Stopped by for a drink. Staff were really friendly and chatty. Looked like they had some fun themed live music and food evenings. We didn't eat but it was great for a drink outside the front to watch the world go by.
Nice, homely pub. Best food I've had from a pub in a long time. We had a toddler with us who was also made very welcome, by staff and by customers
What a great find. Staff were very welcoming. The Sunday Roast was excellent, good quality ingredients and beautifully cooked. A good sized portion for £16 a head. Definitely value for money. Locals just kept coming in so a good atmosphere with banter. Nice sunny garden at the front of the pub. Would highly recommend.
Stopped off on the way back from Polesden Lacey to London. Ate two roast chicken baps with 2 pint sized soft drinks. Absolute bargain lunch at 19 quid for the lot - especially as portion size was ginormous and the chicken was excellent quality! Landlady was on her own and super busy but incredibly friendly and welcoming. Service was excellent.
