Overall decent service and food that is worth a try. Very nice crispy a d fluffy skin on chips. The cafe location looks like a good place to visit in the summer months judging from the other pictures and reviews. 5 stars well deserved ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing Music/ vibe I was Shazaming all the music they were playing 😂🤩🤩🤩🤩. The food was tasty and the Chef was really nice to gives us the time to ask her and recommended us with food and drinks, she comes after we finish our lunch to ask us how’s the food . The staff were really nice and helpful, specially the one who served us, unfortunately I forgot to ask her name 💔💔💔. Food was delicious 😋😋, I ordered Roast chicken Tacos, Fries and MERENGUE. All were perfect🫄🫄🫄. Definitely coming again for the food and vibes.

Very nice place with a specific atmosphere. Will be coming back for your tacos as I want to try them. This time we had nachos(which were undercooked(!)), beer and smoothie(it tasted so unusual but I loved it). Cool place to hang out with your friends in a summer day. They also have a dj playing very good songs which make you want to dance to them. I was surprised people were not dancing maybe it wasn’t late enough... The staff is very friendly as well. They also have got a hammock there!🥹 and some random toilet seat in the garden which I found absolutely terrific hahaha. Definitely worth visiting! P.S. guys you’ve got too much of a plastic in use there. Is there any way you could maybe replace some of the cups with glasses by any chance?

Located on the edge of the Olympic Park, this is a great little spot for a bite to eat and a few drinks before ABBA Voyage (just a short walk away) or an event at the London Stadium…the weather wasn’t great the day we were there but it felt like walking into a little cafe/restaurant on a foreign holiday, really cute no bells and whistles but a great little place…we sat inside but when the weather is good they have an outdoor patio space which looks lovely. Menu is great and the staff were very friendly and careful to assist with some allergy requirements. We ordered tacos and a burrito and both were delicious. The food was good quality and at a reasonable price. They have a little condiments counter which also offers tap water in large dispensers that you can help yourself to, this is a nice touch. All in all really loved this place and will definitely return.

Wonderful authentic food! Perfect supper meal. The portions are very fair for the price, we had such a happy meal here. I highly recommend the Thai Curry if you can take some spice. The atmosphere of the area was very chill and friendly, and the inside has a lot of decor that adds to the atmosphere. I asked for containers to takeaway my food and they helped me pack as well. Thank you for the food!

Nice Thai restaurant with great food compared to peers in the locality. It was overall a really good experience dining here and the ratings were justified . Food is pretty good , though the authenticity might get a bit compromised however quality and portion size is good . Ambience is well lit with a good decor , especially considering the price per cover . Staff were really polite and efficient and the smiling faces made our dinner special . I would recommend the prawns appetizer and the green curry . A revisit for sure .

Alexandra was fantastic! She was quick, responsive, attentive and recommended great choices! We absolutely had a lovely time and would certainly come back. My favourite was the aubergine starter and the classic Carbonara. The food came in piping hot 🔥 which was excellent. Some restaurants serve the food cold as theh were on the counter too long before being served. So well done! Thanks

Wingstop Westfield Stratford

The flavourrrsssss! Wingstop never disappoints… I would get it everyday if I could. You have to go for the wings and voodoo fries combo (and ranch!), it’s undefeated. Wingstop in Stratford Westfield offers a refreshing dining experience, especially for those in need of a quick meal during a busy shopping day. The restaurant's variety of flavors is truly delightful, catering to different tastes and preferences. It's commendable that the service is not only quick but also efficient, making it an ideal choice for lunchtime visits. Moreover, the portion sizes align well with the price, which is often a concern in London. Guests can feel satisfied without breaking the bank, a refreshing change in a city known for its high dining costs. The staff's helpfulness enhances the experience further, ensuring that customers feel welcomed and attended to. The cleanliness of the seating area is another positive aspect, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. While Wingstop may not belong to the fine dining category, it certainly excels as a convenient and delicious option for those seeking a quick bite. Overall, it stands out as a reliable choice for anyone in the Stratford area.

Wingstop Stratford is a go-to spot for wing lovers, offering a variety of bold flavors that cater to different taste preferences. From the spicy heat of Atomic and Mango Habanero to the milder Lemon Pepper and Garlic Parmesan, there’s something for everyone. The wings are always cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The menu also includes tasty sides like seasoned fries, coleslaw, and cheesy fries, which complement the wings well. The service is generally quick and friendly, and the staff are helpful in guiding you through the menu if you’re unsure which flavor to choose. The restaurant has a modern, casual atmosphere, making it a great place to hang out with friends. However, during peak times, it can get quite busy, and seating may be limited. Overall, Wingstop Stratford delivers on flavor and quality, making it a solid choice for a casual meal or a quick snack when you’re craving wings.

It was an a experience to have your "typical" wings but with a twist. Definitely a new shop that is welcome to the shopping centre , and they have found their own corner. Ordering could have been quicker by having additional ordering machine . Food was delivered fairly quickly and there was a good range of flavours. Rather than just using it as selling point then they don't deliver. I loved my chicken wings. Also the layout of the seating was varying interesting but also ask to lower the music volume a little bit.

