Great service! Tyrone responded quickly to my enquiry and was even prepared to come out on a weekend. He dealt with the problem quickly and efficiently, explaining everything, and checking that I was happy. Excellent value for money and he left everything tidy afterwards too! We have just recently added a garden building to our property which we required connecting to the mains electrics. Very pleased with both the service and quality of work from Tyrone and his team. Incredible food, lovely staff an overall really comfortable dining experience. Highly recommend for a quick breakfast, brunch or lunch. My companions had their meals prior, but the staff were happy to offer just the sides and a drink without any fuss. Perfectly situated along the way to Canterbury cathedral and surrounding areas.

I had the best breakfast here since the beginning of my stay in the UK. I rate the whole experience very good. The service was nice and helpful. We didn't wait long after placing the order. The dishes were wonderful - fresh, tasty, pleasing to the eye and palate. Compliments to the chef. Delicious coffee. I will definitely come back here, even though the queue in front of the entrance is not getting shorter 😄 It's really worth it!

Nice little on the way in Canterbury from Canterbury West station. Very friendly staff and lovely cafe. We had breakfast/brunch and ordered the Rancher and the House Smoked Salmon and Avo with two tea. Very good and different from your normal breakfast offerings. Worth a visit.

Absolutely adore this place! Me and my partner were so happy we found this during our trip and had become a firm favourite! Will definitely be back next time we’re in the area! Food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is lovely with the roaring fire on a cold November morning. The best eggs we’ve had in the UK, and my other half says the French toast with the honeycomb butter is to die for!

A job completed absolutely on time and to order, with all points of it very professionally as well as punctually performed. We were struck by the care taken in the scoping out and, thanks to the clear explanations (and documentation) that we received, would have full confidence in the after-sales service which is available if needed. P.S. Six months after those sentences were posted, a second very satisfying recourse to this company enables us to reaffirm every word. The latest job, like the first one, was thoroughly scoped out and very tidily finished. It was an excellent service all the way from initial reconnaissance to installation, with valuable advice at either end of the process about what might best go where.

One Call Electric installed Sockets in my shed (Man Cave) The work carried out was excellent, the armoured cable from the house to shed was installed along the bottom of the garden fence and barely visible. The sockets in the shed were installed exactly where I asked and the trim round the door was laid brilliantly. Super happy with everything they did. Would totally recommend this company.

Just returned from Sunday lunch ! Outstanding We wanted to wait a couple of weeks to smooth out any teething problems, it was definitely worth the wait . The quality of the ingredients was top notch the pork was sourced locally and the lamb cooked perfectly. Draft Guinness is a given friendly bar for pre lunch drinks . The roast was as good as any I’ve eaten this year the potatoes tasted like Christmas Day roasties cooked in goose fat oozing with taste and fluffiness and there take on cauliflower cheese is cheese on leeks , delicious! I never have desert only cheese but the table next to us had an apple cake with walnut ice cream which I have to say I succumbed to easily ! Staff For a pub restaurant that has just opened they were and are exceptional They have clearly been very well trained and I would suggest hand picked , they work as a team and that really benefits the customer Dressed in black engaging and encouraging ( a degree of up sale ) which I actually like and shows they understand the business. The chef also made an appearance which I always think shows confidence in the service !!! . If I had just one small criticism to keep the review genuine the Yorkshire pudding are oversized and ever so slightly Toby Carvery ( not that I’ve ever actually eaten at a Toby Carvery 😂😂😜) We will definitely return soon

The best meal I have had in a long time, what an idyllic location for a Sunday walk and roast. The staff was incredible including our lovely waitress Tallulah, she was very quick and very polite. The chef came out to say hello which was really refreshing. And the food was just soooo good !

So happy The Duck is back. Went for lunch on a Friday, good to see the pub was thriving. We were looked after by Lydia who was fantastic, friendly and attentive, an asset to the team. Had the baked cod main with a side of veg, husband had the burger after spotting a previous order when we walked in. Both were faultless. Finished off with pana cotta (Lydia's recommendation), perfect end to a memorable meal. Looking forward to returning already.

Very much living up to its many five star reviews! The food was fabulously tasty and beautifully presented. Tallulah has superb waiting skills, expertly attentive, welcoming and friendly. It’s a small country pub, lovingly restored. I see a recent review complained about The Duck being a very small pub, but I feel its size works to its advantage. Like many other locals, I am relieved that this small and incredibly old pub, set out in the peaceful Pett Bottom valley, has survived all these years when so many others have not! Congratulations to the current chef & owner for breathing new life into it and selecting such a good team to work there. Long may it flourish and prosper. We really liked The Kings Arms in Elham, but having visited The Duck we’d all now say that the food at The Duck is even tastier, which is a tall order! Be sure to book in advance.

We had a problem with lighting in our downstairs bathroom with the existing fitting tripping the consumer unit. Contacted Jackson Electricals and James was on the case immediately, arriving as he said he would at 9.00am the following morning. I cannot praise his work, attention to detail and prompt response too highly. James is the best electrician I’ve known since buying my first property in 1988. I have used Relay at 5 different properties - varying roles, from running electrics round the garden for lighting and hot tubs, full re wires and then changing lights and moving sockets and switches. They always turn up when they say they are normally with a Text message reminder sent the day before arrival ,nothing is any hassle ( even if the plans / design change our end ) and all always polite and professional. I never hesitate to pass on their details to friends and family and everyone has the same view! I have dealt with alot of electricians in my time and these guys can do the lot. Also good in ‘urgent’ cases for my tenanted properties - they can always juggle something to get someone back on supply or to fix a fault So I will always recommend Relay to anyone

Darren installed a GIVenergy battery towards the end of July 2024. The installation went smoothly but shortly after it became apparent that there was a problem with theGIVenergy battery. Darren was extremely helpful in liasing with GIVenergy to identify the fault in the battery packs.This led to replacement battery packs from GIV energy which has solved the problems with the system. I can strongly recommend Darren for not only the installation but also the after sales support when it became apparent that the original battery packs supplied by GIVenergy were faulty.
