It was my first time using Man Maid Services Ltd and I had a wonderful experience. The scheduling was quick and efficient, appointment was made around my work schedule!
Our handyman, Barry, was very knowledgeable about the work and best way to complete the job! He was punctual, very thorough & even cleaned up after the job was done. Barry is very helpful & honest. And he even helped me to save some money!!

I am very happy with the service provided by Man Maid, from the booking process to the service provided. Very professional, polite and knowledgable. They quoted me first, once I have accepted the quote they send someone next day to come and do the job. We had Dean Robinson who did all the tasks agreed and he went above and beyond with the work done. I am very pleased and I will certainly call them again in the future.

Replaced garden decking. Excellent job at reasonable price. Did it properly so will last. Worked quickly and tidied up. Will definitely use Man Maid again.

Mungo, Rory and team are amazing handymen that have sorted multiple issues at our terraced house in Southfields , ranging from sash window restoration, new tap installs, hanging cupboard doors and shelves. Always great with communication and invoicing is upfront and transparent.

Several Man Maid jobs later…. I can say I’ve had my highs and lows with Man Maid. (Mostly highs though.) Overall, good. But better for smaller jobs. Here is why… You’d think someone is project managing the staff, but I’ve had staff turning up to work on a wall in my property not knowing the exact scope of the planned 3h-job, and this made the job go over budget. Hence you need to project manage yourself (at least for now). If you don’t, the scope of the work will be increased - which means going over budget. As you go over budget and you don’t project manage the staff, it is likely you will pay for 90 min and someone will work 70 min despite the fact more work still needs done. I highly recommend keeping an eye on what is being done in terms of the job scope and time spent. Water leaks… If you pay for a 30 min investigation to find a leak, make sure you request that the same person who investigated the source of the leak is the one who comes to do the job itself or else you risk going over budget, as someone new needs to do his own 30 min investigation to learn exactly where the leak is. Brickwork: I rate 5 out 5. Plumbing work: I rate 5 out 5. Demolition: I rate 4 out of 5 since I was told to book 60 min, but it took 35 min to partially demolish a ceiling in my kitchen. Decorating… let’s just say there is room for improvement! (Same with project management, communication, staying within budget, attention to details.) I don’t know why Man Maid doesn’t send a notification to the customer before going over budget. I for one would appreciate being pre-notified as I have a tight budget. Moving forward, I’d like to see the incorporation of a Time Bank. If I pay for 90min and the job gets done in 70min according to the labour report, then I’d like 20 min to be time-banked into my account. I never had any issues with booking a job and people not turning up, so in terms of reliability I give Man Maid 5 out of 5. Politeness and trying to go above and beyond 5 out of 5. Taking credit card is a nice touch since I can build up my air miles.
