The soaring ceiling here adds a sense of imbalance to a basic no-nonsense interior configuration that manages to exaggerate the minimal in minimalist. A mere gesture of morose lite-bites does little to convince. The coffee certainly held its ground but doesn’t venture into the realm of anecdotal nor so the grim view across the dismal road. The service was faultless. Buzzy and busy.

REALLY tasty food - I had egg on crusty toast with bubble n squeak and a good, really hot, latte - and very reasonably priced too. Egg was PERFECTLY cooked, as was toast (not always a given in cafs), the bubble was great but if I'm being picky I would have liked a bit more cabbage to potato ratio. Took me a while to find this place but it was the only option near to where I was working and I was very pleased with it - I didn't have a lot of time and they got my food to me quickly. Staff are friendly. I would 100% go back if I was in the area again; the standard of cooking for simple things makes me think their meals are probably pretty darned good!

I have been few times at Big Joe’s in Stratford, and it is always an all-around fantastic experience! The food is absolutely delicious — every dish was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. You can tell the chefs here really care about quality ingredients and crafting meals that leave a lasting impression. The staff was equally impressive. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. It's clear they’re passionate about what they do, and they really go out of their way to make sure guests have a great experience. Big Joe’s has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for any occasion, and I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend if you're in the Stratford area and looking for a memorable meal.

The Chicken with Potatoes at [Big joes] was outstanding. The chicken was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside—while the roasted potatoes were golden and deliciously seasoned. Ive been going here everyday for almost a year now and its great customer service and food every single time. Very affordable and there is also Halal full english breakfast options which i find to be very rare. Great find, would recommend every time.

Such a cute coffee shop for a quick bite. I ordered a flat white, cappuccino, a raspberry (I think it might have been blueberry actually), apricot danish, pistachio scone and fried halloumi. The ambience is nice and cozy with dimmed lighting and old books. We really enjoyed our food and drinks. It was a lovely place to chat with friends. The staff were nice and helpful. Will be back!

The best burger in London that I've never tried in this city. Ordered the signature burger, jerk chicken and east classic. Juicy and tasty with fresh and appropriate ingredients. Secret sauce for burger and chips that U can't miss. Plus, nice latte and hot choco. Surely come back again!❣️

This was my first time eating at this restaurant as I chose to come in the afternoon luckily there was no queue, the food was very tasty and I will put the photos below, the add spinach, bacon and cheese was delicious and a large portion which was totally filling and the fried calamari was very crispy. Regarding drinks, I ordered the mango & avocado milkshake which was very refreshing and tasty, the hot chocolate pulls were lovely, the clerk who served me was Nemo and was very welcoming and lovely, it was a great meal! Recommended to anyone who wants to come and try it.

Alexandra was fantastic! She was quick, responsive, attentive and recommended great choices! We absolutely had a lovely time and would certainly come back. My favourite was the aubergine starter and the classic Carbonara. The food came in piping hot 🔥 which was excellent. This location is more than 5 stars satfull is amazingly attentive to you and the service they do and the food is wow, I had as whiter Mr Leno I was delighted with him as he took great care of our table , and the biggest surprise was on my friend's birthday when they brought dessert. Located just in front of bustling West Ham station. Here, you may find an oasis with supreme mixture of art, books, climbing plants, cakes and deliciously curated seeded baguette. What a magical place to have stumbled upon this place. I fully recommend this place, with friendly and welcoming team. The only downside is that they don’t encourage laptops or, electronics to be used in their premises. Then again, who needs electronics when you’re surrounded with books, art, ceramics and visual knock-knacks. A true gem. ❤️

One of the best cafe I ever visited! Friendly staff. Great, one of kind place where you can get quality food and delicious coffee, listen nice music, relax, read a book or do a bit of online work while you waiting for the food. Place isn't very big but it's well designed and frequently upgraded - very stylish. Flower decoration is my favourite. Worth to stop by

