The people serving the food were absolutely lovely. We had a big Christmas Dinner here and felt really spoiled. Our waiter really looked after all our needs and even brought us mince pies at the end! Really lovely, the food was brilliant and the place was super nicely decorated and clean!!! Amazing experience!!!
Found it very friendly menu a bit sparce as they were waiting delivery but at least we got a lunch could do with not cooking pies as much as we're a bit hard round edges. Please take this as a suggestion not a criticism but a little more filling in pies would not go amiss but all in all very friendly and helpful see you next time we are in Alford.
Nestled in the heart of Alford, this establishment proved to be a haven for sports enthusiasts seeking both camaraderie and quality libations. Upon entering, we were immediately enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere, setting the stage for an enjoyable evening ahead. While our visit was brief, it was abundantly clear that this venue takes pride in its commitment to hospitality. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and a genuine eagerness to ensure our experience was nothing short of exceptional. One of the highlights of our time here was undoubtedly the impressive selection of beers and ciders. With a diverse array of options to choose from, even the most discerning palate would find something to savor. From crisp lagers to bold IPAs and refreshing ciders, the choices were as varied as they were enticing. Although we regrettably didn't have the opportunity to sample the food offerings, the tantalizing aromas wafting from the kitchen hinted at a culinary experience worth returning for. But the true star of the evening was the electrifying atmosphere fueled by the live rugby match between Ireland and Wales. As we cheered on our respective teams alongside fellow fans, it became evident that this venue isn't just a place to enjoy great drinks—it's a community united by a shared love for sports and good company. In conclusion, whether you're a die-hard rugby fan or simply looking for a welcoming spot to enjoy a cold brew with friends, this establishment delivers on all fronts. With its friendly ambiance, diverse drink selection, and lively sports viewing experience, it's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an unforgettable night out.
After realizing we wouldn't find any food in Chapel St Leonards during this heavily raining day, we found this place to have a snack and a drink. Staff was friendly enough to get the kitchen running and we enjoyed a lovely fresh homemade soup and a good beer. Place is nice, has a pool table, a beer garden and a car park.
