Not fine dining.....but definitely good grub. Generously portioned homemade and homecooked dishes. Steak pie with veg and roast potatoes was more than I could finish and as a butchers son I'm picky about the quality of meat used. Great value at £10. Won't be our last visit..."we'll be back"!!
For me, it is an old school restaurant. Home cooked food . Special of the days, roast dinner daily. Fry up, pies.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Even when I didn't get some I asked for, I said not to worry, they still done it.
Pricing was good for this day with the cost of living.

Stopped off on a whim having originally planned just coffee and cake. Ended up having a full roast each! Great portions, fantastic price and lovely food. Service warm and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.
6 of us had the Sunday roast, one chicken, two beef and two nut roasts. 6 empty plates, delicious! 3 different sizes of meal to choose from.
So many desserts on offer it was hard to decide. I'm dairy free, but still had choices.
Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Just had the most delicious Sunday Roast and Eton Mess. Amazing service and home cooked style food.
