jobs and everybody basically fobbed us off at the high port. The irony being that both of us individually can afford to spend money, its just that the jobs we required were actually little ones. So yesterday, there was a knock on the door and Mark Stephens of MS Home improvements (based out of Bourne) was handing out cards and basically advertising his services. So my neighbour and I decided to take the chance (Well it initially was just Gutter cleaning and windowsill painting) So as an Ex Royal Engineer I watched Mark work (like you do) and was most impressed with the quality of his work and his attention to detail. During his initial inspection Mark found an issue from a previous roofer who instead of using lead had cut corners and used a self-adhesive foil, which over time had turned into confetti and exposed the side of the roof to the elements result in extreme erosion of the mortar (I climbed the ladder and checked) and needed urgent attention before the onset of autumn and winter. (Photos below). Mark explained the situation in a clean and concise matter and quoted a price. Let me point out this wasn’t somebody trying to pull wool over our eyes, rather it was somebody pointing out, ""Err you have a roof problem”."" Mark went well out of his way to repair our combined roof issue. I personally had a couple of additional roofing issues which I needed rectifying (Ridge tiles repointing , a number of cracked roof tiles replacing) This Mark undertook with no fuss, no trying to pull wool over my eyes (I did say I am an ex combat engineer) Not only that, but being the jobs worth as I am, actually went up onto the roof to check his work (like you do) noticed that our neighbours either side had somewhat overgrown gutters (photos included) texted them and Mark cleaned them when given the go-ahead from both parties for not very much. So how did I find Mark? , who until yesterday I had never met before, a amicable guy who couldn’t do enough in which to please, Yes it sounds too good to be true, but the simple fact remains, he did everything I asked of him and he did it not only to a high standard, but at affordable prices. In fact so impressed have I been with his work, I have already booked him to sort out the end of the extension with a dry verge (sort out the weather damage and repaint it) and replace a couple of pieces of guttering effected by a fire across the way. My final assessment, you couldn’t find a better feller to sort out your roof. if you wish to speak to me in which to ascertain if i am real,, ask Mark to pass on my phone number, more than happy to chat.

So happy with the work that Thanasi and team have done for us. He has been great to work with, offered good suggestions to problems, was flexible and accommodating with required changes and very trustworthy. The finishes are to a very high standard and we are delighted with the end product (a new en-suite bathroom and a re-modelled family bathroom). I would highly recommend Thanasi for other work.

NOT your typical builders - Thanasi and his team are awesome went above and beyond to build our extension better than we would of imagined, even with delays out of their control from Building Regd they worked hard and finished on time. The whole team work hard from the moment they arrive and are polite, tidy and treat the job as if it were their own home. I have already recommended them to family and friends and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Theo came highly recommend to us and with good reason. He is excellent at what he does, is reliable and very reasonable. The day before christmas eve we came back to a house with no heating and a 1 year old. Theo came round quickly, helped with what he could and was able to recommend a plumber for the rest. We managed to get it sorted and done in under and hour. He really is a lovely person and amazing at what he does. He has helped us with alot of odd jobs and we wouldn't use anyone else.

Theo, Charles and Vinnie have just updated our en-suite by installing a new shower cubicle and tiles. They have done a fantastic job and we couldn't be more pleased with the end result.
