Popped in for Sunday lunch and was very impressed with the food. The wife had roast beef whilst I opted for pork. The portions were pretty substantial and tasted delicious. We had chocolate fudge cake and apple and cherry crumble for pudding and both were fabulous. In fact the wife said "it's the tastiest fudge cake I've ever had", which if you knew just how much cake she's eaten over the years, you'd realise that this is the highest praise indeed! 😂 My crumble was equally divine. Plus it was only £12.95 for both courses or £9.95 for just dinner, what an absolute treat. 😊
Lovely village pub. Took my dog for his first visit to a pub, really dog friendly and great food and drink. Very nice place.
Great Sunday dinner and excellent value for money. Our local place to drink and always friendly to all that visit. Village prices too so cheap rounds 🍺🍷🍻
Beautifully cooked Sunday lunch. Members of our group had beef or turkey and both were cooked to perfection and were very good portions. Selection of vegetables served separately. We all had a pudding and they were just as good as the main course. Very good value at £12:95 for 2 courses. You can just have the main which is just under £10:00. The girls who served us were friendly and efficient. We will definitely go again.
