Fantastic, I would urge anyone to seek out this cafe. As soon as we walked through the door we received a friendly warm welcome. There is a good variety of breakfast items which was the purpose of our visit. We decided on the farmers breakfast and added a slice of fried bread to the breakfast. Sausages were fantastic as were the bacon and black pudding. Eggs cooked perfectly and not cooked in those stupid rings. Hash brown looked a bit pale, I was expecting it to be soggy. However I was thankfully proved wrong, really crispy hash brown the way i like them. Fried bread was an extra £1.50 but definitely worth it, not a proper breakfast without it. We also purchased some scones to take home and they were delicious. Top marks 10/10

Fabulous electrician, Great Friendly service and amazing attention to detail. Earlier this year (2024) Lawrence replaced my fuse board in my shop. He also cut down the amount of circuits that were in my shop from 8 to 4, as there was circuits that were not being used. So they got stripped out. Professionalism was outstanding. Thank you.

Haddon Copse Farm

Rating: 4.8 (16) Price Level:

Cycled toured through for one night... Usually we turn up unannounced. But some reason we phoned ahead. A bit expensive compared to what we would normally pay. But it's only got 3 tent areas all separated by a flowery meadow plus some glamping tents, so not an ultra busy site. Showers and toilets were fantastic. I love a bit of stainless steel. A handy fridge not that we used it. Fantastic views. I say, fantastic. We even forked out for wood for a fire and did some star gazing. Ran out of coffee for our early morning brew. Tom gave us some for the morning. Thankyou. A great stay.

This is the most amazing organic farm ever. Its incredible how this beautiful space was created by the owners with an emphasis on biodiversity of wildlife. The owners are the most incredible hosts and you will never eat eggs as good as those produced by their chickens

We stayed at Haddon Copse Farm for 4 days and 3 nights. The site is beautiful, great amenities and lovely woodland trail for morning walks. I love how there are only 3 pitch your own areas and a few bell tents scattered around. It's so nice and relaxing. We vlogged our stay: https://youtu.be/bDCUv11B6Gs?si=vBm4M3kVVE_d34Uk

Wonderful and beautiful. Tom is a gem and so is Mark. My one year old Georgie loved the bell tent. It was roomie and safe and beautiful. Lovely mattresses and the fire pit kept my husband entertained. Loved the showers which were easy with a baby as could walk in and hold her in the shower, plus the pram fitted in. Can't fault the place. Absolutely perfect break and will be doing it again. Tom was a darling worrying about us in the storm and pegging our bell tent down which stayed even in the bad weather. Organic farm with all you could need and lots to do. Found it peaceful and was such a nice touch to have wheelbarrows to take things down to bell tent. Georgie enjoyed the ride. Thanks to the both of you!! Blue, Ted and Georgie Cordner

Margot has been running her cafe from this site about 8 years,so I have been many times in i think the last 7+ years... I live around 150 miles away, and hadn't been here since Christmas... So I got down about 06.30 this morning and had table booked for 09.30..... I can not fault this cafe,I tend to have the Spire Hill Grill and I have yet to have a bad bit of any meal. With the ever increase in cost of living,I was expecting it to be more expensive than Christmas 2022...but nope, same price, and I think it is amazing quality for a very reasonable price. I was with family that live in Dorset and visit this fantastic cafe often....in fact my sister was in the day before also. The staff are lovely...Margot (owner) is a true professional and has built her business up over the years, take look at the website, and the produce that have, home made jams etc etc,I understand they now have some of the produce selling in a local shop. The customers in the cafe are also friendly, and seem to know each other.... I did a review on TaT before, and I'm doing this update as and edit,my original is below. We had pot of tea and three coffees...the little milk bottles, the glass teapot are just examples of some of the things they do differently...and it all goes to show the love Margot has for food and service to her customers (friends) The head chef Eve (pink shorts ;) ) is also a little star, and has been with TaT from being tutored from as an apprentice to becoming head chef... And is a credit to Margot and to catering... We came away with a couple of pieces of home made cakes....and will enjoy later. I know before I arrive that the experience will be all I could reasonably expect, and could only ever leave a rate of 5 star.... Anything less...I'm my view is unjust. My original review below Brilliant cafe,I always try to visit when in area,it's a lovely place, great food, and staff are greatest

The staff were really friendly and welcoming and we managed to pick up a couple of early Xmas presents for hampers as a bonus! Would highly recommend.

After long day at work it was challenge to get some one to come around to fix. I "googled" found this SES LTD. When called spoken to Jonathan who patiently listened to my story and explanation of events and what I tried so far. He kindly gave me some further guidance and advice what else to try and after 2 more calls over the next 20 min we found the cause. I have been considering creating an en suite shower room and effecting some external works at my property but was somewhat daunted by managing a project. Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating Services and James Newsam Construction were recommended by neighbours. Joe and James, who often work in collaboration, came to assess what was required and quote a week after contact. Options were discussed, sensible advice given and a detailed quote and anticipated start date followed shortly thereafter. The Project commenced on the agreed start date with a team of professional, pleasant, experienced, local trades arriving one after the other! all were well-briefed, hard working and consulted me in relation to any decisions (style of doors, placement of switches etc) as necessary. The ethos and importance of "Customer Satisfaction" was obvious throughout. Any queries I had were responded to by Joe or James, usually within the hour. Joe managed the sequence of events entirely for all the electrical and plumbing work, which was completed to a very high standard. I am delighted with my new En Suite Shower Room, it is spacious, practical and stylish and will doubtless add value to my property. I have no hesitation in recommending Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating, who I will definitely use again. PS the final Invoice was exactly as quote and I literally could not fault any part of the service I received.

We've been super-happy with Joe and his colleagues. Highly recommended. We discoevered Joe through a previous small job at our colttage where they were sub-contracted by our builder. This week, they replaced a whole lot of ageing night-storage heaters with modern, programmable radiators at our rather old and crumbly cottage in Dorset. Joe gave great advice, answering every email really quickly. We were away when they did the job over a couple of days. We returned to find everything completed absolutely perfectly. The cabling from our meter was rewired as needed. Everything just right. New radiators installed, firmly fixed to our walls of various weird and historic materials. Other than the radiators being installed, we wouldn't have known they'd been here! The heavy old contraptions full of grime and bricks had been dismantled and taken away without any fuss, or dust. Through no fault of theirs, one of the new radiators had a little fault. They responded instantly and had sourced and installed a new one within 24 hours. Unbelievable! Everything friendly, cheerful, efficient, responsive and charged exactly the price agreed in advance. We are very happy (and warm!) bunnies indeed. Thank you Joe and Mark! All the best, Jon (Dorset DT2)

Joe and his colleagues did the electrical work and plumbing on our houses renovation. The electrical work carried out (mainly) by Aaron and his trusty assistant Billy is superb. Aaron is extremely methodical in his approach and it shows with the end result. We also had a mini wet room built. The end result is stunning. The tiling and the tanking beneath the tiling was done to an extremely high standard. The tiler Steve is a lovely chap and again, extremely methodical in his approach. Towards the end of the project the final bits of plumbing were completed by plumber Aaron and John. Again the work was to a high standard and it was a pleasure having them in our home. We would definitely recommend using Joe and his team and we will be next spring for the other bathroom to be renovated. Thanks Joe and team. Andy and Lisa. Also I think it’s wonderful that Joe takes on apprentices, to train the next generation of electricians.