It’s been four years I have been walking pass this little hidden gem stone in the corner, very easy to miss. But I won’t miss it anymore. Let’s start from the look, which is very different and attractive. You are bound to fall in love with the shop at first sight. Then again all the books give it a essence of a book shop or a cafe where you can read book and enjoy your hot drink. I was thrilled to know that you can actually buy this stuffs which has a distinctive price tag of them. The furniture and the overall look is very artistic and significantly different from any other retail coffee shops or food places. Then let me mention about the stuffs who are very friendly and polite, while talking to them with all my surprised 😱 face, they didn’t let me realise it was our first meeting. It felt like awesome there, highly recommended place to visit at least once and see by yourself. however, let me write about the coffee as well, I am very fussy about my coffee and usually prefer cafe Nero over any other retail coffee places. But the coffee from here was fantastic, it was just perfect 👌. Can’t wait to go there again 😁😁 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !! enjoy 😉

Very nice place with a specific atmosphere. Will be coming back for your tacos as I want to try them. This time we had nachos(which were undercooked(!)), beer and smoothie(it tasted so unusual but I loved it). Cool place to hang out with your friends in a summer day. They also have a dj playing very good songs which make you want to dance to them. I was surprised people were not dancing maybe it wasn’t late enough... The staff is very friendly as well. They also have got a hammock there!🥹 and some random toilet seat in the garden which I found absolutely terrific hahaha. Definitely worth visiting! P.S. guys you’ve got too much of a plastic in use there. Is there any way you could maybe replace some of the cups with glasses by any chance?

Located on the edge of the Olympic Park, this is a great little spot for a bite to eat and a few drinks before ABBA Voyage (just a short walk away) or an event at the London Stadium…the weather wasn’t great the day we were there but it felt like walking into a little cafe/restaurant on a foreign holiday, really cute no bells and whistles but a great little place…we sat inside but when the weather is good they have an outdoor patio space which looks lovely. Menu is great and the staff were very friendly and careful to assist with some allergy requirements. We ordered tacos and a burrito and both were delicious. The food was good quality and at a reasonable price. They have a little condiments counter which also offers tap water in large dispensers that you can help yourself to, this is a nice touch. All in all really loved this place and will definitely return.

Nice Cafe that delivers on value and taste. Good vegan options like vegan breakfast and bagel. The kids fish finger burger meal is a very good portion size that can feed a hungry adult. Overall decent service and food that is worth a try. Very nice crispy a d fluffy skin on chips. Amazing Music/ vibe I was Shazaming all the music they were playing 😂🤩🤩🤩🤩. The food was tasty and the Chef was really nice to gives us the time to ask her and recommended us with food and drinks, she comes after we finish our lunch to ask us how’s the food . Went to the Grill with my family for a meal and a catch up. Service was attentive and prompt. We ordered quite a lot of food and it all arrived on time, nicely presented, and at the same time so noone was left out. Everything was delicious, the mac and cheese is amazing! The food was amazing and well cooked with all the sauces etc... the presentation was top notch. The service was very good aswell. Ali welcomed us very nicely and supported us with any queries we had. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we enjoyed every last minute. From the drinks to the food but that was eclipsed by the service. We were looked after impeccably by Michael who suggested drinks, food but above all great chat. Highly recommend Jim & Tonic and hope you get looked after by Michael.

The stadium is big – I was in The Academy, which is VIP. The fan shop is also great (I’m Czech, so I bought a Tomáš Souček jersey). I would just kindly ask the fans not to leave, even though West Ham was losing 5-2 after the first half.

I'm very positive about the quality of this stadium and it's post Olympic purpose. It looks incredible when packed. West ham fans have been magnificent even though they mostly wish they didn't have to move. They do create an incredible atmosphere and following. Favourite memories of Upton Park are Trevor Brooking's final game and Adrian's winning penalty vs Everton in the FA Cup