Wingstop been my favourite place for a long time. Wings are delicious, fries are mouthwatering. Place itself is nice and clean. Music is on point. Best thing i've ever experienced is their extraordinary drink machine. Take as much as you can. Also have so many variation. These are pros. Well, some cons as well. Music is bit loud. Over crowded. Less hospitable. Confusing system of serving food. They Should start using buzzers instead of Table Number. ( staffs get tired to find the Number) Wings are small. :( Although it’s never disappointing.

Rating: 4.4 (303) Price Level:

We had lunch here over the weekend and were really impressed with the food and coffee! Very very good value for money. It is a short walk from Westfield Shopping mall so I'd recommend that you come here for food rather than eat in the mall. We had a flat white and black coffee. They were on the small side but tasted very good. For food we had ouzo beans and the banana, yogurt cinnamon toast (see photo of menu for details). The flavours were really delicious. I wasn't expecting much but the food was executed well. There were plenty of tables and the atmosphere was very relaxed. A highly recommended place to visit if you are in the Stratford area.

Hand has the best coffee in East village. My family have been regulars at hand for many years. We love the square mile coffee that they serve. The service is consistently good. The owner/barista/chef does an amazing job juggling everything and still finding time to talk to everyone whilst preparing food and drink with care and attention. The atmosphere and service make Hand feel like a real community cafe rather than a conveyor belt chain and that's what keeps bringing us back.

Best café in the area—the coffee is quite good, but the space is really special: a quiet, serene corner of the Olympic village, facing a duck pond, with lovely plants and calming music. The owner is as calm and kind as her shop. Can’t recommend it enough!

Annoyingly I was recently mugged for my phone by a cyclist in Stratford. The Hand Cafe (I think owner) was incredibly helpful and she went out of her way to assist which was very kind. I have only tried the coffee in here which is great, I will make an effort to try the food now that I am working in the area.

Barge East

River Lee, Sweetwater Mooring, White Post Ln, London E9 5EN, UK | Restaurant
P: 020 3026 2807

Rating: 4.4 (1531) Price Level:

I was invited there for dinner by my sister and her partner. To be honest, at first I was kind of sceptical about what kind of a place it is since it looks a bit deserted outside. However, it turned out to be a total surprise for me in the end. I was amazed by the taste of all the dishes I ordered (focaccia with a mushroom butter, pumpkin soup and Angus ox cheeks as starters; fried aubergine with crispy lettuce touches and the onglet steak with the delicious sauce 😋). I would have had a dessert afterwards but sadly we didn’t have much time for that because we had to catch the basketball game in the end. All in all, it was a great experience with excellent & quick service by experienced staff in this small boat! ⛴️

Anonymous - a month ago

Rating: 5 / 5

The other day, I had dinner with friends at Barge East. When I first arrived in the evening, I thought the place was closed or empty. But as soon as I stepped inside, I was blown away by the ambiance they had created on the boat. The lights and candles set such a cozy, magical atmosphere that we instantly fell in love with it. I was especially happy to find draft beer on such a small boat. Every dish we tried was amazing, with each bite offering a different burst of flavor. We started with focaccia, which came with a mushroom butter that was absolutely delicious. The pumpkin soup was incredible, and the Angus ox cheeks we had as a starter were outstanding. For the mains, the aubergine was a flavor explosion! However, the onglet steak had a slight odor that I found off-putting—though it might just be because I’m quite sensitive to it. Other than that, everything was perfect. The service was excellent, and the staff made the experience even more enjoyable. They are doing an amazing job on this small boat—truly impressive!

Was looking for something different for my partner's birthday. Loved it. Quirky location, great atmosphere, fantastic food and fast and friendly service. Loved the cocktails, oysters and fish specials of the day. Everything is well put together and sticks to the theme. Great vibe and music too. We'll be back. Only small thing to improve could be catering to special bookings. I stated in my reservation that it's my partner's birthday. Of course not mandatory at all but it's always nice when places add that tiny bit of extra for the special occasion. Could be a small desert with a candle. Just as a cherry on top.

Our second visit for a Sunday Roast and the food was incredible. The truffle cauliflower cheese is a little pricey as it’s a large portion (more than enough for 3 people). If they could also offer a smaller option for one that would be amazing! Staff are fantastic and the boat is really cosy on a cold winter day.

Fantastic juicy burger! My family really enjoyed the food. Delicious burgers and good value too. Me and my Dad had the Pulled Angus Beef Burger which was well loaded with tender pulled beef. Nicely cooked juicy patties as well. A small gripe I have is that when asking for pickles to be added to my burger the waitress said they didn't have any but my sisters burger had some in when it came out... I definitely recommend the place as a cheap eat in Stratford.

One of the better steak places in my opinion in the area. Came in a group of 3 and was greeted by the charming staff. Ordered the Sirloin steak with a side of chunky chips. Food took around 30 minutes to arrive which is a tab bit long considering it wasn't at all busy. When arrived, steak was piping hot, smothered with luscious, caramelized onions. Cooked well done just like I asked. Wasn't the most delicious stake I ever had but it did the job. The chips were definitely chunky, but cold. It felt like they were left out waiting for the steak to finish cooking. All in all, spent around £26 per person including drinks which is a bit on the pricy side. Would recommend you give it a try but keep expectations realistic.
